Wir wurden sehr herzlich von den Eltern des Host empfangen! Sie haben uns regelrecht mit fantastischem Essen (Reis und Curry) und singhalesischem Morgenessen und vielem mehr verwöhnt! Sie waren sehr herzlich, halfen uns mit allem was wir brauchten und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Das Apartement im oberen Stock ist frisch renoviert und ist top ausgestattet! A/C, Shampoo, Badetücher, TV, Wifi, Mosquitonetz, Waschmaschine, etc. Zudem haben sie eine italienische Kaffeemaschine mit Kapseln wo man sich gratis bedienen kann, sowie Grün- und Schwarztee. Der Cappuccino von der Maschine ist besser als Zuhause! ;) Es hat eine Couch zum entspannen und einen fantastischen Balkon wo wann das Treiben der Natur geniessen kann. Alles war sehr sauber geputzt und liebevoll hergerichtet! Im Erdgeschoss ist draussen der erfrischende Pool mit Liegestuhl, Sofa und Dusche. Es war perfekt nach einem Ausflug in der geschäftigen Stadt sich am Pool zu entspannen und erholen! Von der Stadt ist es eine kurze Fahrt aber es lohnt sich definitiv! Die grüne Umgebung lädt zu einem Spaziergang ein, der nahe gelegene See und die Reisfelder waren super schön! Danke vielmals für die tolle Zeit! Wir kommen sicher wieder!

A good 15 minutes drive from Kandy which was further than we were expecting, but as long as you know that, it's fine.
Breakfast could do with some Sri Lankan options as it was a lot of toast! But still good

we enjoyed our 3 nights here, it was super fun! the food was amazing and the pool was clean and well maintained. nadeeshan was a great help for our travels, and he also showed us a city tour all around town, he was nice and kind enough to do so. all of the credits goes to nadeeshan and the hosts for making our travels unforgettable. we recommend this beautiful villa to the people who loves a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

I have travelled a lot in my life, but here the hospitality and the gesture by the owner is next level. Property owner Prasad Dhanushka and Nadeeshan have thought well in advance keeping travellers party moond at the property. On special request they have arranged party speaker, hukka (sheesha) and also we cooked our own Indian style food at the property. Best part is you own the complete villa during the stay. Jump in to the pool at any time you wish.

The place was good and we had the whole property to ourselves. The pool added color to the stay. Kitchen staff was really nice to us and they were ready to arrange us anything upon our request.
The manager, Mr. Anushka overcharged us for the food we ordered separately off the food options he gave us. As per the telephone conversation we had with this person the prices were way higher from what he had stated before our arrival. Also the portions served only a single person though he stated the prices were for double portions. Hope there will be a proper menu for the guests with pricing.

Great breakfast and the host was always there for anything. They helped us every time.
Pool perfect clean and good interior. We enjoyed our stay there very much.
Way to accommodation is not easy with a car. Prices for food and coffee a little bit high.

- the location is remote and hard to find/access
- the internet connection could have been better
- please be mindful that you’ll be sharing the house with the hosts, so the upstairs part is where the guests sleep and downstairs is the living room and kitchen of the hosts - I think this could be written more precisely

Nothing good to say. property owner spoke to us nicely and told us they will arrange everything. But nothing was arranged.
1. Distance says 5.8 km from Kandy City Center but actually it is 10.6 km. It's like a route to a rural area with no water. Narrow unstructured road to the premise.
2. Hotel was not arranged at all; furniture was stacked in as if the owners are vacating.
3. Worst pool ever with unclean water and dirt.
4. Went with great hope with Booking.com review comments. Great disappointment :(

We stayed there for two nights and had an amazing time. Villa Sole is exceptionally clean, the pool is a great entertainment for both children and adults, and the staff is exceptionally welcoming. And the food... you just can't go wrong with it! Traditional Sri Lankan dishes, prepared for you at the place are so tasty and fresh that you just can't resist eating more than you should. Highly recommended, you can't go wrong with it.

The cleanliness of the place was perfect!!! Swimming pool was perfect advantage of the accommodation and very helpful personal. The mother of the owner take care about me like I was her grandson. It was amazing and the food delicious. I felt like at home and better say more happy thank at home. I had everything what I need and if they do not have something e.g. mayo - they managed immediately :-D TOP apartment in Sri Lanka I stayed during my 18 days on this island.
