The instructions for arrival were detailed and helpfully so. It didn’t detract from the excitement of the drive though. You need a car big enough to tackle the terrain and small enough to fit the track! The house was spotless and very well equipped. There was a thoughtful welcome basket including wine and pasta. Care was needed with the upstairs rooms as they got quite hot and we struggled to cool them at night but the beds were excellent and there was a fan in each room. There were also bug screens on the shutters to allow windows to be open at night. The pool area was beautiful but quite a few biting beasties. There were plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sun or the shade. The bathrooms were nice and the living space generous. The only caution is it is very remote - which is great if you want peace and quiet but you can’t walk anywhere so lots of driving involved. Lucca Rafting was excellent - canyoning well worth it.

I stayed in the house with my family and grandparents. The house is spacious. We loved the living area. The pool was great. The bed- and bathrooms were neat and tidy. And what surprised us the most was how well equipped the kitchen was. If there was a minor point, than it was only the last part of the road. You need a good/big car to drive up here.
