Quaint older home with basic amenities. Easy downtown/restaurant and beach access.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kismet Cottage! My family of 4 stayed for a week and felt right at home. The location is great for being outside of the busyness of main street but close enough to walk to restaurants and what St. Joes has to offer. The cottage is quaint and met our needs as a home base. Check in was easy and the house was very tidy and clean. Thanks Cindy for creating such a great place to stay!

We stayed for a week at Kismet Cottage. The location is very convenient for trips to the beach and downtown shopping. The home is older, but it was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the owner responded quickly to questions. We hope to visit again soon.

Cindy's property is exactly what we were looking for to spend our time in St Joe. The house is walkable to downtown and the beach and easy to park at the house in a quiet residential neighborhood. When we arrived, we felt immediately at home. The property is clean and well stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry to support our busy family throughout the week. We loved the games, puzzles, books, Smart TV, and all of the menus, and local information. Cindy is very easy to access before and during the stay. She personally reached out to me multiple times prior to arrival to keep us well informed of arrival process, parking, information about the home, and inquiring about our interests to help identify what local events may interest us. We would stay at Cindys property again and would recommend to our friends!

Enjoyed a girls trip to St. Joseph and four of us stayed at Cindy's cottage. It was very clean and aside from having to bring our own bath towels and hair dryer, it had everything we needed. It is literally just blocks away from everything so we didn't need our car at all and walked to the beach, shops, and many restaurants. Cindy shared some great restaurant recommendations and was right about all of them. We also enjoyed walking through her store in town. We were out and about for most of our trip and didn't get to spend too much time at the cottage, but it was a great stay.

Comfortable Cottage within walking distance to many Saint Joseph attractions.

Overall the Kizmet Cottage was a great place to stay to walk to everything St. Joe has to offer. The owner called in advance to walk us through the check-in process and give us tips on what to do in the area. This is a great place to go for a family trip, the kids had a blast, from going to the beach and the splash pad to visiting farms in the area for berry and peach picking. Everything was either a short walk away or a quick drive.

Staying at Cindy’s was fantastic! She provides everything you need and more. Great location and walking distance to everything. Definitely plan on making another trip!

The five of us (4 adults and a 5yo) enjoyed our stay in this St. Joseph home. Plenty of room to spread out with 3 bedrooms and a nice living room and roomy screened porch. Great water pressure for showers! Guests with young kids (like us) might be aware that there are lots of little "busy finger" temptations around the home (knick-knacks, tassels, drawers and doors) that required close supervision. A few toys, selection of games and some kid books were a plus. We loved the location - a 5 minute walk to the fun, touristy downtown with shops and dining and ice cream and a 10 minute walk to the splash fountain, kid's center and beach. The parking pass for Silver Beach was a very considerate inclusion in the welcome packet. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Cindys house. We were in town for a wedding and the location was perfect for us, walkable to everything we needed. Cozy house, comfy living room and nice screened in porch. Perfect for our group (3 couples). Chatting with Cindy ahead of our stay for check in, she was helpful with St Joe suggestions and notes on the house. The technology amenities are not updated (still large box TVs) but the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked well with anything we needed.

We stayed for 2 nights at the house. It was perfect for our purposes. House was clean and well stocked. Easy access to downtown and close to the marina. We went out with Big Bird Charters and caught our limit on Lake Trout. Property owner was great and very responsive.

We spent a week at Kismet & found the pictures on the posting didnt do it justice ! Very cozy, colorful, well stocked, clean and inviting. We were able to be close, play a board game & completely unplug - and still give each other space (when one of us became too annoying!) The location was perfect, a few blocks from shopping and beautiful walks along the lake, and short walk from the train station (husband came from work in the city, a day later) Five minute drive north of a beautiful river view park for trail walking. Owners gave great recommendations for local restaurants (which were on target) - but more importantly, they were very communicative and ensured COVID cleanliness & standards. A wonderful stay and we have added this to our travel list of places to stay when in Michigan again!

The house is within walking distance to downtown and the beach! Cindy (the owner) is awesome and recommended some great restaurants. The house is clean and provided everything we needed for a perfect getaway!

We had a great time at the property! Everything was very clean and well organized. The check-in process was smooth and the owner had a great writeup that was clear on where things were at, what was expected at check-out, etc. The location was VERY close to everything we wanted to do and was close enough to I-94 that our departure was a breeze. There was ample space for our party and I'd highly recommend this location to anyone!
