We had such an amazing time! This house is just perfect! Plenty of space for all 12 of us. Great size rooms, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen. Tons of cozy blankets to wrap up in to hang out by the fireplace. We absolutely would rent this home again. Communication with Lorraine was fantastic. Such an amazing host and person! Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home!

We LOVED this house! The location could not be better. We sat out on the porch every morning and evening enjoying the views of Boone. The house is set up perfectly for large families or multiple families and perfect for game-day weekends at App. Of course, the hiking trail to Booneshine made this house one of our favorite Boone rentals. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Lorraine for such a memorable weekend.

We loved this house! The views are incredible and we practically lived on the back deck which was very roomy with comfortable furniture. We enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife in the field below - deer, bunnies and groundhogs. The sounds of all of the birds and mountain breeze was so lovely. Really fun to watch the soccer games from way away too. The house is well stocked especially for a rental! Anything you could need in the kitchen, lots of extra blankets, tons of board games, charging stations everywhere for devices, and even some binoculars! The kids had fun in the game room in the basement, which was helpful as their isn't a yard for them to run around in much here. It is SO close to town and everything you need - groceries, gas, restaurants, etc. We normally like to try new places when we travel - but we will be back to this place for sure!

This was our 3rd year staying here, and we absolutely love the place! The view is excellent, and the location is wonderful!!

Love this property! We’ve actually stayed here twice over the past few years. Plenty of space for our family of 8. The view from the back deck is amazing. Very peaceful. The kids loved the game room. Wish we would have spent more time at the house but we were active in the local area between zip lining, tubing, and shopping. Look forward to returning again in the future.

We had a fabulous stay last weekend - the cabin had everything we needed, it was very clean and comfortable, and the views were incredible! Also, my daughter was graduating from App State so it was really nice that the cabin was so close to campus. I would absolutely stay here again! :)

The house was absolutely wonderful! It was a convenient location to so many things in the area. The house itself was a great layout with updated bedrooms & bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked. The decks had a beautiful evening view. We can’t wait to come back!

This cabin is a great location to downtown Boone. Beautiful views! It had plenty of sleeping space for our family! I would Love to stay there again!

The cabin was as beautiful as it’s presented. Very spacious, for a large group. The mountain views were gorgeous, and loved the sliding door for an abundance of fresh air sweeping through the family room. We loved watching the cattle as well from the deck. The hot tub view was a relaxing break from the City life, right in front of mountains. Truly felt peaceful and comfortable. The game room was a hit and family got all the bonding and play time provided by pool table, arcade and more! The kitchen and pantry was fully stocked with mostly everything that’s needed to cook meals. The decor and furniture was very homey, the feel and vibe of a warm home even with all Holiday decor. The Property Manager was communicative and allowed early check in.

We stayed here for our son’s basketball tournament and absolutely loved this property. When we opened the door, the music was playing and fireplace was burning - really cozy. The tasteful holiday decorations created the perfect ambience for our week. The game area in the basement was ideal for hosting a few teenagers in between basketball games. My parents stayed in the main floor bedroom- great for avoiding stairs. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, which was good because the area restaurants were quite busy. We had some gorgeous weather and enjoyed the view from the comfortable outdoor furniture and hot tub. Lorraine was super responsive and helped us out with a few small things right away. Thanks so much for a wonderful week in Boone!

Our sons and their families rented the cabin for Christmas. What a wonderful time we had and the cabin was decorated with tree and lights even! My 3 and 5 year grandsons had a wonderful and even went sledding near the cabin. It was immaculate and had amenity you could think of. Lorraine was very easy to reach with any questions too! We want to go back again. I recommend this cabin for any family get together.

This home was amazing! It is spacious and very beautiful. We had 7 adults and had MORE than enough living/eating/sleeping space. The view was wonderful and very easy to get to town (even in icy snow). The kitchen had more than I have ever seen in a rental and provided more than we ever needed. The decorations for Christmas was the icing on the cake.

