It is so amazing at this price — super beautiful and minimalistic design and architecture, also we liked the location. Everything for your comfort to have rest after a long day of outdoor activities. Highly recommend. The host was very nice and polite and gave us champagne as a welcome drink.

This is a beautiful, newly constructed house with high-quality wood finishes throughout. All rooms are spacious and I particularly enjoyed the main bathroom window and its view of the large tree in front of the house. Maria, the host, was extremely helpful from the moment we made the reservation. She provided clear instructions for accessing the house and the process was easy to follow. She also sent the location via Waze, and the picture of the house gate made it simple to find the entrance. We had no issues during our stay. The complimentary wine was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. The house is located about 4km from Santa Elena town, and while most of the road is dirt, it is only a 10-minute drive if taken at a leisurely pace. Overall, a great experience.

brand new and modern house. has 2 bedrooms with private bathroom each and a sofa bed in the living room. can be great for famelies.

it's couple of minutes drive from the town center and restaurants but the roads to the house are in terrible shape. the water in the bathrooms was not hot. we didn't contact anyone about it so we don't know if it was a problem that could be fixed.

Beautiful and very spacious villa with everything you need. Less than 10 min drive to the village. Maria the manager/owner was very friendly and helpful.

The roads in the area are in bad condition, 4x4 car is recommended.

Very beautiful and modern home that was very clean. Great amenities. Maria was available of needed and very sweet. Location was great- close enough to everything yet still very quiet.

Shower heads were great, but seemed a bit too high flow for the hot water to keep up so showers were not terribly warm. Sink water was hot, though. Although Maria offered more towels if we sought her out and asked, more in the home would've been nice, especially since nothing dries well in such a humid environment. A few more decorations in the home might help with echoing.

The house is very modern and recently constructed. Well appointed kitchen, great water pressure in the shower, and the host was a pleasure to work with, making many helpful recommendations about the area.

No issues, except you should try to arrive during the day on your first arrival. The road can be a bit bumpy.

The villa appeared to be brand new. High ceilings made for a spacious experience. The hosts worked hard to make our stay great, and they volunteered information about places to see and restaurants to choose. One of the windows leaked water into the kitchen during the heavy rains, and the host fixed this w quickly.

The massive villa still needs some effort to make it feel like a home - the bare walls and carpetless stone floors are a bit too impersonal for me. The driveway, a gravel surface with a 30 degree incline, is a challenge if you drive a standard car - but then again, your probably haven't made it this far on the local roads if your car is not quite sturdy.

House / water temperature a little bit cold The house is not into the village. I very appreciate to walk (~30 / 40 min) every day to monteverde, but for some people, it could be a little bit far without a car.
