Hello, it was a great time at your property! We enjoy the stay and location. It was lovely and clean but we did have one issue. Both bathrooms had an odor smell of the sewer that was getting into the whole Vrbo. The smell was making all of us sick, so please make sure this issue is resolved for the next guest!

The bunkhouse was so fun and all of our friends enjoyed it. Highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here in the winter for our annual ice fishing trip. It is very close to the boat landing for easy access to the lake. Everything is as advertised. It is a great place to stay with tons of fun for everyone!

Highly recommend staying at this place, we will be coming back! The bunk house was clean, amazing kitchen, and HUGE. It was so cool. Lots of games and a nice working old bar juke box. Easy lake access, next to trail, and enough parking. Jenni was easy to work with and contact.

Stayed here for our annual ice fishing trip, 7 people. 2nd time staying. Great place to stay and have fun. Place is described accurately and is well kept. Nice to have local places close to eat at and have a few drinks. The kitchen flat top is great for large group cooking. Enjoy all the bar games.

This place is honestly much nicer than it appears in photos! Spacious, comfy beds, and lots of amenities. We loved it here and will likely stay again!

We had 5 families stay on the property- 4 in the bunkhouse and 1 on the RV pad. It was a house full and we had a great time. The kids loved running outside and playing the games and the jukebox . We did swimming and fishing on Pickerel Lake and did some riding on the utvs. Was a great time and the hosts were very accommodating.

The Bunkhouse was perfect for our Second Annual Family Vacation!! The "Game Room" was Thoroughly Enjoyed by everyone-with the Jukebox being the Main Attraction! The yard was Perfect for playing outside games - letting the littles run and play! The Kitchen and Bar were Great for cooking and eating our meals. Overall The Bunkhouse was Perfect for our family - Lots of Fun and Laughs were had by all.

We were pleasantly surprised to easily find the Bunkhouse, get inside and enjoy having what once was a bar our own little private bar for a weekend! Having children onboard kept all of us occupied but not on top of one another. The utensils, pots and pans and the ability to basically use the kitchen as a bar-run kitchen was a great pleasure! We had easy access to the two televisions, pool table, foosball table, jukebox of a wide variety of music, and dart board. The local bar/beach was within walking distance. The neighbors were very quiet and friendly. This would be a great destination for a family, bachelor party or family reunion! The only thing we would have wanted changed was a complete ceiling over each bedroom so that each had privacy. We understood that the heating/cooling was set up so that it could not be done. Many thanks for a wonderful trip!!!

Our group of 10 had a great stay at the bunkhouse in Aug 2023. There was plenty of room for everyone. The beds were comfortable. Having pool and darts available was a nice touch. While not right on the water, there is a nice view of the lake from the front porch. The owner was very responsive to questions. Overall it was a good experience and we would stay here again.

Spacious, very clean and well-equipped. This place had everything we needed, and more. Our grandchildren loved the foosball tables and the classic jukebox. Each of our kids and their families enjoyed their own bedroom. The livjng area had 4 couches for the adults to sit and converse. Highly recommended for large groups.

We arrived Thursday afternoon- everyone was extremely impressed when they looked at the property. Kitchen, bar, bathrooms etc. were all more than what we expected. Great place, great location, everyone in the area very friendly. We can't wait to book again!

This was our third stay at the Pickerel Bunkhouse. We use it for overflow family lodging and it has worked out great all three times! So close to our family lake home and has everything you could need. Thank you so very much!

My friends and I had a great time for the long weekend we were there. The place was clean, spacious, and the bar scene/large kitchen made it easy to have 15 people comfortably fit. Nice to get away and plenty of smaller bars to bounce around to.

Everyone in our group was impressed with the house. We would recommend for a bigger groups.

Picked the bunkhouse for our annual Ice fishing trip. The bunk house was as described. Clean. Great place to hang out and have some drinks. The bar games where a hit as was the jukebox. The big griddle top in the kitchen worked good for breakfast and also steaks for supper. Visited both pickerel point and debs firelight, nice to have them close by for drinks and a meal. Fishing on pickerel was good. Lots of small northerns, no monsters but ~4 tip ups a hour. The check in code was not sent to me prior to arrival, but the owner was responsive when I called and told me the code and followed up with a text (they were on vacation out of town, and forgot to send it.) Overall, the bunk house was a great spot for our group of 8 adults. The bunk room beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and towels/soaps were all good. Tons of board game and card games with poker chips are also provided. If there were two things I would improve on it would be the following: Have the heat turned up prior to arrival (it is WIFI based so it can be fairly easy to do). It didn't take super long to heat up from 56 to 70 but if we had kids along they might have been a bit chilled. Second would be to install a standard fridge/freezer in the kitchen. The beverage cooler behind the bar and the prep cooler in the kitchen work good but they are OFF on arrival. It takes a while to get cold. A standard fridge could stay ON and is energy efficient. Overall, a great stay and will hope to be back next year.

We all really enjoyed everything about the place. The games, pool table, darts etc. everything you could want to do was there which was a huge plus for our group. Tons of space and the kitchen was fun to work in. We will definitely rent this again. Thank you

The place worked out great for us and is a really nice place. The only thing that would have been nice to have available was a mop or something to clean up the floors during our stay. Otherwise it was a great place and I will definitely recommend it and keep it in mind for other trips.

This place was absolutely incredible! It's having a whole bar to yourself. Great for a group of friends to have a ton of fun!

We were celebrating a friend's 50th birthday party. Unfortunately, the weather did not want to cooperate with us for some golf, but the bunkhouse provided plenty of fun and activities to keep the party going. Pool, darts, foosball, jukebox and more kept us entertained. The kitchen set up made preparing food easy, and they have plenty of accessories to meet your cooking needs. I was a little bummed to learn that the big cooler doors you can see in the photos actually lead to the drying room and cannot be used as a beverage refrigerator. I am sure this is because it would be inefficient to cool, but I was really looking forward to that. There could be a couple extra trash cans in the bar area for, but these are just nitpicking. The place was awesome. Oh... I do suggest that if you are going to have a poker game, check the deck first, We grabbed a deck that had 52 cards, but was an incorrect deck. Was strange seeing two pocket Ace of spades. Ha

The pictures online don’t do it Justice. A perfect place for weekend get away with friends. Couldn’t of asked for a better place. Once the word gets out place will be hard to book.

This property is exactly as advertised, maybe even better in person. We stayed here for a few days to check out the local ATV/UTV trails. We had an overall great time and will definitely look at this place first in the future!

This is a really nice space, local bar converted to a vacation rental home. The bar space and large kitchen are fantastic for serving a big group. Kitchen has everything else you could want, including flat cook top. Fridge and freezer space way beyond what you would ever need. No dishwasher, though, so plan meals accordingly! Beds were comfortable enough, there is no ceiling to the bedrooms so you can hear any noisy sleeper, FYI. Like a bunkhouse. Bedrooms were large and easily sleeps 6 each! we didn't have that many, so we were able to spread out a bit. Bathrooms and showers were clean, nice, good water pressure and temps, very spacious. We appreciated the games - pool table was in constant use. Its pretty good, needs new bumpers but we weren't too picky. Cues were new. Darts, bean bag game, jukebox, lots of board games, you can never be bored here. Wifi/cell service was a little spotty, but that's not the property's fault, its spotty all over the lake. We were able to stream netflix, but not always send emails or texts. There's even a really nice patio with umbrella and fire pit, tons of chairs. This was our second summer coming here, and I could see small improvements all over the place. Would definitely recommend!
