Our family loved the property! We had 4 adults and 5 children. The kids loved the beach & water area. It kept them so busy being able to play in the sand and in the roped off area for swimming. We loved paddle boating & kayaking. I would definitely recommend renting the pontoon. We took pontoon rides at least twice a day & also anchored to swim out in the middle of the lake. We cant wait to visit the property again next year. We are already booked!

Wonderful lake house. Nice fishing right off the dock. My husband caught a 19 inch bass and my son-in-law caught a 12 inch bass. The kids enjoyed fishing, swimming, pontoon rides, and smores around the campfire. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious! We all had a great time.

We had a wonderful time at this very clean well kept cottage. We had 9 adults and a 2 year old. This place has it all! Great layout for large groups. Plenty of couches and seats for everyone. Meals are easy to make with the fully stocked kitchen, large outdoor gas grill, loads of counter space, chairs, and big dining table. We had a rain day so we got to enjoy the game room with Pac-Man, air hockey , basketball, contests. Just like an arcade! Of course the outside is perfect, with it’s sandy beach, the crystal clear water, fishing off the dock, well keep kayaks and paddle boats , all were very clean and lots of seating by the water. Even outside games too!! Lots to do! We rate this a 10 out of 10. We love it so much we stayed here 2 years in a row.

The cottage was perfect for our 4 day getaway.😊 The owners supplied everything! Just sitting looking out the beautiful picture window was relaxing. Our young granddaughters had a great time playing on the beach and in the water. Also enjoyed boat rides on their very nice pontoon boat. Hope to return next summer.

We are 6 women over 65.When we arrived there was adequate parking including the garage. The house is beautiful as the pictures. We had everything we needed. We didnt need to go out and buy anything. The beds were very comfortable. Pots and pans, bowls and utensils were plenty. The lake and the neighborhood were awesome. Highly recommend you book here!! And the owners were very communicable. 10 stars

Siblings, spouses and mother stayed for a long weekend. It was exactly like the pictures! It was an awesome house! Many little extras and amenities. Although the weather wasn't good enough for swimming, we were able to spend a lot of time on the deck, porch and camp firing at night! Having the grill available was great as well. Our stay was great. There was plenty of room for all of us there, a husband and I our adult kids and their spouses and two grandchildren. The new sandy beach was wonderful. There are two kayaks and peddle boats to use as stated. We also rented their pontoon boat. The lake was not busy. There were a lot of games and books that we didn’t use really because we were so busy enjoying the water.

The rental was great. It had a nice size open area kitchen, great view and sandy beach area with plenty of toys/Floaties for kids!

Angela & Eric’s place was such a gem! It had everything you could want for a weekend at the lake for a multigenerational family. The views off the porch and out the back window are stunning and the sandy beach area (with toys) and shallow lake entry was a win for the kids and the adults. The basement filled with games was fun for all and great memories were made around the campfire. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer.

We just returned from a wonderful week at Alpha on the Lake in Addison, MI. The home was extremely clean and there were little touches that made us feel immediately welcomed. The home is large and well laid out. The kitchen and dining area open up to the family room with a great view of the lake. The bedrooms and sleeper/sofa in the basement were all very comfortable. Kayaking, paddle boating, beach area, and game room were all well used. Angela and Eric were perfects hosts, responding to any questions promptly.

This was for our annual family vacation. My siblings, my parents and our children. The for kids would live in water if they could. This was the perfect place for that. 80% of time was in water and 20% in basement game room. It met all of our needs and expectations! Definitely will keep in mind for future vacations!

The lake house was perfect for our multi-generational family trip! Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The Great Room was so spacious with ample comfortable seating to play games at night. The sandy beach was worth its weight in gold for all of the kids to play on!!! It was fun watching all of the fish & minnows in the clear water! All of us enjoyed using the kayaks & paddle boats to explore the lake. We rented the pontoon boat for one day and had a wonderful time riding around looking at all of the homes and fishing. It would have been perfect if it would've been equipped for tubing. The kitchen was well stocked and had all of the essential needs. The kids loved the basement, but truth be told they didn't use it much because the weather was gorgeous and they were outside most of the time. All-in-all, our family made the best memories while there!

