We were just looking for a place to sleep while we came to Knoxville to visit our new grandbaby, but we actually found our new destination for the many future family visits to come! Brandi and Kevin and family have really put together a wonderful property for their guests to enjoy. They obviously put alot of thought into it as just about everything you would need is provided! From quality toiletries to indoor and outdoor entertainment, like pool tables, video games, horse shoes and cornhole just to name a few. Really, you won't even need to leave the cabin! Thank you Brandi and Kevin for allowing us such a memorable time at your Ponderosa Cabins! Ben Cartright would be proud ;)

The Hosts went out of their way to create a welcoming atmosphere and very comfortable cabin. The location to Knoxville was very close and an easy commute. Cabin had all the necessary amenities needed.

Drove from NJ to spend Thanksgiving with our UTK Junior and our son from Charleston. The Cabin and property was gorgeous and relaxing. Kitchen was great for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. We had a great day watching the Vols beat Vanderbilt at Neyland Stadium on Saturday! Would love to rent multiple cabins at the Ponderosa with family and friends soon!

Beautiful cabin and property! The beds are super comfy, and we really enjoyed the fire pit for making smores and hanging out. The gated property made us feel very safe. Perfect place that feels like you're out in the country, but it's very close to downtown Knoxville.

Everything was good. Very close and easy to get to from Knoxville and the airport.

A truly incredible experience! Great communication the entire time and very personal as well. We need to make some changes and the owner was very accommodating. As far as the property, it exceeded expectations. The Ponderosa is a 16 acre serene wooded property with a few well appointed log cabins, a small pond absolutely filled with fish, nature trails, and lots of other activities (tetherball, cornhole, horseshoes, hammocks, fire pits, etc.). It is close to down town Knoxville but you truly feel like you are way out in the country. We stayed in the Big Hoss cabin and it was perfect! EXTREMELY comfortable beds! Fantastic game room! Hot tub on a wrap around deck with swings and lots of sitting. Too much to list! Gas grill came in handy and we even cooked on the fire pit! Lots of fun! My son caught seven bass in two days and these were pretty good size. SOOOOO RELAXING! Thanks so much for a beautiful stay!

As advertised. Very quiet and the shade from trees provided cool days to end the summer.

This was our second time staying at the place. Both times have been great! Everything is very clean, and well kept. Plenty of activities to keep you busy on the property.

Cabin was clean and we really enjoyed the hot tub, porch and game room. Comfortable beds and linens. Laundry was a plus. About 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville was important for visit to University of Tennessee and accessibility to restaurants and things to do. Overall, the cabin provided a great get away to relax and spend quality family time together.

The home was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bears tucked away here and there were a big hit! Extra activities around the property were nice for the children, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub after a long day. The dogs enjoyed the fenced in acreage, on the back side of the property, to romp around without a leash. We would have liked a slightly larger, cleaner pond for easier fishing, (there are many tree branches above and inside the pond to hang up gear in) but in the end, we still caught & released a number of fish. Overall, we had a really great stay and would stay here again. Weather was warm and sunny, but the wonderful shade trees all around made it quite comfortable.

This place is awesome. Plenty of privacy yet very close to town and amenities. The cabins are in excellent condition and everything that you need is provided. The entire property is gated and you need the security code to enter. There is an 5 acre fenced exercise area for your dog and all in all it is extremely well kept. I would recommend this to everyone

We had a great long weekend. Our friends were in town for Big Ears and we decided to all stay together in this cabin. The kids loved the game room. The cabin is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Really appreciate the quick communication from Brandi.

It was a fantastic experience, the cabin was clean and amazing with all amenities. Great location close enough to downtown Knoxville but not too close. We stayed in a few cabins in eastern part of Tennessee in this by far was the best.

