the location is good, it’s quiet at night and not too far from the city center. the rooms have a good size.

I feel really bad writing this but I wish we would have picked a different stay and I don’t really understand the overwhelmingly positive reviews of this place. before we came we received a message from the owner where we drink or not. having no idea of the culture and how things are handled I answered truthfully that we do when there’s something to celebrate but very rarely to which she replied that we wouldn’t give us the keys if we drink because it’s her house and she doesn’t want anyone intoxicated in there. This, I guess, is fair enough but it really spoiled the fun for me. we weren’t planning on drinking but the message was so rude that I didn’t look forward to the trip anymore. when we arrived the hostess wasn’t there and we had to call her and wait for her. she said that we should have said when we will be arriving, however, we texted to much about the alcohol thing that she could have also asked about that. I didn’t know that it’s not the kind of place where someone is always there. Then when she arrived she demanded a deposit which again, is sort of understandable but she could have warned us beforehand as we didn’t have a lot of money on us. She then proceeded to introduce me to all the rules she had around the house, which were all totally reasonable but the way she did it was very demanding and a bit rude. Also, she didn’t want to do the registration herself but at least gave me her phone to do it. however, having never done that before, I was a bit anxious to do it wrong as I knew there could be consequences to not filling it out. there were little bits of paper all around the house stating what you weren’t allowed to do in that place. you had to clean up after yourself everywhere and when you or someone else didn’t, new pieces of paper with rules appeared. I kept unclogging the shower drain whenever I was in the bathroom just because I did not want the hostess to tell me for the third time that there was hair.

The location is really good, the owner is nice and always answers to the questions. They greeted us at 2 am because we had late flight. It feels like a grandma’s home in a village - really comforting

the only thing is we were friends and couldn’t do fun at night time 😂 by the way it was peaceful

I absolutely loved my stay here. As I'm used to staying in regular hotels it took me a couple of days to get used to (this is very much a guest house and there are rules), but so glad I stayed in the end. The host is absolutely marvellous as is the property. Highly recommended.
