Lack of some items that are we feel are standard in a rental e.g. cafetiere, breadknife. Some cleaning problems - kitchen cupboards were grubby, corners of room dirty.

Close to Chester City Centre

Parking very narrow road and impossible to manoeuvre cars

Lovely house right next to the canal and only a few minutes by car to get to the centre. You can easily get to Cheshire Oaks or the zoo from here too. The house itself was really clean and tidy. Parking on the road is pretty tight but we always managed to find a spot! Blake & Jen left a guide on the coffee table of places and restaurants they recommend along with taxi numbers which was a really nice touch :)

Beds were comfy and property in good location.

Property was tired, walls and carpet was dirty. Didn’t ruin the stay but could do with some renovation.

Beautiful, cosy house. Well supplied and equipped. Very conveniently located to town, bus routes, and canal walks

Lovely location great communication from the host, cosy fire and lovely bedding and comfortable beds, was quiet too

The location is great, a short walk along the canal into Chester and Waitrose is one way and Aldi and home bargains the other down the canal near the house. Has all the things you could wish for in the kitchen and a washing machine/dryer is very useful. Beds comfy and linen and towels were all immaculate.

The yard could be tidied up a little to allow us sit out and enjoy the sunshine a bit more. Parking on the street is very tight, but we could always find a space.
