My husband and some friends stayed here for a few nights. The place was very tidy and had everything we needed. Rules and instructions on how to operate everything were very clear. We didn’t need to contact the host because everything was so well organized. I would definitely stay here again!

This VRBO property was a comfortable home for us: a mom and 15-year-old twins, each with a travel friend. There were 4 separate bedrooms, and the living room sofa was available for a fifth person. It’s nicely updated and furnished. There are sleek and easy-to-use blinds for privacy. The yard is beautifully landscaped with drought-tolerant plants. The kitchen is well-supplied. Beds are quite comfortable, but the 4th bed in the small bedroom off the living room was very LOW (on the floor) and had uneven hardness (was suitable for a young teen). The main dining table was nice and big, but it feels slightly too large for the space it is in (had to be careful not to scrape the chairs on the richly colored accent wall). We decided to drape a towel over the back of the chair to minimize the chances of damaging the wall. The host is very available and is a good communicator. Sends clear instructions on house rules and provides a handy house manual. The home feels like an oasis from the outside world, encircled and shielded by greenery. Has a cute entry gate and feels safe and secure. The AC worked well. This property has great curb appeal (best-looking property on the street). Note there is only street parking. Good home base - we’d likely stay here again if available.

The house was perfect place! It was decorated very nicely and very spacious. The backyard and patio was decorated equally as well. It had everything we needed and it was very close to the attractions LA had to offer. The host was excellent and very accommodating. Check-in process was easy. I highly recommend this place!

My parents, brother and I stayed here three nights visiting family in the area. We absolutely loved this house. It is just so charming, super-clean, and has gorgeous landscaping, and a great backyard. Also was equipped with some kitchen and bath essentials (olive oil, shampoo, etc.) - which is always helpful… not to mention some biscotti and Prosecco, which was a nice touch. Silvia was always ahead of us with all the details we needed for the trip, and check-in and check-out were breezy. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the home. Very private and inviting. Everything we needed was there. Our family enjoyed meals in the dining area together. The kids loved playing in the back yard. We hope to stay again in the future. Although a few homes on the block are unkept...we felt safe and the neighborhood was quiet 🤫

Great overall experience!

My husband and I booked a last minute trip for our honeymoon to LA . The home looked just like the pictures. The backyard was nicely set up with a sitting area and I loved the layout of the closed in patio for dining. Neighborhood was quiet although I was a little sketchy having a back alley way behind the backyard since the neighborhood did seem a little sketchy. But we didn’t mind too much since the house is pretty closed in so you do have a lot privacy. The street clean ups was the only thing we really had to worry about, which the owners did inform us to read the signs. We didn’t really use much of the rooms there since we were busy exploring LA almost everyday. Overall the home was nice and would accommodate a small group.

This property was the perfect place to stay for our family with 3 teens while exploring the Hollywood area. The house is spacious, bright, and decorated very stylishly. The neighborhood was a little shocking at first, but we realized quickly that as Sylvia said it is an older, quiet neighborhood. Do not expect to find restaurants close to the house or to walk the neighborhood. The beds are all very comfortable, there is access to stream from your accounts, there is a wireless printer available and a washer and dryer, a huge plus! We enjoyed making dinner there in the well appointed kitchen and eating dinner in the beautiful dining room. The outdoor spaces were very nice, our family enjoyed spreading out and resting in the late afternoon after busy days. The house is about 10 min from Universal Studios, 10 minutes from the Hollywood/Burbank airport, but a good 15-20 min drive to Hollywood and Highland or other West Hollywood attractions. Sylvia was an excellent host. She was very responsive, professional, and we really appreciated the home manual with information on the area and suggestions for restaurants/fun things to do in the area. Barney’s Beanery was a fun lunch spot! My only suggestion would be to have a good deep spring cleaning done as the baseboards/door jams/utensil drawers could use a good cleaning. All surfaces and furniture were clean and in excellent condition. The fire pit was not there, we were a bit disappointed about that. The hammock made up for that for me as well as the bench on the front porch. All in all I would choose this home again as it was super cute, spacious, and convenient for our family during our stay in Hollywood!

This house in a sketchy neighborhood, with people roaming the streets at all hours of the day and night. There is no lock on the front gate or the back gate and the home would be very easy to break into. There's an elaborate security/video system, but guests aren't allowed to use it (only the hosts are allowed to be safe, apparently). During our stay, I needed the host's assistance urgently and called her 20 times with no answer. She didn't even call me back. I definitely do not recommend this house or host.

Great location clean and quiet.

Loved the house. Met all of our needs for moving our daughter into university ( USC). Our first time in Los Angeles so no sense of the neighborhoods. This was a quiet spot, though lots of driving to downtown. Host was excellent!

We had a very pleasant stay during our family trip to LA. This place is near Hollywood and very convenient to the nearby attractions including Universal, LA Zoo and museums. Sylvia is such a good host and was very responsive throughout the check-in process. The house is well appointed and is very tastefully decorated. In fact, we pinged Sylvia to get details of the furniture in the house as we found them stylish, functional and comfortable. We would definitely consider this place for our visits to LA.

The place is very nice and super clear. The house is actually bigger than pictures show. There is a really nice backyard, and it feels super secluded and private The kitchen and bathroom are very clean. We really loved our time there.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Silvia’s house. I stayed with my two kids and husband and we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the beautiful mid century furniture and deco. Silvia was very helpful and answered all my questions in a timely manner. We will definitely come back :)

My family and I had a great time at this property ! The owner had a manual in the living room thats described where everything was/how the electronics worked- very helpful! The apartment was also very clean and felt like home.

really quiet neighborhood, beautiful house will stay here again

I spent almost one week at this location with my family (two kids, 7yr and 9yr). The house is spotless, very welcoming and comfortable. Every single detail has been chosen with taste, from the lighting to the color palette of the accessories. A very bright and charming house with a lovely front yard and a green back area with a patio where to eat outside or just relax. The privacy from the street (quiet) is assured by a green fence. Silvia has been accurate, quick and detailed in her replies, very gentle and helpful.

We enjoyed our weekend stay. Very cute and well-decorated home, with great outdoor space that was very peaceful.

Awesome outdoor area bbq grill, firepit and garden lights made outdoor setting great. Dining area and common areas were also really spacious and relaxing.Family KNOCKED out on the beds, commenting on linens and mattress :) I would also agree it was better than your average airbnb bed.Definitey nicest house on the block, would be back!
