Nice place in a great location. Perfect view of the ocean with friendly iguanas to see every morning. Loved the heated dipping pool, but the only negative thing I have to say is that I had to be persistent with property manager to get it turned on. Otherwise it was a perfect stay!

Property was great! Enjoyed 6 days of relaxing, beautiful views and touring the island in the golf cart. Many restaurants to chose from within walking distance as well. Will definitely come again!

We had a lovely time at Casa Perla for our 4th trip to Isla! I would give the property 4.5 stars. The location with the ocean backdrop and in the local neighborhood was fantastic. So many local gems to eat, just stay away from the gringo hangouts and youll save a lot of money and get more authentic mexican food. Chile y Maiz was our favorite. The home is just a few blocks from the large Chedraui which made schlepping groceries easy. Its a 2.5 mile walk to North Beach, which our family did about 8x. I think we clocked over 30 miles in 14 days (kids are 7, 5 and 1) and this is centrally located and we felt very safe. A few things that would help would be to have pantry items, there were no basics including salt/pepper, etc. There were coffee filters and thats about it! Its a pain to have to go to the Chedraui for salt/pepper/spices and other basics when you are only on the island for a short time. The neighborhood barking dogs were quite the pain but im not sure what can be done about this, as previous reviews have mentioned. The pools were great for the kids and loungers on the deck were very comfy. The tiles inside the home get VERY slippery and my baby had a difficult time walking without falling so just beware. Do not let your kids go out the side entrance, there is a 25 foot cliff drop with no barrier. The housekeeper Rosie was lovely. Also note there is no washer/dryer on site for guests to use, so a place to hang dry laundry we washed would have been helpful.

From start to finish, this property was everything we wanted and needed. Great location! Centrally located. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the north end, but close enough to get to everything on either end when we wanted to.

We have stayed on the island Any times. Nothing beats the view we had there. We will probably stay there again. It did take us a night to get used to roof dog. After we figured out to use sound machines to drowned him out our stay was better.

Location is on a nice quiet road off the main hustle and bustle. House is super clean and the people respond very quickly and the location is in the middle of the island which is convenient for getting anywhere so I would rent a cart.

Impressive backyard. Loved the location. Put us in the heart of what mattered and the food was insane throughout the surrounding neighborhoods. Dogs were amazing and so sweet..everything about this place is grand!

Where do l start ,since the moment you walk in the house feels welcoming ,clean inviting,and the VIEW of the ocean wow ,dipping pool to cool off close to many Restaurants and grocery store we stay 5 nights and we enjoy every second of it highly recommend this place ,host always there answering any concerns or questions,cleaning lady did an amazing job .5 stars

My wife and I and our two adult daughters were in Isla for the wedding of one of our dearest friend's daughter who is also very close with our two girls. We wanted a place where we could relax, view the Caribbean and not be too far away from the wedding festivities and Casa Perla fit the bill extremely well. The view was spectacular, the neighborhood was quiet (my wife and daughters heard the occasional dogs barking, but I did not, and I'm normally a light sleeper). They didn't keep anyone awake, however, and we truly enjoyed them overlooking the street between their house and CP. We even dubbed them our "security detail". Good local restaurants (Caribbean Garden, Cafe Mango, Rosa Sirena's are all very good), and 42 Coffee & Bistro has great coffee. We also found North Garden (in the northern part of the island) to be very good and reasonably priced as well. The "book of everything" notebook in Casa Perla proved to be invaluable! My wife and I chose the bedroom with the ensuite bathroom, and the space in there is somewhat tight, and the bedroom doesn't have a closet but a wardrobe instead. Certainly not a deal breaker, just a word to be on the lookout to avoid a surprise. Casa Perla was lovely and served our needs exceptionally well.

We are a group of 4 friends taking our yearly vacation together. We spent 3 nights in this wonderful place! The views were amazing and we loved every minute! Our favorite eating was Mangos and was within walking distance. Owner arranged a golf cart rental and pickup from the ferry which is a huge help. So many beautiful things to see and loved the Playa Norte beach! We will be back!

Pros: amazing views of ocean. Netflix on TV. Spacious bathroom. Fantastic restaurant right around the corner. Concierge staff excellent. Cons: rooftop dogs next door and across the street started barking at 9 pm and didn’t let up until about 2:00 am. Random knocking on the bedroom windows in the middle of the night. Back terrace is open to anyone who wants to walk back there, and we had 2 random men back there.

I couldn’t have enjoyed it more! I am so glad we opted for a pool on the patio because we spent hours each day staring out at the Caribbean from the small heated dipping pool. Marla was very responsive when the pool wasn’t warm and a maintenance man was there within 15 minutes to make sure it was turned on, we had no problems after that. There were several wonderful restaurants within a block or two from the property. The apartment itself was very well appointed, and had all the extras we needed. There was even a guide to the property and the neighborhood that made it very easy to get around.

Loved this property! Very clean and comfortable - amazing ocean breezes and view. The patio is terrific too. Such an interesting neighborhood. Decent walk to Chedraui supermarket or an easy golf cart drive. Cash is king here, the atm's at Chedraui worked fine with our regular debit card. No problems. Check out Caribbean Garden at end of street. Fantastic breakfast! We all loved Zama beach club and of course Playa Norte. Loved the Sunset Grill sunset cruise too. Very nice! Night walking is never dull and we all felt safe. Star gazing is a must - we had several clear nights. Beds and bedding; very comfortable as well.

