Mouse droppings, dirty mattresses

Construction going on in lobby, which was very messy. Unexpected. Room extremely outdated and gross. For what I paid, I really expected nicer.

the room was in poor condition, not clean, and front staff were not friendly at check in. the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke.

The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast had a lot to offer.

The air conditioner in the room took forever to turn on, and then it cut off quickly and the room stayed really hot. We ended up having to open the windows all night. Thankfully we were on the third floor but the parking lot lights and the sound of being beside an airport made it extremely difficult to sleep.

The property is under construction and under new ownership. It will probably be nice when the renovations are complete.

When we arrived a hornet’s nest was in the room. The hotel had old furniture and a bad odor.

Property was close to the Airport which is where the Air Show we attended was.

Property was undergoing remodeling. Booking should alert you if this is happening. Had to get a different room due to a slow leak in a sprinkler. Woke up the next morning to find a pair of socks that had fallen out of the bedding where housekeeping had missed getting them out when cleaning the room. Tv didn’t work in one room and no trash cans in any of the rooms.

Ample parking at the front, although not helpful, at least somewhat apologetic staff!

1. Seemed disorganized, front desk gave me the keys to a suite but by the time I reached the elevator asked me to return the set of keys for another set to another suite. We were super-tired after a long day, we just needed to hit the bed, but the keys did not work. We had to go back to the reception to get the keys fixed and it was strange to hear the front desk person say "I hope it works this time, otherwise I'll have to see what I can do". Thankfully it worked the second time. 2. The cleanliness -> There was water in the kitchen, leaking from the fridge (we guessed), there was a crumpled paper towel on the kitchen counter, didn't look like the carpet was vacuumed, coffee stains on the nightstand by the bed, water leaking in the bathroom and in general the suite was old, which made it all worse. We asked for another room and we were told they had none and front desk person said she was the only one there, there's no way anything can be done about it, they'd be happy to reverse the check-in charges if we decide to leave. After 10 min, when we were deciding to book elsewhere, the front desk called to say they have another suite if we were interested. Given all the chaos, we decided not to stay the night there, we decided to book the Holiday Inn Express that was right next door, and left.

I really didn't care for the breakfast but everything was what I expected. Rates were great. I booked with booking.com and by using them I lost my free nights. I'll never use them again or recommend that company to my friends.
