The beautiful location and the cosy cottage feel

Great location in vineyards, only 10 minutes to Roche Estate for concert. Cottage was well set up, lots of chopped wood, beautiful scenery, wildlife and the hosts could not have been more helpful. Definitely stay again when in the Hunter.
Nothing! Had a water leak from all the rain and the hosts were so prompt and accommodating.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful cottage I rented three times this year via Booking. The cottage's cleanliness, cozy warmth on cold winter nights, and the availability of firewood accompained by the well equipped chimney made each stay incredibly enjoyable. The beautiful surroundings and the kind and friendly care from Geoff, the manager, added so much to the experience. All of this at such a great price – it's been an amazing find! Thank you!

Great set up for families with plenty of firewood for indoor and outdoor fires. Good location, away from main road and surrounded by vines and wildlife.

Spacious, warm and comfortable house for a weekend getaway. Well located in very close proximity to a number of wineries. Loved the fireplace and the house was so well stocked with wood - this was a highlight and made the house so cosy and warm. Full kitchen was well provisioned to allow self catering and plenty of space for a family.
No contact with the host unless we called them, however they did respond very promptly when called and were very willing to provide assistance.

The property is away from the main road and in the middle of the vines. Beautiful winter morning with fog. The fireplace gave the stay a wonderful feel. The kitchen is well set up and beds are comfortable. It was quite cold so I requested extra blankets for the kids which were immediately brought to us by Geoff. Absolutely recommend.
With young kids, a washing machine would have been an added bonus but we didn’t stay long enough to need to do a wash. Not a dealbreaker :)

the place is BEAUTIFUL. we arrived and checked in easily. the cottage was spacious and cozy. more than a dozen kangaroos were just at the backyard watching us while we watching them. perfect place for big family or two during a visit to hunter.

The property is located on a very spacious winery - have plantations on the property land. There is ample space. The BBQ area is awesome - fully equipped and stocked with gas and firewood. There are Kangaroos on the property expansive land. Something kids and adults will like equally. Its very quite and serene.
Shower:
- Unpredictable hot water - the water turned cold during the shower and then turn back very hot again
- The water pressure in shower is really poor

Everything about the Cottage was great, it's exactly how it's described, staff were great and easy to deal with, chalet was a perfect size for our family, kids were excited to see the Kangaroo's up and close would definitely come back.

Cabin 3 was spacious, with plenty of room for 2 people and a dog! Not too far out from Pokolbin and very quiet.

The cottage was perfect for our family. The view from the cottage was amazing and super relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back for another stay whenever we plan to visit hunter next. Thanks to Geoff for being super nice and helpful 😊. Cheers ! VJ

Fantastic outlook from deck of cabin 2 to the vineyards and lake with frequent visits from birds and kangaroos. Sufficient supplies for our stay to cook a meal and relax. Milk & Juice on arrival was a nice touch. The hosts were friendly and able to offer local advice and were on hand should you need anything. There was a cold snap while there in December and the fire was set up ready to light with plenty of firewood. We would definitely stay again.

The convenience to all local wineries and breweries. The peaceful and picturesque setting, including kangaroos. Suited our family getaway and was dog friendly. Even had an open wood fire for added cuteness. Would highly recommend .
The outside of the property could've done with a clean, windows were pretty dirty, but otherwise neat and tidy. If you wanted to enhance the features of the property add WiFi and a hot tub but that may then take away from the tranquillity of the place.
