We had a wonderful stay and loved Lake Como. The house had everything we needed and we were pleasantly surprised by how well equipped everything was, the host thought of everything. We cooked all of our meals and there were plenty of dishes and pots/pans, which is a rare find. The wifi worked well, the basic bikes were nice to have(for short distances), plenty of storage and there's laundry too. The place was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and not touristy. Lake Como is huge so it's close to the sights on the north and east side of the lake but a commute to other parts - plan accordingly.

We had an odd experience throwing away our compost at a site - someone seemed upset at us but we didn't understand Italian to know why, plus there was no dedicated bin for compost.

Clean, quiet, functional house in peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. Excellent wifi. The owner Daniela was very helpful and nice!

I liked the area a lot, quiet and cosy streets, traditional community and good fun exploring the area

A bit far from the town, shops and transport hubs if you don’t have your own transportation. Luckily the bikes provided compensated for this, we used them every day

I chose your house to rent because I liked the wood and stone details- I knew that this was an traditional old building … I also liked that there was a fireplace… plus I liked it that it wasn’t in the centre of town … in Belgium I work long hours and I live in the centre of the city (70,000 people) and I miss the quiet ! The communication with Antonio & Daniela was very good, Antonino is very open friendly person and great to chat to .

What I would advise is do not write you have bicycles … this gives a certain impression that they r in good condition! 🤣🙄 in Belgium the people r crazy 4 bikes ! We did amuse ourselves however 2x on your bicycles !!! A lot of laughing about hitting our knees on the chin ! unfortunately they aren’t safe or worth advertising to potential clients… I also bought new sheets and pillowcases… I forgot to buy new towels as I was in a hurry to catch the bus from the big shopping centre on the Sunday afternoon! I would recommend that you invest in new bed linen, towels , pillows, blankets, kitchen towels and a cover that is washable for the sofa …. Your studio has a lot of potential, I would improve the details and present a more cohesive package

The apartment is spacious, clean, in a cozy neighborhood (a bit further from the center, but closer to the mountain and hiking trails). The host was friendly and gave all the necessary information.

Lovely place to stay. Quiet yet within easy reach of the main town. Fantastic bar just down the Via Laghetto run by Alan who is a great host. Nice restaurants further down the same road at the other side of the railway line (subway crossing). There's a local train stop at Piona within a very short walking distance, but you may as well walk a little further and go to the main station in Colico. Daniela made it so easy for us to check in and obtain the keys and the place has everything one could want. Thank you Daniela!

There's nothing to dislike about the house. Easy to find, easy to get around, and everything we needed was there. What could there be to complain about? Nothing!

The apartment was clean cosy, the owner gave us a road trip around Colico - very nice guy. The presence of bikes was very important, thanks to them you can travel fast to the centre and to the beach. Very good spot for further trips to the Varenna and Bellagio. Lovely city with brilliant views on the lake and mountains. Comfortable bed and the rooms were very big as for two people. For sure I could recommend this place for a stay at the lake of Como.

We had our trip in September so mornings and evenings were quite cold in the apartment. The location to the centre and nearest shops was quite distant but not that difficult to achieve by bikes. The bikes themselves were convenient but in one the brakes weren't working properly.

Located in the less touristy northern part of Lake Como, the house is very close to a beautiful grass "beach" beside the lake. We didn't have a car, but the lake really is within walking distance, as is the local train station. Shops not so much so, but using one of the bikes provided I was able to get into town (Colico) in 10 minutes, back up the hill in about 20. We were there during a heatwave (38C), but our host Daniela had provided an aircon unit before we even arrived, and it probably saved our lives!

The pull out bed is not very comfortable and could do with an upgrade, It serves as the couch during the daytime, and provides the only comfortable seating, for two adults. Since there was four of us, a few more comfy seats would have been nice. The property is ideal for two adults with two children.