This is your place if you want to escape the busy part of the isla. You can get to this place from the port within 15 minutes. We rented a golf cart for 2 days and we found it to be super worth it when trying to get to and from play norte. You also are equidistant to punta sur (recommend you check out both). There are great food/cafe options very quick walks from the place. 5/5 would stay again !

Casa Perla was the perfect size for our family of four with two boys -19 & 17. The house was super clean. The beach towels were helpful. The two bathrooms were perfect. Hot water, toilets with flushable paper which is unique for the island. All four of us enjoy comfortable beds and a good sleep and these beds knocked us out. Soft and cozy. The neighborhood has multiple dogs that once one barks they all bark. They live on their roofs at night. We chose to think of it as part of the appeal but they do bark so know that. You can walk to so many restaurants and the new shopping “mall” to have coffee in the morning. We enjoyed chilling all over the property after the beach and before dinner. I do recommend this place for an ice mid island retreat.

Things could not have been better during our stay at Casa Perla! We have been to Isla many times, and this time was our smoothest stay yet. From the ease of check in to the cleanliness of the home and pools and the incredibly comfortable beds, we loved every minute of our time at the home. The heated rooftop pool was a highlight, as was the housekeeping staff, who did a fantastic job keeping the place neat as a pin. The neighborhood dogs do a great job patrolling the neighborhood with their barking, but we chose to embrace their sweetness and just up the white noise at bedtime. Spending every morning with a cup of coffee on the patio watching the waves and sunrise cannot be beat. Overall, a superb stay in our favorite neighborhood on the island.

We had an amazing time at this property. The views from the balcony and rooftop were amazing. I stayed here with 2 others, but this unit could’ve easily accommodated a group twice our size. Walking distance to some amazing local restaurants. The host/property manager was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Thanks so much!

We loved staying at Casa Perla! It was in the perfect mid-island location near top rated restaurants and bars and away from the noise of the north. The view from the private pool was stunning. Beds were comfortable, and AC was sufficient. The only downside is the neighbors dogs barking as you go to bed and in the morning. We didn’t have them wake us up in the middle of the night, so not too bad. I took ear plugs and was just fine. A short walk to catch a taxi anytime to go to the beach or town.

So glad we found this location for our stay in Isla Mujeres! It was a good location and just a short golf cart ride to everywhere we wanted to go. The only issue was the dogs barking all night across the street (nothing you can do about that though). We never had to get in contact with the property manager during our stay, everything was in the information binder provided in the condo. Definitely recommend! FYI *pictures are deceiving because the blue tile in the pool is not there anymore, it is white so we were a little surprised when we got there.

The property was wonderful! The weather was awful 😞….. but Casa Perla was the perfect home to be in during the never ending rain. Close to (2 minute golf cart ride)Awesome restaurants and a spa! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again❤️

Four of us, friends/family stayed in Suite One. It was clean, spacious, and had all the creature comforts~ Beautiful views, love the breeze😀 The heated pool was a plus~ it was great watching the stars while in a pool that was warmer than a bathtub! Beds were comfortable, A/C was cool. I enjoyed the tub one evening (don’t see them often in Mexico). We had neighbors on 2nd and 3rd floor but we never saw them! The build of the house was ingenious. We will definitely be back 😀

Casa was lovely and clean, comfy beds and accommodations. Perfect veranda for sunrise coffee and relaxing to the sounds of the surf. Only downside was the neighbors' dogs barking overnight. renting a golf cart to see the island & Punta Sur is a must!

Great property. Communication with the manager was easy. Was able to drop our luggage off prior to check in. Property was very clean. We enjoyed the views and the hot tub outside. This is a very nice property and convenient to get to, hence, the 5 star rating. However, if you are a light sleeper - the dogs barking at all hours of the night might be a nuisance. Nothing a nap on the beach couldn’t help with.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights, before 4 nights in Playa del Carmen, and absolutely loved it...wish we had stayed longer! The view of the ocean from the deck and pool was amazing. We planned to spend more time in town and around the island, but ended up shortening those trips to spend more time at Casa Perla. An unexpected surprise was the sound of the crashing waves...so mesmerizing and relaxing. Location was great, a bit removed from the main hustle and bustle, but an easy trip to anywhere on the island. The place was well maintained and very clean...no issues there. When we booked, we got a list of contacts for various things and we used those to have the unit stocked with drinks as well as arranging a golf cart. Both were done very easily and as stated. Julio with the golf cart company was extremely accommodating...meeting us at the house for pick up and at the ferry terminal for drop-off. We did have some barking dog issues one night, but that seems to be somewhat common on the island and had nothing to do with Casa Perla. This was out first trip to Isla Mujeres and we'll definitely be back to the island and Casa Perla.

Was very clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Would recommend adding pics of the 2nd bathroom to clear up confusion that a 2nd one exists. Overall though it was great and we plan to book again.

Pros - We had a brief 1 night stay before moving to another rental as scheduled. Check-in was a breeze and they accommodated early check-in. The house was very clean, well equipped kitchen, & very organized. Cons - in both bedrooms there's an electrical box that buzzes all of the time. It's loud and difficult to sleep if you're a lite sleeper. The TV would not connect to the internet despite follow the on instructions. Housekeeping seemed pushy and arrived 20 mins before checkout. Overall, it's a nice rental if you're on a budget.
