Property could use TLC but everything in description was there. Disappointed when arrived pool was green after letting property manager know that was the main reason for renting his property. Took 3 days to get someone out and then another day to start clearing up. Stay was nice, some items need TLC. Furniture outside rusting, some of deck boards loose, filter on fridge needs replacing-several years old, elevator was great. Overall nice stay-biggest disappointment was the green pool. Oh- there is only one bunk bed with a pull out mattress and it does not hold much weight. Description made it sound like 2 bunk beds. Thank goodness we didn't need that room. No fish or crabs big enough to keep but that was not promised, fun trying though. Very nice quiet place overall would probable refer others.

Absolutely perfect setting for our home base while adventuring to New Orleans, and the coast in Bay St Louis. Relaxing. Quiet. Caught a crab with the baskets. Perfect pool time. Cozy beds. Movie nights in the outdoor living space. Nice touch… The elevator that we used to carry up big grocery halls in our luggage. I have a recommended for a couples, small groups and small families. Absolute perfection.

Easy check in. Owner answered questions quickly. Comfortable home with plenty of space for my family of 4 plus our four legged baby. The house is on a canal that had a boat launch [didn't use] and a dock. On the dock 2 crab baskets were there... my daughters caught a couple of crabs each day.. we always threw them back in but it was alot of fun and something we had never experienced. It was also fun having our own pool. Though the water was cold that didnt stop us.. well not the kids... you know how kids are. Hahahah. We used the fire pit once which a little firewood was provided which was nice. Quiet neighborhood about 3 miles to the beach. The only drawback was the vegetation around rhe pool was lush so every morning the pool was full of debris when every evening we would leave it spotless. And the towels and bed linens could be upgraded but wasn't a big deal. The beds were comfortable. Last but certainly not least the house has a stand up video game that has several games to play including pac man and Galaga. I am a Galaga champion so that worked out well for me. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

This was our second year staying at the blue house and it just as relaxing as the year before. The house was clean, the beds very comfy. We love having two decks to sit in the sun and the outside patio area for shade! My husband is an artist and he uses the downstairs kitchen as a studio!

Upstairs was very spacious and really clean. The pool was great and our kids liked fishing for crabs off the dock! Had everything we needed, was close to everything and owner was very responsive. Downstairs room could be cleaner, could use better towels and new pool furniture, otherwise perfect! Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay. My wife especially loved the neighborhood cat that kept coming around. The property had everything you need for a stay. We will be back next year.

The inside seemed fairly clean. Carpets need either a deep clean or replacement. I was a bit disappointed with the outside conditions, very uninviting. The gate was broke, fire pit had overgrown shrubs and weeds . Outdoor furniture could be replaced. There was rust on the furniture. The downstairs enclosed fish room was absolutely disgusting. It smelled and had garbage all over. I felt the pictures made everything look better than it was in person. The house was big and spacious.

Great place to stay. Nice neighborhood. A little disappointed with the construction going on across the street. Pretty noisy during the day, but I realize it wasn't the owners fault.

This was our second summer stay here and we plan to do this every year! Our family (4 adults, 2 children, 2 dogs), loves everything about this beautiful home. It gives us privacy and still close to everything we needed. We had so much fun fishing, then cooling off in the pool, and then repeating that - several times a day! All is so well thought out, making fun times easy and hassle free. Like the ground floor restroom/laundry room. Super convenient after a day of fishing & swimming. Thanks for another wonderful summertime family vacation memory! And thank you, Mr. Robert C., for being such a wonderful host!

Family vacation. We fished and crabbed on the pier. We swam in the pool. We cooked on the porch. We enjoyed nearby beaches and attractions. Fun times

There was nothing major wrong with the house and the interior was lovely. Nice and cold when we arrived which was appreciated when unloading vehicles going up and down stairs. Yes I know there is an elevator we chose not to use it. There could be better supplies like pool towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies (broom, spray to wipe down counters, more than 1 dishwasher pod, etc). The pool and decks need some upkeep. The plants and trees are overgrown causing lots of leaves in the pool every day and the gates and decking are in not great shape. The pool chairs need replaced as one was missing a leg. I did not alert the owner while there as none of this could be addressed during our stay. We had 1 issue with the master bedroom locking and the owner handled the situation immediately. The house was very clean and that is the most important! The fishing from the dock is plentiful as well.

Being able to take family and not have to spend tons of money by having the pool on location and beach nearby made it an inexpensive home away from home. We cooked in and enjoyed all the room this place has to offer. Kids enjoyed seeing crabs out back—couple made it to the pool (on their own). We will definitely be back to this place!

This property was everything we needed. Relaxing pool, fishing out back, close to grocery stores, beach and restaurants. Communication with Robert was very quick ans easy.

Just love this property! This was our 2nd stay and won’t be our last as it did not disappoint us at all! Such a great and private get away, away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough if we care to join it!

The house was spacious, in a good neighborhood and in a great location close to local restaurants and activities. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool and the water access. We were 6 adults, a 2 year old and a 10 month old and had plenty of space to hang out. Our only issue is that the house could use a deep clean and had some carpet that could definitely use a deep cleaning (or be removed) and allergies were aggravated because of it.

The house is a perfect getaway. It is a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. The backyard is perfect with plenty of seating. When you are seating in the yard the rest of the world fades away. The house accomodations all of our needs. We would love to stay again.

We enjoyed a low key getaway and visit with family there and the house had everything thing we needed. Peace, quiet, and a short drive to all the gulf coast has to offer.

We rented this property for us and our 5 children to stay in for Christmas. It was perfect and exactly as listed. Close to town but far enough away for some privacy. Quiet neighborhood. The property is beautiful. The pool, the yard, the dock on the river, and even the little orange trees in the front yard. The inside of the home is equally as beautiful and extremely homey. There were plenty of games to keep the kids occupied for hours. The large kitchen made it a breeze to make meals for our family. The beds were comfortable too which was a plus. We were surprised to see a fully lit and decorated Christmas tree when we walked in the door. Very nice touch. It's exactly 1 hour to New Orleans (on a light traffic day)! Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend Christmas. Thank you!

We enjoyed our time at the house. The weather didn’t cooperate for the nice pool but we were able to purchase some firewood nearby and have a lovely fire in the fire pit. The TVs in each room were wonderful to have.

Really nice. Our 3 dogs were welcome. This was a wonderful relaxing vacation.

The property was absolutely beautiful. We were there for four days and had a Halloween themed wedding that turned out just lovely. The space was easy to decorate and use for entertaining and the property owner was prompt to respond to any concerns we had. We fell in love with the charm of the place and have even considered looking for property to purchase down there.!!

We actually came to Bay St Louis to look around because we are relocating very soon and it did not disappoint. We loved the house and the pool and dock were great also. Everyone fished and enjoyed the pool everyday. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you again for letting us borrow your home for a week!

We had an awesome time! The home was very comfortable and clean! We loved playing with the board games and the pool! The yard was great for our dogs. Just a really great gathering place! All the comforts home! Can’t wait to go back!
