Mark was wonderful and so easy to work with!

The Hickory Lodge is truly an amazing time - Mark was a very accommodating host, and provided a space that allow us to create lifetime memories! I hosted my rehearsal dinner and prepared for my wedding at the location and I am 100% glad I did - it was a total hit!

I cannot say enough about the hospitality Mark shared with us. The house was perfect for our family and our bride and her girls to prepare for her wedding. Very spacious areas to be alone or hang out with a competitive game of ping pong. Thank you again Mark for sharing your home with our family! We had a wonderful time and everything we needed was available or close by to go pick up if needed. So peaceful!!! Hope to return for just a family vacay to get away from the busy ness of daily life.

This place is great place to have the event it is very secluded and private. Mark was extremely helpful and easy the get in touch with.

I rented this property for a weekend bachelor party, and it was AMAZING! The property is beautiful, and Mark was a fantastic host. We had the band come play for us on Saturday, and they were incredible. We had a great time, and I strongly recommend this property!

The whole experience was amazing! Easy, simple check-in was amazing. The owner was very accommodating to us changing dates and times. If you’re looking for a peaceful, small, intimate wedding venue, I would highly recommend!

We have an annual golf outing and usually "travel". Stayed local as we're from Roswell as chirren. Place was comfortable and full of character. Mark was incredible and above and beyond as a superb host. Highly recommend for small or large groups...big kitchen and enormous activities indoor and out for kids of all ages. Will go again fo sho

We had a large group stay here as a retreat and it was absolutely wonderful. The owner was very communicative and gave me a tour when I got there, with very minimal rules to maintain the place (just treat it like your own). The house was massive, plenty of space to sleep, and everyone was in awe of how awesome the place was. We were so happy with this stay and we couldn’t be more thankful for Mark hosting us.

I had amazing experience renting this property as he had access to all the needs. We enjoyed and had a comfortable stay at the property.

We had plenty of space for our group. All were comfortable. Mark is awesome. Super-communicative and helpful. The only scary thing is the driveway, but we got used to it by the second time up.

The first thing you say when you walk in the Lodge is “Wow”!!! There is just so much character and something for everyone. Mark is an amazing host and reached out multiple times before our stay. Everything he said and every word in the listing is accurate. There are so many places for friends and family to gather. Want to play some ping pong, foosball or real arcade games? There’s a place for you. Want to go kayaking or fishing? Yup, it’s got it. How about shooting or archery? Also these. Maybe you just want to escape to a quiet place, have a glass of wine and soak in a big bear claw tub with a view of the lake. There’s even a “speak easy” in the basement. Saturday night Mark and his band played a show for us. It was fantastic. All of them were talented and fun. Some of them stayed on until late in the evening. They were like family by the end of the night. I would recommend the lodge to any large group looking for fun with a Bohemian vibe. That’s for having this place Mark! We had so much fun!

The property was rented as a venue for family to get together for Thanksgiving. My uncle lives nearby but cannot travel to us in north Florida do we came to him. Kitchen was perfect to make a perfect Thanksgiving meal. Large dinning room table almost accommodated the whole family. Ten adults and 7 children stayed in the property . There was a lot of different activities to keep them all busy. This location is close to everything, but when your there you feel like your far away from everything. The whole family had a blast, we can’t wait to go back again!

Great experience. Mark was very helpful through out the entire weekend. We all had a great time. The location was great. Felt like we were far away from the world but in fact we were close to groceries and anything we might need.

Mark was great to work with and checked in just the right amount. We were in town for a family wedding and didn't spend a lot of time during the day at the house. The area was wonderful and we felt very safe. The house could have been cleaner and the basement needs some updating but for our purposes, we were satisfied.

I was strongly recommend if the band is available inviting them to the house.

Me and my 7 friends and family had a blast. Very clean. Comfortable beds and such a great host Mark. Plenty to do there. We had a 5 hr kayak trip that was great. Must do again. Thanks for everything Mark. Awsome place.

We had a group of 8 adults staying at this home and we loved the home and location. It was so peaceful, but very convenient to grocery stores and other shopping. Mark was the perfect host and always available!

We enjoyed the house. The private range made all the guys extremely happy.

Lots of room and places for everyone to hang out. Some of the rooms downstairs and the outside areas need a little love and attention, but nothing kept us from having a wonderful time.

This was such a great spot for our group of 10. Mark has thought of everything! We enjoyed canoeing around the lake, trekking through the woods, playing ping pong, having plenty of space to play dominoes or cards, and just have fun! Beds were super comfy as well.

Mark was an excellent host and made sure my friends and I had the perfect spot for relaxing and letting loose while waiting for the big day. If you want a clean, well kept place to relax and a basement that gives the feel of that hidden gem dive bar you favorited in college, this is your spot.

This house is exactly what I wanted for my birthday. Stayed for one night, but wish I could’ve stayed for longer.
