View from the lanai was beautiful and the location was great! Enjoyed our stay.

Some general comments regarding our stay:When we arrived we had a small housekeeping issue but this was addressed right away. We found the water pressure in the kitchen very low so at times I would wash out items in the bathroom sink which had better water pressure. The patio door was not smooth which made it difficult to open and close.There was no hand soap in the bathroom. A minor thing I know but something that is missed when you don't have it.

Reviewer Comments: The property was exactly as described.The studio suite was clean and well maintained for the most part.The only problem we had was the bed.The springs on one side were broken causing it to be uncomfortable. Before we left we notified the company about it so hopefully it will be is one of the better companies that we have delt with. We would recommend them to our friends. It is in a central location. Close to the beach,restaurants,and shopping. We liked how much security they had in place.

The maintenance needs were addressed immediately, the guys were personable and and we thank you! The view was fantastic and the bed were very comfortable. The elevators were quick and smooth riding, we liked the convenience store, the restaurant and the pool area (although it was closed for one week due to renovation). There are definite needs within the condo property itself. (1) There needs to be a full paint job for the property as some areas are beige and some areas are painted white. (2) The overhead microwave should be fixed or taken out. The second microwave takes up much needed counter space. (3) The bathroom door does not shut as it is off it's hinges and the bottom of the door is badly chipped. (4) The lanai door does not shut properly. (5) The wainscoting appears to be from the original room, it needs to be replaced. Overall maintenance of this property would be a welcomed upgrade at a minimal expense.

This property was a good value for the money. Having a small kitchen worked out great. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The building was right next to the canal and had a nice view.

Island Colony is a great location and the building has laundry, a convenience store, book lending library, water bottle refill station, bbq grills, and more. We loved this unit far more than the resort where we stayed at first. I highly recommend Ali'i Beach Rentals.
