Fantastic time at this cozy cottage on the beach. There's something to be said for going to sleep and waking up to the sound of crashing waves. Highly recommend.

Our family of four loved our stay in the cottage. Being just a few steps away from the beach was a real game changer, allowing for all kinds of impromptu oceanside mini excursions whenever the mood struck. The property itself was immaculately clean upon arrival, had every amenitity you'd want, and generally provided a perfect home base for our family to recharge. Will absolutely book again for our next Galveston trip.

We've returned to the Cozy Beach Front Cottage for the 5th time now. The house was spotless and fully stocked. Wholly cow they have a hand mixer so we baked a cake for my mom's bday. The furniture is updated and very nice. I can say I slept well on the new sofa. This house as it all: closest to the beach, towel, sheets, pots, pans, coffee maker, etc. They even had some beach toys and boogie boards. We always enjoy this house and are so glad it's available for rent and that my furry four-legged baby is welcome. See you next year!!!

Had the best time. The best location you can possibly get. Very accomidating. Easy to work with owner. I've been taking my family there for six years now and will be back a seventh. I love the new furniture and no carpet. If your a big man like me avoid the footboard in the master. Maybe wear shin guards. I got beat up pretty good. Bring batteries for the remotes they were all dead. Want think Kathy for having my family again. Perfect stay perfect house

Unit needs a few things, but managed. Truly a nice place & plan on another visit!! Best vaca I've ever had in Galveston & enjoyed the historical district!! Ashton Villa is spectacular & home of Juneteenth!! The historical significance of this home is pride of my great state!!

Place is right on beach , beach front , my family my sons family and my brother stayed plenty of room , seeing the full moon was a highlight of one night and seeing my granddaughter have fun,Playing in the sand and chasing Lil crabbies at night made our weekend! So definitely is a must stay rental , rained at times but wasn't a deal breaker anyone who wants a private beach rental this is the place, just bring food and cold beer ! Only one thing would to have better lightning in the living room so when u eat but was not bad maby just some new bulbs needed but over all excellent rental thanks for having us be back soon..

3rd time staying at this property. On the west end of houses. Secluded to the west for 800 meters. Great for dog walks before the beach people come out. Love the little cottage on stilts. Reminds me of where I grew up in Florida. Only drawback is the outside area downstairs is not set up for preventing tracking dirt up the stairs and into the house. Water hose needs some thought!

Fun time with the family. Great location with relaxing porch to enjoy the awesome scenery.

We came in town for a bridal shower so it was my friend and I and our kids. It was a perfect fit for us and the kids loved how close it is to the beach.

Loved the private beach and house. Would highly recommend staying here. Everything was as it said it would be. Great place for a quiet family vacation.

My husband, our two teen kids, our dog, and I stayed in this beautiful cottage on the beach for a much needed recharge. The home was very clean and comfortably appointed. The somewhat secluded location meant that we were able to enjoy the beach much more privately than we could in a more "touristy" part of the island, and the covered porch meant that I could enjoy the beach without getting sunburned, even though I'm a redhead! :) Kathy was a very helpful and gracious host. We hope to come back soon!

The kids wanted to go swimming in the community pool but that only lasted 15 minutes cause the beach was their favorite. Kathy was awesome and very quick on response time. We had an amazing time in this true beach-front property. The reservation and check-in process was extremely simple and everything was exactly as described. This is right on the beach and is a wonderful property. Kathy is a great host and extremely responsive to any questions. We will be back!

I searched “beachfront” from every angle and they were never what I wanted…I wanted to make this trip special for my rescue puppy that never got to see the light of day before me. I wanted to open the door and let him run free on the beach and this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. It’s set off to the side a little bit so your beach access isn’t overwhelmed with other beach goers. It was quite and absolutely lovely. I guess the only complaint (not really though because that’s what I’m raving about as well) no food delivery 😅
