View is great.

This is a sterile environment with little personality. It ticks all the boxes for a hotel room with a small kitchen.

The view is incredible! Definitely great to sit on the porch and watch the sunset.

Only complaint is that the fridge could be bigger. The bar size fridge could barely fit a wine bottle.

This is a beautiful place and very well equipped. 2 bedrooms each with a bath and a kitchen and dining area. The top room has a balcony to watch the magnificent sunsets. It is about 10 minutes from the center of Santa Elena so you do really need a car.

You can't really start talking about this place without mentioning the view. We were lucky enough to always have a great weather and the sunsets were just AMAZING. You can literally lay in the bed and watch the sunset though the wall-sized window. The best hotel view we've seen during our trip. The reception will arrange any activities you might want during your stay. Since the breakfast was not included, we went to Orchid Coffee - highly recommended. The room has a kitchen and the bathroom is roomy.

The roads to Monteverde are terrible, watch out for the potholes out of nowhere and asphalt suddenly ending. The hotel is kind of far from the main village, so those that get scared easily may not feel comfortable there as the place is somewhat secluded (just 6 apartments in the whole complex) and there are random people coming to see the sunset and party next to the gate (we didn't find them loud).

We love the place, everything is perfect.

Check-in hall is at another place instead of where you stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Vista Lodge. The room was clean airy and roomy, and the view was spectacular! Bed was really comfortable and the kitchen was just lovely!

The shower temperature wasn't high enough for the winter.

I could not get tired of the amazing view over the gulf of Nicoya. Sunsets were really impressive!

A car is a must as the property is away from the main town. Shower was mostly cold. Decoration is a bit too rustic for my taste but some people might like it. Extremely windy location!

Absolutely loved this place!! It has such an amazing view, unfortunately we came in rain season but still, the peaceful surrounding and beautiful view is stunning! Service was really, they have in house laundry service, the apartment was spacious and clean, definitely would want to return!