This property exceeded out expectations! The house & grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The beach area was great for the kids & we all got use of the pedal boats & kayaks. The lake was clean & we had the best time swimming in it. The games in the basement were definitely an added bonus for keeping the kids entertained. Beds we’re comfortable (always an added bonus) & the kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need. I would absolutely book here again!!! Thanks for having us!

We rented this lake home for a long weekend to be near friends that own on South Lake. Great space for our family of eight, six adults and two toddlers. Home was very clean, beds were comfortable,well stocked kitchen and many extras for playing in the sand and in the water. Renting the pontoon was a nice bonus. A very nice rental home.

Are family of 9 adults and 3 little ones stayed. It was the perfect size house for us. We appreciated being right on the lake with a small beach. The house was fully furnished with all necessities. We did bring a few lawn chairs that we needed to use at the beach, otherwise everything we needed was there. We did use the kayaks and boat. Are only complaint maybe would be that it is a very small lake.

My family and I just returned from a wonderful week at Angela and Eric’s beautiful lake home. Everything was great. The home was extremely clean and there were little touches that made us feel immediately welcomed. The home is large and well laid out. The ladies all loved the spacious kitchen which opens up to the family room which has a great view of the lake. The kids enjoyed the lower level with the games and large selection of movies. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and having two full baths was very nice, especially with twelve people. There are many places to sit outside and enjoy the breeze from the lake. The gas grill was well used, especially for our annual family “Rib Off” contest. Everyone spent a good amount of time outside sitting on the covered swing, on the deck at the umbrella table, or sitting the pontoon boat. Hours were spent on the paddle boat or exploring the lake by kayak. The pontoon boat was used for relaxing boat rides or as a platform for fishing (which was very good). This was the perfect set up for our group. We had 4 toddlers (2 under 2) and 6 adults. Plenty of room with plenty to do. Added bonus was having the boat with the house as the group could be accommodated based on nap schedules, etc. Angela & Eric were super nice, welcoming and responsive. We even got a fireworks show that we could see from the lake on the 2nd. Would recommend this place to everyone I know!

We really enjoyed our stay at Alpha on the Lake. Check in was easy and the entire house was very clean and comfortable. The setup is really good because there is plenty of room inside (nice game room and spacious family room) if the weather is bad and a deck, dock and boats if the weather is good. The host is responsive and has obviously put in a lot of time and effort to make your stay enjoyable.

We stayed here with our two children and five grandsons. There was plenty of room for all of us, whether we wanted alone time or room for all of us to enjoy a movie or play a game together. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the lake with the kayaks, paddle boats, playing in the sand, fishing, and we even rented the pontoon for a day. Great memories were made! The hosts were very responsive to all questions and requests. I actually think the pictures don't do the house justice. It's a beautiful home. We hope to return in the future!

This is a nice property for a family stay. Lots for our family to do…boating, swimming, games and plenty of room to relax.

This was truly like a home away from home. It had everything we needed and a great view! Everyone, from our young kids to the grandparents, loved the house, the new sandy beach, the lake activities and fire pit. There was so much to do inside and outside. We hope to be back!

House was very clean and spacious. From the lake side windows we were able to watch the sunrise, thunderstorms and lightning. We relaxed on the many couches drinking coffee while watching the ducks on the lake. Although the weather wasn’t ideal, the kids were able to catch 5 fish. Time was also spent in the game room downstairs. Minimal time spent on the phones. Just relaxing family time. Lunch at Jerry’s was great also.

Perfect spot for a large group!

We rented this house for our son’s wedding at the Irish Hills Wedding Barn. The house had plenty of space for people to relax and plenty of space for wedding food prep. The game room in the basement was a hit for the kids. The venue was only 3 minutes away, too. Thinking about returning for a family MIS weekend!

Very comfortable, fabulous main room with lovely lake views. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well-equipped. We enjoyed the fire pit, the kayaks, the game room. We decided to rent the pontoon boat also (extra charge) and enjoyed it, although the small lake limits the experience. Overall, it was a great house as a home base for our family reunion activities.
