Host was easy to communicate with. The house was large enough for our family of 11. We enjoyed our stay.

Plenty of room for our family event. Love the outside porch. A minute drive from the beach. I loved that they thought of everything! There were games above the washer/dryer and they had sand toys for the kids in the garage. Owner was very responsive and attentive. We look forward to staying at their other property too.

It was exactly as described. We love it and our stay there. We only had one problem that happened within the first couple hours we were there. Owner was easy to get a hold of and took care of it quickly and efficiently. We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Everything in the cottage looked exactly like the pictures, very clean and well-maintained. It was kid-friendly which was nice as our 3 year old grandson came up for the day. In addition to the room with the tent, there were children's dishes and beach toys. We were able to add a dog after a last minute sitter cancelation. The fenced in yard was nice for him. The propane grill in the garage and washer and dryer upstairs were nice to have. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet and directly across the street from a free parking lot on the beach. There are little gas station markets nearby but we chose to drive to the Walmart about 20 min. away for some things like cooking spray, foil, and ziplocks. I'm new to VRBO so I knew to bring food, but I didn't think about these things. The checkout expectations were very reasonable. We had a great time. Thank you for the stay.

If you want a bang for your buck, this was it! Up todate and clean. My family really loved the property. We barbecued and had amazing time sitting on the deck talking while the kids played games. The beach was walking distance. I would definitely rent again.

The home is very roomy. It was nice and clean. The host responded promptly. We did run into a little trouble with lights being off for over 5 hours, but not due to anything dealing with the owners. The best beach home I have rented thus far.

My family rented the property for a Thanksgiving getaway and it was absolutely perfect! There was plenty room for all of us, the kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed to prepare our meals and every corner of the home was SPOTLESS! The host considered every detail and she was great!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this house. Had a view of the water and ample space for our group. The kids LOVED sleeping and playing in the loft! Quick drive to a gravel parking lot with basically a private beach. Pool was a nice change of pace also. Owner was very responsive! Would definitely stay here again.

The house made our beach stay perfect! It was clean, plenty of room, towels and beds, and pet friendly. Nice neighborhood with gated area for our pup. The beach is a short drive away and we used the pool too.

Bernadette was more than accommodating and checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed. This house is the perfect size, location, and charm for a weekend Bachelorette party. The owner was available and friendly before and during our stay for questions, hurricane updates, and check out time. She also had a little surprise of decor for the bride that added to the charm of this house. Definitely would stay again!

I rented this place for my husband’s 25th surprise birthday weekend and we had a blast. Every couple (4) has their own bedroom. The living room and kitchen area areas accommodated us all without the space being too tight. The outdoor seating was perfect and you can catch a glimpse of the beach from the balcony. They had a ton of fun stuff for use in the garage and I loved the fenced in area With the fire pit for us to play horseshoes and cornhole. We mostly used the grill to cook our meals. There was an unforeseeable issue with the stove top and the host Bernadette was absolutely wonderful in accommodating us with brand new hot plates for us to cook with. The only thing I will say that is not a 10/10 was some of the fence has become detached and there are many exposed nails that you would need to be careful around. All in all, great experience and time spent with family. Again, the property manager Bernadette was a dream to work with. I’d love to stay here again!

We took a short trip to Galveston and decided to rent a home rather than risk a resort stay. This property was located 30 min west to Galveston in Terramar Beach. Since it was further away, we had the beach to ourselves. This property is on the bayside but it’s Literally a 2 minute drive to the beach. The amenities at the Honey Hole were prefect for us. 4 bedrooms with a loft. The kitchen was really well stocked with the right tools and utensils to cook and serve food. I highly recommend staying at The Honey Hole for your next trip to Galveston.

Great place for a summer getaway! The house was beautiful with all the comforts of home with the bonus of being on the beach. The rooms are plenty big with large comfortable beds and plenty of storage. Our kiddos loved the kids room and all ended up hanging out in there together. They also enjoyed all the old school video games and the huge variety provided. Being a cook, I was thrilled about the kitchen amenities and utensils and nice cutlery provided. This kitchen has everything you could need. The outdoor area is great for everyone to hang out. The neighbors were all very friendly which was great. Fishing off the marina was an easy walk and fun adventure as well. Would definitely recommend!! My family had a wonderful stay and will definitely be booking again!
