We had a great stay! The owners were wonderful and communicated very well. When we had an issue, they helped and took care of things as quickly as possible. The house is great and literally has everything you could need! You can seriously just pack your clothes and food and then relax, because they have everything else there for you, I mean everything. Having the hot tub was such a great bonus, as we could enjoy it after the kids went to sleep and have our parent “vacation” too. We’d absolutely stay again!

We had such an amazing time on Spring Break. From booking our reservation to all the small details that are covered that are taken care of for you it was totally stress free. If you have it at home they more than likely have thought of it and supplied it for you. We were so impressed with all the updates. Very happy with our experience and would highly recommend.

We stayed here for a last minute end of spring break trip with our kids and grandkids. The house is beautiful and has everything you could need. The coffee maker in the main suite is a terrific touch. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy and the outdoor shower was a huge help with three toddlers coming from the beach. Definitely recommend adding on the golf cart. Hosts were helpful and attentive. Really an all around great experience with all the comforts you could possibly want. Hoping to come back when the weather warms up!

The house is impeccably clean! The kitchen and garage are stocked with everything you could need! We had the best trip ever!!

Minus a few minor things, the property was simply perfect for our family vacation. The Pointe West area in itself is just beautiful and easy to access. It’s a Shore Thing is a very well-kept and well-thought-out home away from home. Every detail was carefully thought of; you can really feel the love the owners put into this place. While we never did get a chance to utilize the downstairs outdoor areas of the home, it too was well thought of. It was laid out very well and I wish we would’ve made time to enjoy it. That said, our overall stay was still very relaxing and enjoyable. The owners are very attentive and a pleasure to deal with. So different from other places we’ve stayed at before; we will certainly stay here again! -Very Happy Guests ☺️

Jeff and Erin are great hosts. They have thought of everything. The home is amazingly clean. There are complete amenities: two Keurigs, excellent WiFi, cooking items, and beach toys. The home is close to the beach, but not right on the beach. I’d recommend using the golf cart (provided for a fee) or your vehicle if you have beach toys, chairs, tent, etc. the balconies are nice and overlook a neighborhood pond. The beach view is minimal, but slightly visible. The neighborhood is very nice and very safe. The kids loved the beautiful, spacious pool. Overall, it’s not an inexpensive endeavor, but would highly recommend this home.

This was a beautiful home and a blessing to our family! The home was exactly as described and had so many extra amenities. The homeowners were very kind and the communication was always prompt and provided the needed information. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family vacation was very memorable in Galveston this summer. The living accommodations were 5 ⭐️! Everything we needed was there, from cooking utensils, spices and all other ingredients. Erin is great to work with and helpful. Her house is comfortable and spacious. I was a little confused when looking at the website on how many bedrooms there were in the house. The house has three bedrooms with attached bathrooms. I would stay at her house again but would know that it only sleeps 7 plus anyone that might want to sleep on the couch.

My family and I recently stayed here for three nights. What a great quick getaway from Houston. The property and area is secluded and comparable to more expensive ones in Florida. The house was perfect for our group of 7. The hot tub, golf cart and extra features made the stay complete. We only wish we stayed for more days. We will be back. 100% recommend.

This was perfect for our family of 6. Erin and Jeff were great hosts and we could not have asked for a more relaxing place to stay: quiet beaches, residential area, with a great house.

We had a fantastic stay! The house is clean and comfortable with everything you need to have a great stay. We loved the spacious patio (and comfortable outdoor furniture) off the master bedroom, the fully equipped kitchen, the grills and fire pit and all the essentials for the beach. We’ve stayed in the Pointe West neighborhood before but this was our favorite stay so far. We plan to book this house again on our next trip.

We love this part of the Galveston beach - beautiful wide and clean beaches, not too crowded, and no driving on the beach in Pointe West (always scared us at other Texas beaches with little ones). One thing to note is that you are 20 miles west of Galveston, so if you want to be in town it is a bit of a drive. The owners are lovely and attentive. We took our son and his family with a five year old and twelve year old. This home is very well equipped to make your beach vacation effortless. There are three comfortable bedrooms and baths. It is equipped for comfort - the kitchen is very well equipped with spices, oils, plastic bags, and all needed dishes and pots and pans for cooking (we have rented homes with literally nothing in the kitchen, not even salt and pepper). Plentiful beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys, fishing equipment are provided. The beach club is great with the pools and restaurant - we had our lunch there every day. The beach is a short block from the house - we pulled the wagon with beach chairs and toys in it to the beach. When the ice cream truck came by our grandgirls flipped! We had to tell them what that meant - with cash in hand they ran down to get an ice cream. Old timey fun at its best. We made lovely memories here!

This house is so cute, a short walk from the beach and has tons of amenities. Great layout for 3 generations. Kitchen is well stocked and has baggies, spices, dish detergent, paper towels. You won’t need to bring all of that. Lots of nice touches like dog crates, games, beach towels. We spent a lot of time on the porch & grilled out. Pools were nice. Pretty views. We would highly recommend and hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay at It’s A Shore Thing. The beach house was immaculate. Every little detail was thought of to make our stay comfortable and easy. We felt like it was our own home! The kids (and adults) enjoyed having the golf cart to drive around the neighborhood and to the beach club. Access to the beach club was awesome - the kids loved playing in the baby pool and playing in the waves on the beach. Perfect family getaway!

I surely is as advertised, proximity to the beach is great, right out the door and down the path, just a few minutes. The neighborhood is very well kept up and the club pools and facilities are great too. The home is well appointed and very nice all around.

The place was very clean and has tons of amenities included. It is a short walk to a beautiful beach. There are two pools and a restaurant that are a short golf cart or car ride away. Highly recommended renting the golf cart too -- it made it so easy to get around, especially with the kids. The hosts are super responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place! The house is great, perfect location. Beach is 2 minute walk, pools are 4 minute golf cart ride. Erin and Jeff were great to work with. House was perfect for our group. Only issue that we had was food, we didn't realize that the nearest spot to buy some food is almost 30 minutes away. Once we got that figured out, everything was perfect.
