Everything was perfect would do it again! It was straight across the street from my parents old condo lots of memories!! First experience making arrangements for stay. Avocado Festival is a family tradition. Parents lived in Carp for 35 years. Very special place.

Loved the proximity to the beach, as well as the cool, blue beach decor. We felt very at home, as it had all the amenities we needed. Thanks for a great 41st anniversary stay!

Exactly as pictured. I couldn’t figure out the parking gate but there was plenty of street parking that was accessible to the unit. Carp is such a great little town & this apartment is the perfect walkable location to enjoy it.

This is the prettiest and most modern rental I’ve stayed in! So clean, with lots of kitchen supplies and storage for our stuff. Very close to the beach and business district. It was easy to rent and check in/ out. Would recommend!

Apartment is very small, but still adequate for only two people. Unfortunately, storage space needed by guests are taken up by unnecessary decor. Example: 1) Hallway console cabinet needed for storing suitcases/backpacks is cluttered with sea-themed glassware, and cabinets are filled with owner's items. 2) Hallway space needed for ice chests and backpacks is cluttered with retro-style decor suitcases and a huge decorative bottle. 3) Kitchen shelving needed for storing guest food items like cereal, coffee, tea, and canned goods is cluttered with 20+ drinking glasses and 10+ coffee mugs, yet management allows only 2 guests. 4) Apartment has 4 heavy metal, rustic (and uncomfortable) bar stools, when only 2 bar stools are needed. Hard to sit on if you don't have much of a tush. 5) Living room space is taken up by a bulky square rolling coffee table. A much smaller table would open up the area. 6) Floating shelf over the toilet is perfect for storing guests' personal hygiene products, but holds a large metal fish decoration, making shelf useless. Other issues - inadequate lighting in dining/living room area. It's impossible to read at night in that area. Suggest brighter bulb over the counter; eliminate end table to the left of the couch and place a pole light with bright LED bulbs. Apartment is warm because the two sky lights are stuck in the closed position, making cross ventilation impossible via the living room window. We could not open sky lights.

We had a wonderful week's vacation in Carpentaria and stayed in this very cute, very turquoise gem! It was small but had a private comfy sleeping area, a wonderful shower, and a kitchen with everything one needs! Would definitely stay there again!

Had everything that you need for a short trip. The detailed instructions made it pretty easy to self check in. It's barely a few steps from the beach.

Got a little chilly in the evenings, unit has small wall heater for entire unit but other than that. It was nice. I would stay here again.

Everything was fine. I had a TV issue but it was addressed quickly. House was neat and clean.

Unit is very small (3 would be a crowd) yet quite nicely appointed. Loved the bathroom tile! Complex location is fantastic…unit is in the back, upstairs. Walls are thin, so you can hear the neighbors and someone nearby smoked cigs, which is a distraction from the wonderful ocean air. Amenities seemed a bit light…a few bottles of water would be a nice touch.

Beautiful. Upgraded decor and clean. Of course so convenient to walk across the street to the beach. However .. 2 of us staying 7 days and only 4 towels to shower? Then after calling about it we were brought 2 more and told there is laundry onsite... Wash your own towels. I am capable of doing this but should not have to or told to do so. 7 days and 4 towels is a little ridiculous. Oh.. I did laundry to have clean towels.

Great location, very close to the beach! Very clean and I appreciated all the amenities that were available. Only bad thing is that it is very tiny, I wasn’t prepared for that. Also the cable did not work while we were there.

Good location, nice property. One note, It will be nice to have shoe-rack and more space for baggage in the entry instead of decorations like fake baggage, shelf etc.. You can add a portable rack to dry wet towels and swimming suits ☺️.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking to spend time in Carpinteria. It's just steps from the beach and within walking distance to everything in town. Highly recommend.

I wish it had more light in the living room and a big TV. I had one problem I had paperwork from the renter. That we had until 11am. But cleaning lady was there at 10:05. We were getting ready to walk out the door.

This property was great! If you don’t plan on spending too much time in the room, this works great for a couple. The location was perfect for walking to the beach or into town. We had a great time!
