Location was good and being dog friendly and fenced well was very good. The lounge area got nice afternoon sun.

Seemed pretty tired with wall paper splitting and peeling in bedrooms.

Easy as

Easy Access. Just be careful not to lock yourself out when leaving the property. Back door might required maintenance. Appears to be damaged. Owners provided firewood which help on the cold nights.

Shower drain got blocked during stay. But owners were quick to get it fixed. Netflix account did not work. Barbeque caused a lot of flare ups as it was very dirty. Wood burner might need updating.

Great location, very clean and tidy. Plenty of heating options available and cottage was quick to warm up. Hosts very helpful and quick to reply to message prior to stay. Great base for a weekend in Twizel with the family.

No major problems or dislikes, just a couple of things we noticed. There didn’t appear to be any microwave safe dishes to use in the provided microwave when cooking. Was a little surprised at no electric blankets on the beds considering how cold it gets there in winter but as previously stated, plenty of heating options available to take the chill off the rooms so not a big deal.
