Beautiful property and location. Enough to do at the barn for adults and kids. Our grandkids especially loved the chickens and visits from nearby deer. Plenty of space for all nine of us and could handle many more. Matt was great with communications.

We loved the Barn . Well laid out and very user friendly . very private . we were never bothered by anyone . we had a party of 14 and it worked prefect . Matt came by one evening to feed the chickens . I went down to meet him and what a great guy ! He even furnished complimentary firewood ! we are going back and I would highly recommend this stay to anyone . Matt Thanks again for your Hospitality

We had a family gathering with 14 people at this beautiful home. Matt was a gracious host. The property was exactly what we were looking for. Will stay here again for sure.

We came to Wisconsin from all over for a family reunion. We could not have picked a better place to stay. The kids and adults all loved it. Matt was an amazing host!

Out in the country this property offered peace and tranquillity. A short drive from the Dells, but there was plenty to do here for our grown children and their families. Our host saw to our every need and was always available to answer questions.

The property was beautiful and perfect for our family vacation. The barn itself is super cool with tons of amazing details on a big piece of land while still being close enough to head into the Dells for the day for more adventure. We plan on booking again here soon since everyone kids to grandparents had an amazing time.

What an amazing place, we just stayed at Bent Beam Barn and it was amazing! Matthew the host was even better than expected and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed over Christmas and had an amazing time! The Barn is laid out great and we all had plenty of room. The Milking Parlor is a blast and my favorite part, the loft w/bunk beds was awesome and the kids loved it! We will be back, we are just trying to figure out when, I would not hesitate to book with Matthew and his family again. Thanks Matthew for all that you did! Kevin

Loved it. Would go back in a minute. Close to the Dells, but nice to get away from town. Would be amazing in other seasons to enjoy more of the outdoors.

This rental was perfect for my family's stay! My husband and I brought our 4 married kids with their families. We absolutely loved the renovated barn's features and decor. The bedroom arrangements fit my family's needs just right. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and we loved the lower level with pool table and carpet ball. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location and rental for family get-together.

Me and my 13 other guests had a fantastic stay at the Bent Beam Barn. It's a beautiful property and was a very unique experience with plenty of room to spread out. The kids were entertained in the lower level playing pool and adults had a great time gathering for board games at the giant farmer's table. The only thing to mention is that noise travels and even quiet fun on the first floor was VERY audible in the rooms above. But we made it work! Overall a wonderful place for an large family gathering and a very welcoming host!

There has obviously been a lot of time, energy, and attention put into this property! You can tell the host cares about it and about the guests stay. He made sure we had plenty of wood for a fire and even left us the stuff to make s’mores. There is so much room and so many things to do on the property. It was a perfect place to take our retreat with a group of high school students. Definitely looking for a reason to go back!

We were a group of 16 adults and we enjoyed our stay. This place is amazing and has so much space for large groups.

This property is very nice, just for info sake, My Mom has parkinsons and in wheel chair. She could get in lower level, but very much a challenge to get her upstairs to main level. We did it with the 4 men we had, but just want people to know. We had a nice time! The kitchen and living area and outside deck were are favorites!

This is a really cool, unique place to stay. With it being a converted barn, the layout is really unique and it is filled with art and furniture made from old farm equipment, antique signs, etc (there are of course regular beds couches etc). The sleeping arrangements, given this layout, are unique and our kids and their cousins loved staying in the loft. There is a nice kitchen, large deck, and really cool eating and campfire area outside. The owner is very friendly, responsive and helpful if anything should come up. Highly recommend.

The Bent Barn is a wonderful property that more than fit the needs of our family of 8 adults and 8 children. Close to the Dells, golf, ball field and lake. The property was well cared for, beautiful. Has a large fire pit, garden, space for play, view of the lake and sunsets. We dined in the truck, deck and indoors was spacious. Basement was wonderful for kids & adults. Unique barn was so fun for all. From booking to departure we had a wonderful experience.

Great time staying at the Barn. My family enjoyed all of the space, both inside and out to relax and have fun. This property is beautiful and very unique. Had fun watching the wildlife as well, especially the cranes. We have stayed at many properties through the years and can honestly say “ The Bent Beam Barn is now the best of all”. Matt was a great host answering any inquiry immediately. Definitely worth returning for another stay, maybe fall or winter.

Our family spent the weekend at the barn and it exceeded our expectations! It was spacious enough for 10 adults and one child. There was plenty of space and privacy to relax and hang out. We took full advantage of the kayaks, too! Great, quiet lake, easy access. We hope to revisit someday! ☺️

My girls and I had the BEST experience this past weekend. The weather was perfect and the place had everything we needed. Matt was a great guy to work with and was super accommodating! Definitely hope to get back sometime!

This home is a one of the kind, everything they did to this property was very well thought out. It's as breathtaking in person as the pictures show online. Everyone in our party enjoyed their stay and would gladly come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at the barn!! The barn-house was extremely clean, well-stocked, beautiful, comfortable, and located in a very nice area next to the lake! Matt was an awesome host who went above and beyond to accommodate us. Any questions I sent him were quickly answered. We loved this place. We went ice fishing on the lake, kids had fun running around the property looking for animal tracks, and we warmed up outside around the fire pit while the kids roasted marshmallows. The house had plenty of space for our group. The loft is considered the 5th bedroom, which we didn’t really need but would be a fun place for kids if you aren’t too loud for someone to sleep up there. It was plenty warm for us and it had all the things we needed in the kitchen. One thing I would have liked was a curtain in the windows that join the two bedrooms and the one window looking out into the entryway. If someone turned a light on in one room, then both rooms got lit up. We covered it up with towels, so it wasn’t a big deal. I would definitely return. The place was very clean and the owner was very nice and accommodating.
