Enjoyed all the beautiful shades of blue water. The beach sand and the shallow clear water is worth the walk down. The sunsets were an event every night. BEST VACATION EVER!

Blue Waters Edge is a private breathtaking property nestled on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. The views of Lake Michigan and the sun sets are etched in my mind forever. The house is nearly new and wonderfully accommodated my family of 22. The ownership and management are world class. Everything you could ever need has been carefully thought through and provided. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The house was beautifully laid out and appointed to accommodate our multigenerational family. Our hosts were immediately responsive to any questions we had with helpful tips about the area. The photos don’t do justice to the beauty of the views from every room! The only downside is the access to the beach. It’s a physically challenging climb back up! We would definitely recommend this property. The pool and the hot tub were our family’s favorites.

This incredible lake house has it all. Gorgeous views, great pool, well-appointed kitchen, quiet bedrooms, stunning master baths, spacious living rooms. I want to go back!

I could go in to detail or simply say this place is "done right". Our stay was fantastic. Our annual family vacation has landed us in Ludington four times now (out of the last six years) and this was easily without a doubt the best one yet out of anywhere we have been (all six stays have been on the lake and this easily surpassed them all). Our family consisted of eight adults, and six children (ages 2-6). The house could not have been better suited for our trip. With plenty of space both upstairs and downstairs, even on a rainy day there was space for everyone. The house was outfitted with everything we could have expected and more. From the inconspicuous baby gates already on the stairs, to the pack and plays to the kitchen with ample dishware including children settings, there was nothing we needed. I could go on and on with just the inside of the house (smart TVs, bluetooth speakers, views, two kitchens, two laundry rooms, size of bedrooms) as it was perfect. Outside was the same. The pool was clean, warm and had plenty of towels. The kids loved the diving board and fountains. The hot tub and views out at the lake at sunset was incredible (growing up in Michigan I tend to take lake sunsets for granted but when I showed photos to my coworkers in Western Illinois they could not believe). The outdoor shower to rinse off was perfect too. I do not believe we will ever find a place as nice to stay at for a family trip as we did this year. Thank you the owners of this property for thinking of everything and designing the house in a way that was perfect from a rental experience. Simply put this place is done right.

This beautiful lake house is exceptional. Always like to stay somewhere that is at least as good as where we live. I have to say you have knocked it out of the ballpark. And I didn’t mean to sound stuck up but just wanted you to know that we know that you have pulled out all the stops to make this home one of the best on VRBO. Our family takes a yearly vacation with our kids and grandkids. This is by far the best house we have picked in over 14 years. The owners are awesome. Checked on us to make sure we did not need anything. We needed nothing. It was all already there for us. The views are breathtaking and the pool is perfect. Thanks for making it all possible for us this year.

The layout was perfect for the 4 families and we appreciated the security steps taken regarding the pool. The hosts were great to work with, we’re very responsive to questions, and had tons of supplies on hand for kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home!

All my extended family enjoyed this house immensely. Everyone enjoyed the heated pool, as the week was cool. This was the best kid friendly place as there were high chairs, booster seats and plenty of toys and games. The kitchen was also well stocked for making dinners for a large group. Again there were a whole set of kid friendly plates and cups. Beds were comfortable and with play spaces up and down everyone could do their own thing. The walk to the house beach is long but we found a township beach just a few miles down for an easy sandy experience. Great vacation for all!

The house was amazing our only complaint was the 100 steps down to the beach, but that wouldn’t stop us from renting it again.

We had family come from all over the US to this residence. The property, view and hospitality were best in class. The house was able to fit our large family comfortable and the views were stellar. We would definitely stay at this residence in the future.

This is one of the few properties we have stayed at that actually had more than enough towels and amenities available to accommodate a large number of guests. The hot tub was awesome! Would definitely recommend renting this property to anyone we know, and may be back in summer ourselves!

This property was absolutely stunning! Great Location. Just a short drive into either town (Pentwater or Ludington.) Shawn was superb. Very responsive. The home is brand new so there were a few minor things not completely finished thus far. however nothing that would noticeably make a difference in your experience. Stunning views of Lake Michigan. The weather was great during our stay and we were able to swim in the pool in October. Nice and heated. Cannot wait to make a return visit in the future!!

We have been using VRBO properties for years. THIS property is one of our favorites! We had family aged 2-60 in the house. Each of the four nuclear families had their own space. The gathering spaces in the central and pool part of the house were perfect. The first thing we noted upon entering was the cleanliness. Everything was organized and set up as if at a fine hotel. The owners have thought of everything from plastic ware for the pool and kids, game closet, pool toys, cozy blankets and stocked mini fridge. Communication with the owner was clear and prompt. The view was amazing: Lake Michigan calm and stormy was pretty fantastic to see. And the sunsets….WOW! As most reviews state, the hike to the beach was a little difficult (mostly on the return up the “hill”), but so worthwhile. Private beach, plenty of walking, water activity. We plan to return again to this gem! Thanks, Shawn and Naomi, you know how to do it right!

We enjoyed our week soaking in the splendor of Lake Michigan in this beautiful vacation home. As soon as you enter the foyer you are greeted by a soaring ceiling with beautiful beams, stunning Lake Michigan view, warm wood floors, and an open, airy, well laid out design. The unexpected sprinkling of shiplap used throughout the home made my heart smile. The covered porch quickly became our favorite spot to start and end our day. It was the perfect place for that morning coffee or end of the day sunset. The whole family enjoy the heated, salt water pool and the finished basement with Pac-Man arcade machine. The trip down to the beach was a mixture of stairs and dirt paths, which could be hard for some individuals to navigate, but our crew managed just fine. Once there, you were rewarded with your own private oasis of sandy shore line, clear blue water, paddle boards, and kayaks. Overall, our stay was magical. The owners were helpful and responsive, and the home was beautiful and clean. The memories we take from our week in this Lake Michigan gem will last a lifetime. Alicia K.

Planned week long stay at this lovely property. Owners were very quick with response to questions prior to stay. Once at the property it was just what the pictures showed. Lovely well stocked kitchen that opened to great room. Plenty of space for the cook and several others to help with meal preparation. Basement game room was a plus. This property has enough bedrooms and bathrooms for family and friends to stay comfortably. Nice private beach was accessible after walk down stairs and through a wooded path. Heated pool was a well maintained and well utilized by me and my guests. I have stayed previously in properties in Holland, Michigan that had access to a bike path that this property did not have. Regardless of that I would stay here again.

We vacationed at this house for a week with family. Ages ranged from 70s to 7, and there was something for everyone. The house was well laid out, with two master suites. The other bedrooms had Jack and Jill bathrooms, but had a separation between toilets and sinks for privacy. The extra bathroom on the pool level was great for added bathroom and shower. The kitchens were fully stocked with all supplies and utensils, coffee maker, Kurig, crockpots, grilling tools, full sets of dish’s and plastic dishes for the pool etc. There was plenty of seating inside and outside. The house had linens, towels and pools towels. The views from the house were amazing, better than the pictures. The owners were extremely friendly and responsive, and had thought through everything. Lots of little added touches. The walk down to the water is partially wooden steps and four sections without steps, with a steep incline, so it wasn’t practical for some family members. The beach was beautiful, pure sand (no rocks) with clear water and was very private. And had lots of water toys. Highly recommend this vacation home.
