Location was perfect. Breakfast was superb with so much choice. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful.

The guest house was perfectly located and the breakfast are truly beautiful. You will not find better anywhere else. Looking forward to the next time I’m staying there. 

Hosts were fantastic and very informative and helpful. Great choice of breakfast catered for everyone with a lot of homemade products. The views from the room were outstanding. Couldn't of wished for a better stay.

Fantastic host, fabulous breakfast all locally made and sourced. Ensured we had somewhere planned to eat every evening and was happy to recommend and was interested in our experiences. Able to bring take aways back to the property and use the dining room. Extra tea and coffee provided. Really could not have done more.

Designated car spaces for guests on the harbour side too narrow for estate size cars/4x4s - beware of metal posts either side at front of the spaces - easy to scrape your car. Would park in a different car park next time.

The location was perfect. Park the car and not use it all weekend. The breakfast was lovely and plenty of food to choose from. We were given a very warm welcome. Our room was overlooking the harbour and was perfect.

There was nothing to improve on.

Matthew and Rosie were friendly, welcoming, and professional proprietors. Sampford Guest House is beautiful, spotlessly clean, with breathtaking views over the harbour, and the breakfast was the best I've ever had. Wow!!!

I couldn't find one fault at the Sampford, because everything was brilliant.

Matthew and Rosie are excellent hosts - friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The breakfasts were wonderful, with many choices available. It’s a very short walk to the centre of Brixham, but a much lovelier walk to Berry Head.

Our room was somewhat cramped although the view over the harbour was partial compensation - and we didn’t go to Brixham to spend a lot of time in a room anyway. The main road into Brixham being closed in both directions will be a pain for all for some time, it seems.
