Room was up several sets of stairs. Room was bit smelly and the area outside the room very strong smell of fag smoke. Arrived at around 15.30 and the noise from the local pubs was loud outside,on the way to the room and in the room. Which continued till 3.30 am. Could feel the walls vibrate with the bass lines from the music.

The rave going on in the beer garden directly behind our room all day and all night till 2am.that wasn't mentioned in the description of location!

Perfect location!!! Close to plenty of pubs and restaurants great stay!!! Room was perfect, comfy bed, nice bathroom etc Also was a pleasure to see things we had left behind had been handed in, great honest people will be staying here again Thank you

Brilliant location, right in the centre, walking distance to everything. Easy entry with code and key safe.

It was tired and old, the quilt was thin, the bed hard, 1 thin pillow, no hair dryer. The landing stunk of smoke the towels and bedding did too. Carpets were dirty, cups dirty kettle needing descaling and the milk was off.

it was not very clean, I had to pay a £100 deposit before they let me in the property, and it was quite cold outside,

absolutely nothing it was completely miss sold. the so called deluxe family suite had one stained bed and one tatty chair there was holes in the walls lights were broken and hanging off bedding was stained and smelly towels were dirty. the apartment was completely filthy kitchen hob and utensils also dirty. good and drink down the walls skirting boards looked like they had had their own party with a tomato sauce bottle. Worst apartment I have ever been presented with and at the cost of £200!!!! plus the £100 damage deposit that I still haven’t got back!! DO NOT BOOK THIS

I wouldn’t know. I had no explanation as to what the arrangements were despite speaking to the host the previous week and being assured that the email sent about the £100 security deposit was a mistake if I’d paid in full which I had. they also told me they’d mark next to my name that I’d paid for the room in full and to disregard any other emails. I then turned up to get in my room, non the wiser that no one would be there and that I did actually need to pay this deposit so they could ‘release the room code’. After calling them in excess of 20 times, emailing and texting them with no reply prior to getting this new info, I’d panic booked another room which to my horror after the booking confirmation came through was the same company and same contact number. By this stage I felt that I was held over a barrel and it all felt very scammy. Im chasing for my money back given the disgusting lack of communication, mixed messages and poor conduct by the host and company which ultimately meant I had to return home and not attend my work event. Avoid them at all costs!!!!!!

the room was clean and lovely , location was fantastic

only fault for me was the only mirror was in the bathroom so I struggled with drying my hair and putting on makeup

Easy to access and ideal location.

I’ve been stopping here for a while and noted the level of cleanliness may have dropped slightly and things such as decor or damage is not being rectified, only small things. Didn’t look like the carpet had been hoovered and my room was directly above the DJ box in the pub below, I was going out so it didn’t bother me but may have bothered someone else, it wouldn’t stop me from booking again due to the value for money.

Room 7 was spacious added extra off having a kitchen which was a nice suprise , bed was comfy , nice and warm radiator , clean bedding , Property management was very helpful and quick replies . Would deffinately stay here again .

The only 1 small issue I had was no mirror in the room , there was 1 in the bathroom but it wasn't bright enough to put make up on , or couldn't see full length off ourselves once dressed up to go out . But this is just my opinion and wouldn't stop me from staying here again .

Beware giving a deposit to this place, the toilet and sink was blocked and they are putting the blame on us. I left room in spotless condition.

Clean accommodation with everything working. I deliberately chose this location because I wanted a comfortable chair for reading, and you just don't get these in the chain hotels. In the sense of the location feeling more like home it met by expectations.

My initial booking confirmations were confusing. One of them said that I would have to show ID and a debit card on arrival, but in a later telephone call that I initiated I was told that no-one would be there and that I would be sent access codes instead, and the earlier confirmation was just a standard "one size fits all" response. One booking email said that I would have to pay £100 deposit, but a later one said £50. On the day before arrival I still hadn't received the door-code instructions so I contacted CitySpace to be told that I hadn't paid the deposit yet, even though I had paid it a few days beforehand. This was resolved straightaway, but in every case it was me chasing things up instead of getting proactive communications from CitySpace. Consequently, the booking confirmations produced anxiety rather than reassurance. I was surprised to find that both of the bedside reading lamps had become detached from their mounts and were hanging on by the exposed wires alone. One was so loose that I couldn't change the position but the other one was still stiff enough to adjust. I didn't realise that the property was next to a pub, and on three of my six nights there was loud thudding rock music coming into the sitting room for many hours. Happily, it was much quieter in the bedroom, though I could hear people shouting and moving around in the adjacent alley and I was woken up many times by noises on the Friday and Saturday nights. The electricity failed on the Thursday night and I had to get ready for the day using my key-ring torch. Once I contacted CitySpace they dealt with this very quickly at around 8am on Friday morning.
