Interesting back story (explained in the welcome binder on the desk). Right on St. Elmo Ave, but really appreciated the gravel pull-through parking alongside. Easy access to Virginia Ave Greenway (scoot to ice cream!) St. Elmo is a great neighborhood, and this met our needs for a great weekend!

Staying in an updated historic loft that is beautifully decorated, made us feel so comfortable. There is a park across the street and the loft is near the base of Lookout Mountain. There is so much to see and do within a few minutes walk or short drive. The scenery was beautiful and so was the architecture in the neighborhood. Local people were helpful. We will be back because there is more to explore.

This place is just as gorgeous as the pictures made it out to be, was well stocked with everything we needed for trip, and was just simply awesome. These hosts have thought carefully about everything you might need to make your stay more comfortable and executed the hospitality to perfection. My kids are 10 and 8 and loved the park that’s basically across the street. There was some traffic noise, but that didn’t impact our love of the place. Additionally, if you have super young kids, be aware that the shelves are open and glass cups may be within reach. I would gladly stay here every time I come back to Chattanooga. It hits all the “cool vibes” and “useful things you need” boxes.

The property was clean, unique, well appointed, and comfortable. We enjoyed the amenities as well as the location being close to hiking, downtown, Lookout mountain, North Shore and St Elmo’s development.

We absolutely loved our visit at the st.elmo loft. Loved everything about it. We recommend it to any couple or small family wanting to just get away for a few days. We were celebrating a birthday weekend and ended up having dinner at 1885. Most other times we just hung out there and relaxed. Was perfect stay.

Loved staying here! The place was hip and the bed was very comfortable the only thing that was a small issue was how long it took to heat the place but once it got up there it worked better. The water was great and we really liked everything about it! Would stay here again!

The pictures from the internet DO NOT lie. The loft is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. We only wish we had more time to enjoy it!

The rental is an old grocery store turned into a one bedroom with a great room. It’s MASSIVE. There was plenty of room for us, and our preteen niece and nephew! They even got their own beds with the futons. The location is great- ten minutes from the aquarium and literally around the corner from Lookout Mountain. Be aware, the blinds in the front are not blackout, and the street lamp outside is very bright. We ended up getting eye masks for the kids, but it wasn’t the end of the world. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Thank you!

Had a great time staying here. The place was convenient to all the amenities within Chattanooga. It is a little noisy as it is on a main street through town. I highly recommend this place to a couple looking for a convenient place to stay to take advantage of all Chattanooga has to offer

My husband, our daughter from another state, and I had the pleasure of staying in this clean, well stocked property in a wonderful residential neighborhood in Chattanooga. The location of the property was very close to area attractions and had easy access to local highways. If we ever have the pleasure of coming to this area again, we will definitely try to stay here.

We’ve stayed in several places in Chattanooga in the past few years for our Ironman events. This place was the best. Has a super cool vibe, really well presented, and convenient. We’d definitely book again

The place was very clean, had most of the amenities we could ever need. There is alot of road noise, but it's fairly muffled in the back bedroom. It would probably be bothersome if people were sleeping on the couch or something, but it didnt bother us one bit. The design of the place was outstanding, we really enjoyed staying here. Pretty central location, not too far from anything really. Great deal....... great time. Thank you...... (we stayed for a couple days for our 15th Anniversary)...... Thank you very much!

The photos in the listing are gorgeous — and the reality exceeded expectations! The decor is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed is SO comfortable, luxury towels and even spa robes. We were VRBO hosts ourselves for awhile and know what it takes to do this well. This is the best rental we’ve stayed in. We will be back.

We absolutely loved the accommodations! The VRBO was unique, fun and had everything we needed. We stayed 4 nights and mountain biked 4 different areas, all very easy to get to from the VRBO. The owners have done such a cool renovation job on the old store!

We had originally planned to stay in the loft for 2 nights and in a downtown hotel the following 2 nights. We loved the place so much that we stayed there the entire trip. The property manager was excellent to work with and responded quickly to any questions. Everything we wanted to do was just a short drive away and Chattanooga is a great place to explore!

We loved the property!! It was so cute and clean and the perfect size for us. The road was a little noisy but everyone still slept well and my kids loved the playground across the street!

Property is beautifully decorated. Great location not too far from downtown Chattanooga and very close to Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls. The bed was the best we’ve ever slept in!!! Loft was clean overall but needed to be dusted in some areas. Other than that our stay was perfect and we look forward to staying here again!

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this place! Absolutely every detail was thought out and provided! We took a road trip right after Christmas so it was a little chillier than our Florida home. St. Elmo's was so cozy and everything was comfy - the bed, the pillows, sofas, and even a furry throw to cuddle under while reading or watching TV. The location was close to everything we wanted to do and the restaurant recommendations were spot on! We loved the historic charm of the neighborhood, the funky decor of the building, and the creative use of space. I really appreciated the plush robes and the supply of coffee, laundry soap, and dishwasher soap (again, the details!). We have already recommended St. Elmo's to friends and family and they are "jazzed" to stay!

We really enjoyed this unique stay!! The deco was awesome, bed super comfortable, swing in the living room fun! We loved the playground across the street!!! Very close to pizza, the incline railway & lots more. Definitely recommend & I had several ask where this was during my stay from pics posted!
