We stayed here with family after our wedding in Jefferson, NC. It was a beautiful getaway. There was something for everyone to do, we cooked every night and enjoyed relaxing on the porch, playing on the Nintendo, playing pool and watching movies. We took a chilly tube ride down the river and had a blast.

We loved having all of the windows in the cabin! We saw several deer during our stay. We had plenty of room to relax! The beds were very comfortable! I was disappointed that the Lazy Susan Taco dish on the dining table was dirty upon arrival. The table in the sun room needed to be wiped off as well. Cleaning service should have checked on that. I could not find any dish towels or dish rags in the cabinets. I could not find a whisk in the kitchen drawers.. There were lots of dishes, but we could not find large bowls, except for a silver bowl under the cabinet. The steps in the front were steep when going up and down, especially when carrying things! We really enjoyed the cabin, but the steep steps will be a deterring factor in the future, unless they could somehow fix a ramp.

A group of 7 different couples/friends some from south Florida. Cary NC and Pittsburgh PA all connected at this beautiful mountain cabin for several days of mountain fun. The concert and amazing Saloon Studios venue are what brought us together originally but the beautiful mountain cabin bonded us forever. Truly once in a lifetime experience. We can’t wait to return.

8 of us went and really enjoyed the cabin. It was located perfectly from all the places we wanted to go to. We will definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the outdoor deck areas-- beautiful views. Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Plenty of indoor entertainment options for the rainy day we had-- pool table, board games, movies. Loved the Christmas decorations! It was perfect for our long family weekend!

The property was good but when my daughter went to take a nap the King size bed in the bed room on the main floors slats were broken and we finally got someone out on Friday afternoon to come fix it, and the bathroom on the bottom floor looked as if someone had urinated in the shower floor so maybe it was just an off time for this one but we have never had a problem with any of the other rentals that we have rented thru VRBO .

This property is great for groups of friends or families. We loved our stay in this property.

Great house for our multigenerational family weekend. Convenient to West Jefferson and Boone and close to Railroad Grade Road and the New River.

Plenty of room for 12. Loved the large sun room with long table used for meals and Uno games. Taught the grandchildren to play pool and had family tournaments. Swift replies to queries. Very good experience overall!

This is a nice property for families with lots of room. We had rain, sleet, and snow on Friday night/Sunday a.m. which was concerning, but always a possibility this time of year. Finding and getting squared away to rent was easy and convenient. Housekeeping was just okay, though. The environment, though, was fresh and the linens were good. Beds are comfy. Never could figure out to work the heat In Bedrooms but they were comfortable even when temps dropped I. 20s. Thanks for making this another great family Christmas tree trip!

We absolutely loved staying here. The house was very clean, gorgeous, and beds were super comfortable. We were thrilled when we arrived and it was decorated for Christmas. We will return.

The house was great! So much room and the pool table got a lot of use, as it poured with rain for a full day! We brought everything we needed, so we didn't go out much. The walk down to the lake was great exercise!!!

The house was very roomy! Enough space for little ones to separate in the evenings from adult noises. We enjoyed feeding the fish in the lake.
