So much space and so many rooms available to fit all the guests. There were some minor inconveniences, such as a sink that was under maintenance, and a shower faucet that took some time to figure out - but their service was incredible and immediate. This is a lovely, lovely historic home allowed all of us to spread out and have our own private areas. The bonus room on the first floor was perfect for the teenagers, and us adults enjoyed the formal living room. The covered outdoor porches were a nice addition to watch a thunderstorm blow through. We would absolutely book this place again. There are a few things that could improve the experience that are really just a maintenance checklist. The only reason why I am even posting it, is because the property owners and/or managers may simply not be aware. We were all given one set of bath linens per person. There were no closets with additional bed or bath linens in the event we might need them. There is a washer and dryer which was great , but a stocked linen closet would be more helpful. The two showers upstairs have poor water pressure. This could be a plumbing thing or maybe just maintenance to the fixtures. Full sized ironing boards, a stock of garbage can liners, and a checklist of the appliances to make sure they are in working condition (toaster in fist floor kitchen), could make the experience a little more like home. Maybe on the “what to expect” from your AirBnb could simply outline what is provided and what may patrons need to supply so that they can prepare ahead for their stay. Overall, this was splendid experience in a luxurious home, and these additional suggestions are only intended to amplify it!

A group of 6 college friends from 45 years ago enjoyed 4 days/3 nights in this magnificent Savannah home. The 5 bedrooms were huge, the bathrooms had great showers and were stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There were 2 kitchens which had every gadget you would ever need as well as plenty of plates, glasses, cups, etc. The furnished balconies and terrace were wonderful and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space. And the location was perfect. The most beautiful residential street in Savannah in walking distance to everything!! This was truly the best rental I’ve ever stayed at.

The JJ Dale House and its furnishings were integral to our wonderful Savannah experience. The furnishings are not only stunning, but delivered comfort in a quiet, harmonious setting with beautiful landscaping. We rented the entire home and guests were able to find their own place, variously on the balcony overlooking the courtyard, the courtyard, or the comfortable living room downstairs. The upstairs shower had a rain shower and hand attachment. We made good use of the chef's kitchen with multiple sinks, all the necessary gadgets (including a pancake griddle), well stocked with beautiful plates, serving dishes, wine glasses, and a cozy sitting area. We had no difficulty finding parking on the street!

The property is beautiful! The pictures do the home NO justice. Walking distance to dining and shopping! The only reason I cannot give 5 starts is due to the lack of hot water in 2 out of the 3 showers, the shower heads needing to be delimed to get the full effect and the bulbs leading to the garden level needing to be replaced. Other than that it was excellent for 6 women! I would highly recommend!

House is as beautiful as it appears in the pictures. Rooms were comfortable and spacious for our large party. Very conducive to large family get togethers with different areas for mingling and conversation. With our large group in the house, we needed extra dish towels, trash bags, hand/body soap, and extra towels. Otherwise it was perfection!

We had a lovely time staying at the JJ Dale House in Savannah! The house fit all our needs and was comfortable for our group of 10 women. Walking distance to almost everything. The house was so nice to come back to after exploring. Wish we had another day to enjoy it! Would return with a large group.

Prior to booking, I was concerned that the location was a little further from River Street than desired. However, this turned out to be an advantage. The property seems to be in the perfect "spot". The neighborhood was quiet and not heavily trafficked. The walk to the river and Forsyth park were quite easy. Perfect home, perfect location, perfect weekend!
