We had a great time here for our family vacation (ages 3-75). The house was perfect! The beach is beautiful and usually mostly empty. The bugs at broadkill beach can be really bothersome when there isn’t much wind.

This house exceeded our expectations with location, decor and comfort! The whole family had a great time and the host made the whole process very easy. We hope to come back again!

We so enjoyed our stay at Broadkill Beach in the Viska’s beautiful home! Easy access to the beach, amenities for all ages, and responsive homeowners made for a great week of family fun and relaxation! We hope to return next year.

Gorgeous property in a gorgeous setting.

Our family spent an enjoyable week at Broadkill Beach in the beautifully appointed home of Veronique and Gary. Everything we needed was there, and the aquarium entertained the children daily! Veronique responded quickly to our questions. All family members enjoyed privacy and were more than comfortable in their bedrooms and bathrooms. We’re looking forward to a time when we can return to Veronique and Gary’s home at Broadkill.

My group (6 adults + 2 small kids) all had a wonderful time at Veronique's house. Even in the middle of the July, the beach was not crowded at all. This was my first time to Broadkill Beach, and the water was calm and perfect for little kids. The house is beautifully designed, and the great room and open kitchen were very inviting. Overall, we had a memorable, relaxing, and easy week here, and we hope to return in the future!

This beach house is as advertised. The house was perfect for my family. Grocery store was a short drive away and the beach was a short walk off the deck. We had problem with the air conditioner upstairs and it was fixed in a timely manner. The only trouble we had was with a jellyfish.

This was a very special family vacation for us and I wanted a perfect setting. We loved everything about the house. It was beautifully decorated, roomy and the beach access was so easy. We are thinking about reserving this same house for next year. Thank you to the host, you were gracious, responsive and helpful.

Our family, six adults, 2 almost 5 year olds and a 1 year old, had an awesome week on Broadkill Beach. The house is super well done and perfect for our 3 family groups—each had its own room(s) and a separate bath. The layout of the house is very well thought out with a spacious kitchen (great appliances) and dining/great room area (kids loved the fish tank). Perhaps the best feature is that we were only a 2 minute walk from the beach --so it was no problem going back and forth multiple times a day with the little ones. The beach has fine sand, calm waves, and few other people (at least during our week). The weather during our week was generally quite good--even when it rained a few times, the house is big enough so we could spread out with plenty of room for the kids to play. Nice to have the general store less than a mile away--ice cream for the kids and take out pizza one night. With a full moon and high tides during our week, it was something to see hundreds of horseshoe crabs come on the beach at night to lay their eggs. We did have one day, though, when the flies on the beach were pretty pesky (strong west wind). Veronique and Gary were great hosts and very responsive. If we can get everyone together for another week in the future, we will definitely come back.

The house is beautiful, designed with a lovely and comfortable flow between rooms, and nice attention to details (upscale appliances, very clean, good pots/pans/silverware). The bay-side beach is a walkway away and the water was very calm -- which was great for the little kids. Lewes and Rehoboth are an easy drive away for shopping and dining out. The only negative was the wifi -- very weak signal which made it difficult to work. The house has a DSL line not a cable service, so very out of date. If you want to completely unplug, then the weak wifi wouldn't be a problem. The adults traveling with me were not that lucky! I would definitely stay in the house again. Allison

This stunning home was everything and more that my wife, my two little girls, and myself were hoping for when we found it online...absolutely breathtaking inside and out!!! And the owners were a 10 out of 10 on the pleasantry scale to deal with!!! Will be our vacation destination for years to come

We spent 6 nights at Veronique’s and Greg’s home on Broadkill beach outside of Milton, DE. From our initial outreach about renting the property to checking out, everything went smoothly. The owners/hosts have designed a beautiful home with several thoughtful touches. The beach is beautiful and calm but also close enough to enjoy more exposed ocean beaches. The town of Milton is charming and Lewes is an easy 25 min ride.

Property was very clean, quiet, and relaxing. Beach was very clean and not over populated. Accessibility to board games, yard games, and books were appreciated. Entire process of renting was convenient. Communication with owners was prompt and informative at all times.