Our group of 8 adults was volunteering at Samaritans Purse just outside Boone. The cabin was perfect for our needs and close to everything. I hope we have the opportunity to return.

We had a wonderful time with family at this cabin. Close to town & yet away from the hustle & bustle. Enjoyed the walking trail. Beautiful inside layout.

Loved our stay at this property! There was plenty of room for our friends. Only downside was there wasn’t extra of essential things like paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags! But otherwise, amazing stay!!

Nice home with a good view on a relatively private road yet is still very close to everything. House had everything we needed for our short stay. Good communication with host.

Everything was exactly as listed, property is in a beautiful spot. Very easy to get to , and close to downtown Boone. Had a small problem with the fireplace, it was quickly resolved. We hope we were as good a guest group as the property and management were to us. Plenty of room never feels crowded, views overlooking the blue ridge mountains are awesome in mid fall. Very well maintained property.

We had a wonderful stay at East Meets West. The priority was exactly as described, and was in great condition. We enjoyed the beautiful views on the back deck and loved the “neighbors” (cows) in the field next door. The entire set up was very comfortable and we had a blast playing pool, shuffleboard, arcade games, and cornhole. Would highly recommend staying here and hope to come back someday if we have a big group with us- our crew of 9 had plenty of room. The location was very convenient to downtown Boone, and most importantly, to Booneshine brewery. 😀.

We had a fabulous time at this property! We were a party of 11 and had plenty of space for all. The game room downstairs was a hit and we enjoyed the hot tub, shuffleboard and arcade games. Kitchen had everything we needed. Views were beautiful and we all enjoyed the cows. Our 2 pups enjoyed the home and area as well. This was by far the best family vacation we have ever taken! We live in the middle of NC so we are blessed to be close to the beach and mountains. We love the mountains especially in the summer (reprieve from the humidity)!! This cabin exceeded our expectations and more! Plenty of room for our family + couple of kids' friends. It's even better in person than the beautiful pictures! Great amenities, gorgeous and peaceful view, inviting hot tub, fun pool table and arcade games......and BEST SLEEP EVER in the comfortable beds! The kids actually put their cell phones down to play pool and have a dance party! (Unbelievable, I know!) The cabin is close to downtown Boone and perfect location for river tubing in Todd and zip-lining in Seven Devils (near Banner Elk and we highly recommend both). We also went to TN for rafting the Nolichucky River. Highly recommended as well....we used High Mountain Expeditions to take us from Boone. The bus ride was as thrilling as the rafting! Top notch company for both tubing and rafting. Best part of vacation though was Lorraine! I had one question when we got there, sent her a text, and she responded within a minute! You need to book this cabin now!! We are already looking at our calendar to stay again next year! Thank you, Lorraine, for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!! :)

Family and friends stayed here to celebrate my daughter's college graduation and it was hands down the best experience renting a mountain cabin that I have ever had (and I have rented many cabins over the past 6 years)! Lorraine, the host, was kind, generous, always available and one of the sweetest people I have had the privilege of talking to. Never saw her and never spoke to her by voice, but by texts I could tell just how special of a person she was! The house has so many "extras" that do not go unnoticed......sofa's that are recliners, a chair massager in the master suite, tons of games, a well stocked kitchen for cooking, and a book of all you will need to know about the house and more. Just PERFECT! But one of the best parts of this cabin is the location ....you feel like you are just seconds from town for all those conveniences but you step onto the back porch and you feel like you are in the country with the cows greeting you each morning! At night its so quiet and all the surrounding houses and cabins have their lights on and they twinkle like the stars above while the crickets chirp. Just hands down the BEST cabin and experience!

We got 12” of snow while we were there. The house is very big. Full downstairs full ground level and full upstairs with bathrooms on every level. Pool table, hot tub, shuffle board, and arcade game. Plenty of blankets and towels. Perfect location, very close to town and about 15 minutes to hawks nest. Great place to stay with family.
