The staff are very welcoming and super friendly and helpful , it was a very nice spacious and cosy and well presented room , the evening dinner was exceptional 👌 and so was the morning breakfast , its a place I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area 😀

Had to wait a long time on Saturday night to get a drink at the bar, because they were busy. Otherwise, pretty much spot on.

We booked very last minute without time for any of the usual research. What a find, everything about The Tickled Trout was exceptional from check-in to check out. The Inn is situated in a lovely, quiet rural village and has ample parking. The selection of beers is extensive, and likewise, the food menu has something for everyone. Both dinner and breakfast were fabulous.

There is nothing about The Tickled Trout that we didn't like, and we hope to return to stay again later this year.

The room was very comfortable with a spacious balcony and beautiful bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were very tasty. Lovely walks with our dog in stunning countryside.

We booked an evening meal too. The menu was interesting and varied - it was almost to hard to choose. The food we had was fabulous - if we didn’t live so far away we would go back regularly. The staff offered a fantastic Yorkshire welcome. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom huge and supplied with everything you needed. Our breakfast was of similar quality to the previous evenings meal. It was a lucky find and we would definitely return if we were up that way in the future.

we stayed for one night early April. The whole experience was great, the atmosphere of the Inn is very welcoming & the staff are all friendly & very efficient. our evening meal was delicious & our breakfast was superb! The room was immaculately clean & very comfortable! we will definitely recommend & most certainly return! thank you 😊
