It was New Years eve so everywhere was noisy through the night. But I have stayed before and it was a quiet location

Very nice accommodation, great location and wonderful hosts. We stayed with a little baby and they would sometimes walk her around, so we felt really comfortable and relaxed on our stay there. They have WiFi, air-conditioning and TV in the room, just wonderful. It is not far from the beaches, with a short car ride. And about 15min to Kariakoo market. The host and workers are very welcoming and helpful, just ask.

The owner was very nice. I would recommend booking the hotel rooms instead of the studio.

We booked the studio but it didn’t suit our needs because it didn’t have Wi-Fi. So we ended up staying in the hotel which does have Wi-Fi.

very clean property . calm quiet area with lot of local small shops - you can buy anything for food . staff is very kind - Fidea (local front office manager) helped with everything what we needed or asked for .

The location was good for our requirements at the time Rita, one of the staff was kind enough to talk to us and assist us

1. Too many mosquitoes in the house and room 2. Poor communication from the management, the manager was not on the property and had not made arrangements with the receiving staff 3. Breakfast was not well arranged for 4. There was a problem with getting a receipt of payment 5. Poor attitude of the manager and staff. 6. Mishandling of the dogs, apparently they opened their own cage in the morning

The property is at a quiet location that is safe and in the more upscale side of Dar. Above all the food was one of the best I have ever had especially if you love swahili food i.e pilau , kuku [chicken] which of course we love as Kenyans. Above all the owner and hostess Fidea went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The pool was clean and lucky us it was mostly only us at the premises. It is budget friendly and also despite it not being at the beach which was not our main target, you will still be able to unwind and of course you can still have the beach experience by visiting mbundya and bongoyo islands [cash basis only.. keep in mind no swiping] that is a must must when visiting Dar not forgetting Wet n Wild water park. Heads up the location on google maps is not 100% accurate but close enough. I will visit again again that's for sure.

I can't say I have any complaints for sure but keep in mind this is not one of the mainstream beach hotels so keep your expectations low if that is the experience you seek, but value for money beats that 100%

Fidea and her team were very nice and helpful, they organised our transportation and cooked us early breakfast before our working day. Always smiling and kind. The rooms were clean and bed confortable. Wifi works very well even in the rooms. The pool is a nice addition to relax and refresh. The location was very convenient for us as we were working in Kunduchi.

Accomodating staff, good value and good breakfast.

Having to remind manager every two days to put credit for internet. Although they set up unlimited internet finally on our last day. Swimming pool was dirty in spite of their cleaning. So I also cleaned daily. Pool area generally was a death trap with ominous electric wires hanging above, sharp jagged edges, potentially fatal falling coconuts from trees, slippery pool tiles, broken jagged corroded umbrella holders. I guess health & safety not strictly enforced.

Fidea is just a wonderful hostess, doing everything she can to make your stay comfortable. The place is located in a quiet area of Dar Es Salaam and very suitable for families with children because of the garden and the pool. The rooms are superclean and the staff is very helpful. A nice little secret for those who seek peace and quiet while staying in a big city.

The place were peaceful during the day. The meals were delicious. The room was spacious and perfect to relax with a balcony nearby. The indispensable AC worked well. Special thanks to Fidea who was very kind and helpful for us.

During the night we heard dogs from the neighborhood barking. The pool could be more clean.

Very friendly staff, nice setting, good price and they were quite accommodating for some specific requests. Bed was comfortable with mosquito netting and the air conditioning a life-saver. Television in the room, and you're able to buy water etc. on site. Made contact immediately to ensure we knew how to get there, and ended up coming to meet us to guide us back.

Mosquito spray was rather strong after the room had been cleaned, so we both had to leave in a hurry as we were struggling to breathe. The bathroom was extremely small, so an average-sized adult couldn't actually sit straight on the toilet. Bed was rather rickety and the mosquito netting smaller than than bed - would have been fine for a single person of less than average height.

The double room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The food was great.

BBQ lounge is nicely located and has enough equipments to become a good one (pool & garden). Unfortunately, the management is very poor to not say disastrous. No care about customers, frequent disruption of water, daily disruptions of WIFI connexion, no restaurant proper services.... Pity, the place desserves much better and probably a real hotel manager

My stay was simply wonderful. The place is quiet, private and very homely, a home away from home. Fidea and her team are the best. They arranged for my pick up and were available each time I needed help. The meals and everything exceeded my expectation. I hirely recommend this place to anyone visiting Dar es Salaam! Asanteni! I will definitely see you again next year 💕

Nice big old house in good condition, with large courtyards and pool. Staff is excellent and serve a good breakfast. I will like to stay here again.

A little difficult to find, but, when you see the sign, "Fresh Lounge", STOP. You have arrived.

We only stayed for one night and left early morning for our safari tour. Since we left early we didn’t had the chance to try the breakfast. However, we had the chance to try Fridea‘s home cooked dinner. Highly recommended!! Very delicious!! Thanks, Fridea! The rooms are basic and clean.
