Nothing AVOID THIS PROPERTY UNCLEAN

Avoid this apartment. The photos make it look very nice but in reality the place is much smaller and very dark not much window light. The place is run down as well kitchen cupboards don’t close marks all on walls etc. however I could have dealt with all of this. The main issue is that this property is not cleaned. We arrived and it smelt of weed in the property and the bathroom had a strange smell. We then moved a tiny piece of furniture to make room for our travel cot and found chewing gum and cigarette butts on the floor. In the kitchen nothing was clean glasses had lipstick and finger prints on them. Cutlery was dirty and some had blood on it. I notified them straight away that I was not happy with the cleanliness of the apartment especially with a 4 month old baby. And asked to be moved- they didn’t have any other apartments free but said they could send a cleaner round in the morning. I explained this wasn’t a suitable option as I did not feel for health reasons it was safe to stay in this property with a baby. So I asked if they could refund me and I would find alternative accommodation for 2 nights. They refused to do this and have continued to charge us- even though we checked out 1-2hours later and moved to a hotel. It’s not an expensive stay so I could have dealt with it being small and the large amount of wear and tear. However you expect a place to be clean as a bare minimum and this was not. And from looking at other reviews I can see I’m not the only person who has had this complaint which makes me think they are not addressing the issue

Location was good for a night out in Kelham. Apartment bright and airy and clean.

Wrong code given for keys. Waited on hold for 5 mins with no answer. Another guest arrived with correct code.

- Communication with host was annoying... I don't know who they're trying to impress with their use of 'youth slang' for functional communication... - Instructions for key collection are mulit layered like the crystal maze, would not want to be doing that when tired! - No contact with staff other than cleaner who was v nice - Charges 10pounds per hour for late checkouts which we needed but it's a little draconian - Having to pay using their web interface is a little annoying

Good location. Nice apartment in general. Good check in process.

Shower facilities were disgusting. Shower heads and walls full of mould. Extractor fan clearly blocked causing further damp and mould.

The cleanliness of the apartment was impeccable, the apartment itself had everything we needed including towels for the shower, fresh linen, cleaning products etc to upkeep the cleanliness. The apartment felt homely and cosy, the security of the building created a sense of added safety and privacy.

Location was good. Appartment was clean and tidy. It was a quiet and clean area to stay in which was important because we hadn’t stayed here before.

Could have done with a tea towel and maybe a microwave. The blinds need to be updated they aren’t easy to access and use and didn’t block out light. It didn’t help that the windows are not easily accessible to let fresh air in, and that may well be a necessary drawback of being a converted chapel.

Really easy to access the property. Directions provided made it easy to find. Everything was explained clearly and given in a timely fashion. There wasn't an overload of information, it was clear and concise. The host were excellent at responding with 10mins. The apartments were within walking distance to town, if you're a walker also right by transport links of tram and bus, so caters to everyone. There is also a Tesco round te corner which made it easy to stock up on food or anything I wanted for the apartment.

On the booking site it said check in between 4- 8. My colleague wanted to book her own apartment but was put off by that time as she was getting into Sheffield after 10pm, So I wondered if it's all self service to get the keys and get into the building why is there such a small window for check in. For anyone staying in the colder months you definitely need to pull the sofa away from the wall and from being under the window but once I done that the apartment felt cosy again.