Was a great location with plenty of activities to do and was only 25 minutes from the school I was visiting

We have stayed in a lot of cabins over the years. Some were bigger and some were newer but this one was the best yet. It was perfect for our family of 6. My oldest daughter had a volleyball tournament in Knoxville and this cabin was about 13 minutes from the Knoxville Convention Center. We decided to book a cabin instead of a hotel room so we could stay a few more days since the girls had winter break. The layout inside the cabin was great. Our older girls had the entire basement with a bunk bed room, bath & game room. We put our twin 4 years old in the main floor bedroom and we slept upstairs. It has everything we needed and more. We loved all the outdoor activities. They have everything you can imagine to do. Nightly s’mores & a dip in the hot tub was always a plus. The pond was great for fishing even in February. We played corn hole and explored the 16 acres. The hosts were amazing and were quick to respond if we had any questions. If we return next year for volleyball I will definitely book this cabin again. It was perfect!

Log cabin feel, great getaway. Ease in location and access to nearby sources for any supplies you might need. Will definitely book again.

I definitely recommend this property. Peaceful and quiet with lots of space and very clean. Our kids loved hanging out in the game room in the basement and it was fun exploring the property. Lots to do outdoors as well with walking trails, tether ball, cornhole, horseshoes, fire pit area, etc. Communication was great as well, and they made the check-in process so easy. Would stay here again. We were in Knoxville for a gymnastics meet, so being 15-20 minutes away from downtown was key for us as well. A fun city to explore.

My family enjoyed this charming cabin for five days. During that time we explored the ground, visited the nearby horses, hiked multiple trials, and enjoyed many different restaurants around the area. This cabins location make everything easier to go to. It was a week of walking fitness!!

We had the most wonderful time exploring the property and soaking in the hot tub. The cabin was perfect and super clean. Would definitely stay here again!

We were in town to visit my elderly parents in Maryville. The cabin was very close to both Knoxville and Maryville and made for easy access to places we needed to go. The cabin was very comfortable with absolutely everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Our dogs enjoyed morning walks on the trails and hay pasture and we enjoyed nightly pool table games and watching movies. Thanks so much for sharing your property with us!

I rented 2 cabins and both were amazing! It’s a very short walk through a path to get to the other cabin. The grounds were amazing with a pond, outdoor games and even hammocks!!! There are plenty of boards games pool, arcade, darts and a fabulous hot tub!! They provided plenty of towels and all bathroom essentials! The kitchen had pots, pans, trash bags, tinfoil, paper towels, and ziploc bags. Everything came in so handy as we forgot plenty of things. This trip was amazing. Rent this if you want to have a nice family get together. Fire pits outside are fabulous! Thanks so much for your hospitality and allowing us to stay at your property !

Cabin was cozy clean and well stocked with our needs. Could have used a DVD player main floor to view videos we brought for down time. Loved the back porch. Well worth the cost for our stay

We had six guys in our group this week. Everyone loved the cabin and all the cool game room. We played the video game for hours and enjoyed the pool table. The evening were chilly so we took advantage of the fire pit and almost fell asleep in the peaceful tranquility of the property. The beds were very comfortable and pillows reminded us all of the ones we have at home. Kudos to the owners for the helpful communication throughout the entire experience.

We had a very nice time relaxing and winding down for a few days. The cabin was very well setup for our visit. It was very clean, in good order, and in a wonderful wilderness setting. Thank you to the owners!!

Have stayed here multiple times over the past 5 years when in-town for work. Share it with a couple coworkers to keep costs reasonable. Provides a wonderful setting for passing any of the time not in the office. Hot tub, pool table and arcade are nice for the social time.

We were very pleased with the accommodations. Owners go above and beyond to make sure you have anything you need. Very clean and comfortable. Game room is a nice plus.

This property has the feel of the country life but only about 10-15 from Knoxville. The cabin is beautiful and so is the area it is located on. We enjoyed taking our Yorkie on walks each evening. We all loved the hot tub after a long day. We all challenged each other in the game room. It was simply amazing, and the owners are fabulous! If I had two recommendations, they would be the upstairs loft bedroom needs a king size bed and the downstairs bedroom needs a television. Those are definitely not deal breakers, just our opinion on ways to make improvements. If you need to stay close to campus but want to enjoy the TN views, this is the property for you. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing week.
