It's a great place, really comfortable room with a nice bathroom, and a tv you can watch from bed. The big plus for us was, the outside kitchen which was really great, got everything you need to cook, and can eat and chill in hammocks with nice lights in the evening. You can also get pizzas delivered!

It's indeed not indicated anymore on the description, but I got misleaded by the reviews: they do not have bikes for free or to rent anymore, it used to be but that's not the case anymore. Which made the location not ideal for us as we were counting on bikes to get around. You can rent some close by, but go early - they had 1 bike left when we went there!

The kitchen area is nice and the fact that you have a big fridge in the room is a big plus! also the breakfast was always very good

the road to the hotel from the main road is in horrible state, so when it rained a lot it was difficult to pass bare foot. the bikes offered by the hotel were not in the best condition. We heard why from the owner, but it is difficult to get around without a bike

Carlos and Barbara the owners are wonderful people the attention and service received was exceptional. We had breakfast everyday freshly made, we can't say enough great things about our stay and the personalized attention. After tje 2nd day it felt like we were staying with family. We look forward to seeing them again and spending more time in the beautiful Island of Bocas Del Toro.

Such a nice calm place with green surroundings tucked away from the town’s hustle and bustle. I love the fact that there was free water and coffee in the shared kitchen. the mini fridge in the room was awesome to have and you could feel that the owner had put a lot of thought into the decorations with hangers and place to dry wet clothes.

The only minus was that it was a bit far from the city meaning that you would have to take a taxi or bike with one of the free bikes to town, if you want to go to a restaurant or buy groceries.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were modern and and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was tasty. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to others looking to stay outside of the center of town.

loved the location! much nicer than staying in town and much more wildlife and plants! the room was lovely and bed very comfy. we didnt want to leave! our hosts were welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was great. there was a big storm during the night and when we left the hotel there was a tiny caiman outside- it was fantastic! we also got to see sloths, a family of monkeys and toucans. we would love to stay here again!

The room was comfortable and very clean and had a small fridge :) It has AC and a fan and hot water, and no bugs entered since the windows were protected with a mesh. The breakfast was abundant and delicious! The hotel has a common area so you can cook. The host was very nice and extra helpful- recommended several things to do! At night, there was a wonderful view of the stars. The access road is a dirt road - since we were on aweek that rained a lot (not usually that way) I recommend to use taxi to get around or rent a scooter/motorcycle, and to bring along your bug repellent and you should be fine! The hotel really exceeded my expectations! :)

It‘s a little far from the main part of the island but you can rent good bikes for free which was great.

Very cozy place, you could use the kitchen if necessary, everything you needed was there, the owners were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very rich, the Netflix option in the rooms was a very good solution.

Most of the time we used hotel bicycles which were free to use but would require some maintenance. But when you need a taxi on this island, you can never be sure if and when they will come and how much it could cost. Sometimes they didn't come at all and last morning don Carlo gave us a ride yourself, because no taxi came, but we needed to get our boat to go back to Almirante. Thank you, don Carlo :)

Absolutely loved our stay here. We live near Bocas so we have stayed at many places, and this was far and away the best place we have stayed at yet!

Carlo and his wife are wonderful people, it was a pleasure to stay. Nice and cozy place, very clean, and breakfast was good. It was good that they have bikes and you can ride to the beach or city.

Bikes need some maintenance…

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Ther owners are a really nice family from Italy, their son was always ready to help with all the questions that we had. The room was nice and we had hot water. Also a lady cleaned it every day and they change towels and sheets. The atmosphere there was great in general, all the people who stayed there were very nice.

The internet was slow sometimes, but we still were able to work, so it wasn't an issue. Location is good if you want to feel tranquility but the place is quite far from the downtown, so get ready to take a cab (2 usd to the downtown).

This was one of the best accomodations that we had in Panama. The room was spotless. Everyday there was room service and we saw that they even cleant the baseboard of the doors during room service. We felt so comfortable, like home. We stayed two nights longer than initially planned. Carlo and his family are great and welcoming hosts. We also enjoyed their good breakfast. We would come back at any time. The shared kitchen is perfectly equipped und also cleaned every day. In addition they offered filtered water and bikes for free to get around. This place is worth more than what they demand.

There is only one slightly negative point: the location. There is almost nothing in walking distance (~15 minutes). But you can use the bikes for free, so it is no problem to get around.

Our stay at La Luciernaga was great, the owners are super kind and helpful, the breakfasts are great, they made us feel at home. The owners also provide bikes, so we could ride the city for no extra cost. The place is super clean and cosy, we really loved staying here.

The only thing I wish was there is a swimming pool. ;)

We looked for a place to relax and definitely found it. The accommodation had everything we needed, we felt super comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! The accommodation is also not far from the beach where you can swim (which is great because some beaches are only good for surfing) and if you want to do some tours or activities, you'll get some recommendations.
