A few buildings that were unused and a bit run down detracted from the location We could not find the host on arrival and had to call. It was a hassle in the dark As it was off season a lot of renovation work was taking place and a little noisy - not too bad

Great location with a beautiful view. Perfect for young families. Spacious apartment. Gerry was always a pleasure to deal with.

On a few nights we could hear other guests very late at night (sitting on their balcony) and they were quite loud at times.

The third time we visited Emerald Suites!! Great location, walking distance from Green Bay which is a lovely and clean beach. Spacious apartment, modern, well equipped. Gerry is also really helpful, we forgot to get some clothes on checkout and he helped us to get them back afterwards.

The smell from the bathroom, it seems that there is an issue as we had the same problem 1 year ago when we visited again. We also visited in June but there was no smell so we were not expecting it. Maybe because we got the ground floor apartment this time. Also even if overall the apartment is clean this time once we arrived I noticed that there was sand in the shower floor. One last point, there is only 1 key for the room even if the room is for 6 people but Gerry helped to get a second one with a deposit. Even though I will visit again as overall there are really nice apartments at a great location.

There was an odour occasionally from the sewages

The location. The buildings are located just a few mins walk from 2 beautiful beaches.

Essentially everything else. I had 2 terrible experiences at Emerald. On my 1st 4 days stay I was given a ground floor room, with an unbearable sewage smell and parking view (rather than the sea view I had paid for). As there was no alternative room and following lots of complains (this was honestly my worst stay ever), I was offered a 2nd stay free of charge a few weeks later, which I appreciated and decided to accept. To my utmost shock, I was given another room just above the previous one, again smelling sewage, this time also with a non functioning AC dripping huge amounts of water on us, while sleeping. So we found ourselves living another horrible experience and holiday, without AC during a heatwave. What is worse, all these issues were existing and well-known (and acknowledged) by the management, who yet decided to ignore and still rent the rooms. It appears clear the building is very poorly managed, and mine was not an isolated event but rather the usual way customers are treated and things are ran. On top, I find rooms very basic, badly maintained and poorly cleaned. I would never recommend this accommodation, and honestly I feel this is really a scam for tourists who could definitely find much much better on the island for this (high) price. Dear visitors of Cyprus, please spend your precious money elsewhere!

Nice brand new modern apartments with great views of the sea. Beaches a very short walk away. Reasonably clean. Manager of the block very helpful and courteous.

Cleanliness Ok but bathrooms could be better. One of our bathrooms had a bad sewage smell that would not dissipate. Also, some water cuts while we were there so we ran out of water one evening. They need to install emergency tanks as this is a common problem in Protaras.

The services provided by Mr. Gerry were of the highest standards, nothing was too much for him. We liked almost everything: the view, the matresses, the ac, the kitchen appliances, the furniture.

There was sewer odour in the bathrooms. The sofa in the living room was broken. But the worst was the fact that on our last day there was no water, neither in the taps (kitchen or toilet) nor to flush the toilets.

The pool.was not so clean, and the AC of the leaving room was not working properly.

the hotel is perfect. Clean, comfortable and Jerry the manager was always there for us. He is the greatest manager we ever had during our holidays. The place is very close to the beaches and you can walk from the hotel to other beaches in Protaras. We will be back next year.

Nice flat , good location but…

Bad smell coming from toilet, the ac on the living room was not working and there is no black out curtain in the bedroom. The bedroom is from the side of the morning sun , so at 6 o clock morning time the sun is on your face so you have to wake up.

Emerald Suites is a fantastic place to stay about 30 minutes walk from Protarus strip The apartments are above and beyond an amazing standard just a tip tho the apartments are not cleaned during your stay so maybe take or look to buy washing powder etc. for during your stay to swill out towels/ sheets (depending how long you stay! There's a lovely pool and also 2 beautiful little beaches 2 minutes walk away with a lovely beach cafe Gerry is fantastic and goes above and beyond to make your holiday enjoyable

The personal approach. Great location to a quiet beach. Especially love coming there in winter when there are not a lot of people and the sea is extra spectacular. The apartments are specious and very comfortable.

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by the hotel manager, Gery. He was very pleasant and promptly addressed all our requests. There was a sandy carpet in the room and after our request for it to be cleaned, it was completely replaced. A huge thanks to Gery for his courtesy and attentiveness. We were at the hotel with a child and due to our child's needs, we had to check out later than planned. Gery was accommodating and willingly agreed to our request.

We were not particularly pleased with the lack of ramps for strollers; everywhere there were only steps. Although this was not a critical issue, it was a noticeable inconvenience. The parking system requires getting out of the car each time to enter a code at the barrier, which was not particularly user-friendly. The rooms did not have black-out curtains, so if a child does not sleep in complete darkness, this could pose a problem. Despite these inconveniences, we still enjoyed our stay, primarily thanks to the exemplary service from the staff
