2 minute walk to the beach. Cozy little place with a backyard my kids enjoyed.

The house perfect for our needs. We could walk to the beach or downtown in just a few minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

Convienent, clean and quiet (even with the train so close). More like a old fashion cottage but had everything we needed. Clean backyard and patio made for a nice dinner setting and relaxing evenings.

A great place to stay near the beach and downtown in St. Joseph. Fenced property backs up to the tracks, only basic satellite channels and wifi is low bandwidth, but those were only downsides if that matters to you. We would recommend this house to anyone.

I want to start off by saying this a great property and we enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless when we arrived (a must when traveling with a 1 year old that is always on the floor). The listing accurately denotes all amenities and the house is well appointed with everything you might need. The house is very close to the beach and a pizza restaurant. I did want to share the information below for people traveling with young children for awareness only. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and 1 with 2 queen beds. The one with 2 queen beds is on the ground floor while the one with 1 queen bed is upstairs. We have a 1 and 4 year old so it wasn't ideal to leave the children downstairs while we were upstairs. We figured it out but it was not the best floor plan for our family. Also, the house is in a great location. If you haven't been to St. Joseph you may not be aware that the beach is at the bottom of a huge hill and most the of the restaurants are up at the top of the hill. The house is located at the bottom of the hill near the beach. If you plan to walk, which is doable, you will need to cart children up the hill for meals if you plan to eat out. I got a work out pushing the stroller up the hill 3 times a day.

Excellent location with plenty of room to rest. The place was amazingly clean. Loved the fenced in yard, little dishwasher, and the ability to walk anywhere nearby.

Convenient lodging for a summer vacation. Walk to beach, shops and restaurants . Quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed using the wagon for taking our Granddaughter to the splash pad and to the beach. It was a hot week but the air conditioning kept us cool. We would love to come back in the future.

This house was just as reviewed by other travelers. It felt clean as soon as we walked in the door. The house was well supplied for our stay. Communication with the hosts was timely and thorough. Great location; 5 minute walk to the beach and the downtown area. Can’t recommend it enough. This was our second year vacationing in St Joe, and this was a much better stay than our other rental experience.

This house was in a great location. We could walk anywhere. It was very, very clean. The beds were comfortable. Our only wish was that they had a hair dryer there. All in all it was a good place to stay and explore Saint Joseph.

Great quaint house for a long weekend. Easy walking distance to town and the beach. Even For my 3 children. May feel small if staying with a family of 5 for a full week but perfect for a weekend when not doing a lot of cooking and dining at home.

Property was acceptable in most categories (Space/Location/Checkin procedures), however missed the mark in others. Would not return next year. Skimped too much for this price point. Old noisy(air conditioner) or awkward appliances. Unusable cutlery. No hairdryer. No towels for bathing. The worst part was I was not given enough notice in advance that I needed to bring towels and there is literally no where to buy bath towels nearby.

This house was the best location! Wal to Silver beach, downtown, all the trail- it was amazing. House is quaint, but fully workable. The loft got a little warm at times, but the master has a window AC unit.

We had a great week at this property with 2 adults and 2 pre schoolers. Property is super close to the splash pad, downtown St. Joes as well as Silver and Lions Beach. Off street parking was very convenient for loading/unloading and our favorite part was probably the large private yard where the kids could play while we grilled and ate on the patio. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to be walking distance from all this area has to offer!

Our family with all adult children stayed for a week in July. The location is terrific and the house was set up perfect for the five of us. Well stocked kitchen, great backyard, and clean.

My family truly loved our stay here! The house was exactly as expected from the listing. The location was perfect, as we were just a few minutes' walk to the beach, splash pad, and downtown. Allan's communication was always timely and helpful. I would definitely recommend this home for other families looking to enjoy some time on the beach and in downtown St. Joseph!

Good location a short walk from a couple of beaches and from the town.

Fantastic location and plenty of space for my family of four. Some furniture and property are aging a little, but it was generally clean and everything worked fine. I would recommend this rental to friends and family. Communication was quick when we had a couple of questions.

This was a terrific place to stay - very clean, quiet and easy. The big back yard was a plus - we ate outside every day.

It was a wonderful place to relax. Walking distance to downtown or the beach. The house was easy to live in, nice table for card playing, geat beds for sleeping and a couch for evening reading. The privcacy of the sitting area out back was ideal for late night talks with my children. It was a wonderful week with my family.

Such cute cottage! It was perfect for our girls weekend and a short to walk to the water and shopping!

We enjoyed staying in this cute and quaint cottage during a girls/moms weekend getaway. The home is within close walking distance to the beach and just a few blocks from downtown, so about a 10 minute walk to shopping and restaurants. There are active train tracks behind the property, but it did not bother us during the stay. We loved the area and had a wonderful weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The beach, downtown shopping and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. With the Amtrak station nearby one could venture into downtown Chicago without using a car. Larger stores such as Meijer, Walmart, JC Pennys and well known nation-wide restaurants are within short driving distances. I highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone who wants to get away from the daily routines and still would like to have access to modern conveniences when needed. I do have a suggestion for improvement. I wish the garage could be used by the guests. This would have prevented one of our cars parking in the driveway with its tail-end sticking out into the street. A more careful checking of the lights before the guests' arrival would be appreciated. The lights in the back room and by the front and back doors did not come on at all. It could be due to a non-working switch or a burned out light bulb.

This was a perfect stay. The house is a great quaint beach house. Super clean and perfect for a beach getaway. This should be your choice over any hotel in the area. Great memories were created here.

WOW! What a pleasant and relaxing stay. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and well maintained. Perfect for the kids (big and small) with the beach, carousel and shopping within walking distance. Plenty activities offered in town and local area. We enjoyed going to the theatre, seeing a concert and visiting a local winery. The fall colors were absolutely beautiful - we will be back.

Awesome place for a quick fall getaway! We stayed with another couple for a winery weekend. Very close to a dozen wineries, 10 minute drive to many from the house. Cute backyard with enough room to set up a nice sized outdoor picnic with friends in the summer.

The home was exceptionally clean with spacious room accommodations, and is further complimented with a large private fenced in back yard with a Bar-B-Q, providing additional outdoor fun. It is conveniently located between Silver Beach and downtown St. Joseph where quality specialty stores, pubs, restaurants, kids museum and carousal are available within walking distance. Throughout the spring and summer seasons, outdoor concerts are scheduled at the Shadowland Pavilion along with Art, Car, and Antique Fairs on the Bluff for added enjoyment. The house is a perfect getaway, and we highly recommend it to anyone. We are so looking forward to next year's visit.

We recently rented this house just off Silver Beach for a winter weekend getaway, and it was perfect! This house is supper cute and really clean. It slept our group of four couples very comfortably, and the rental process was super easy. St. Joe is normally our summer destination spot, but we'd thought we try it this December...we couldn't believe how many activities going on that weekend! Friday night there were live manikins in the storefront windows, and the annual light up the bluff festival was going on. Saturday was an adorable dog parade and we also went on a winery tour. It was wonderful. This house was in the perfect location for it all. We'll definitely rent this again!

This house is perfect! One block off silver beach and an enjoyable walk to and from. The rooms are a nice size and the home is spacious - even for kids. There is a great size back yard with plenty of room for outdoor BBQ activities. The property managers are very generous with everything to make you feel comfortable! We had some rain during our week and the house was so conveniently close to the downtown area including the children's museum, restaurants, and shops! We would recommend this to anyone!!
