We really enjoyed our stay in this super cute cabin! The host was great to work with, very responsive. But really, we had no issues! Loved having a hot tub to chill out in and the location was really convenient to lots of attractions. Definitely will be coming back here! Highly recommend!:)

Jim’s cabin was exactly what our family of 10 needed for our weekend stay! Everyone had plenty of space! The cabin is easily accessible and close to everything in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but at the same time felt like it was off the beaten path and extremely private. This is the best cabin I have stayed in the area. Every single bed was comfortable and the private balconies really added to the comfort and peacefulness of the cabin. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We had a couple minor issues, however the hosts resolved them immediately. Thank you!

Owl’s Nest was the perfect getaway for my girls trip. The cabin was beautiful, clean, well decorated and had a perfect design. There were so many areas to be together as a group or you could go on one of the many balconies or porch for alone, private time. Each room was spacious. The location was perfect for tourists activities and then back to serenity at the cabin. But what really made this stay exceptional was Jim himself. He was so responsive to our many questions. We are already planning our next trip.

The house was just perfect for our family's first visit to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. The location was ideal, the house had plenty of room and was very clean and well maintained. Special to kudos to Jim Folger, the owner, for returning a sentimental item that were left in the house. He went above and beyond in returning it to us. We are looking to returning to the Owl's Nest.

There were a couple issues but the cabin was awesome

This house is located in the heart of Pigeon Forge, minutes from Gatlinburg or any restaurant or attraction! The house was clean and had plenty of space for our 7 person family! We found our new home away from home!

Our family had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was the perfect size/layout for our party of seven. Beds were very comfortable and the location was easy to access. Definitely would recommend and stay here again!

This was our first VRBO and honestly a bit nervous. The host Jessica very promptly answered any and all questions before, during and after we left. The cabin was extremely clean and was just perfect for our family. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

We loved our stay and would recommend this cabin. It was close to all the attractions yet felt like you were far away from all the noise and crowds. We had plenty of room and it was well stocked with what we needed. Beautiful & clean! The owners were easy to get ahold of and responded quickly to our check-in question.

It was great! Only small complaint was a minor kitchen faucet issue, but my son was able to get it working fine again. It was clean, comfy and convenient.

This was a quick trip with the extended family. Everyone had a good time. Important to remember that it is a cabin so space isn’t overwhelmingly abundant. The porches are great but for us the cold rainy weather made them tough to use. The inside was cozy. The kitchen and dinning areas where we gathered were great. Lots of counter space on the island and the two fridges would be perfect for longer stays.

Had a great time at the Owls Nest cabin. Everything was clean and the cabin has everything a family could need. Great outdoor space and even has an EV charger. We would not hesitate to recommend the Owls Nest.

Overall, we had a nice stay at the Owl’s Nest. We visited Pigeon Forge/Dollywood after Christmas, not knowing that is the area’s busiest week of the year (prepare for lots of traffic and lines everywhere). The house was cozy and what you’d expect of a mountain home, but there were a few pain points. First, when we arrived there were cigarette butts littered on the ground as well as a pile of ashes on the back porch. Not the host’s fault, but perhaps the cleaning crew could have done a little better (both inside and out). Second, the property is listed as pet friendly, which in theory it is, but there is very little green space outside for dogs to do their business. And, finally, the house is advertised to accommodate up to 12 guests, but the hot water heater is in no way equipped to handle that number of people showering. We had to stagger shower times in both the mornings and evenings because hot water would run out after just one shower. All in all, our experience was positive and the host was very responsive to messages.

I can't love this cabin enough! Owl's Nest will definitely be our "go to stay" place while in the mountains now. Communication with owner was GREAT! Check in/out couldn't have been easier. Kitchen accommodations were perfect. Everything you need is there. Loved having two refrigerators. The wrap around porch was FANTASTIC. We went with our family BUT this cabin would be PERFECT for a few couples to get away. Each room upstairs had its own private balcony plus an extra sitting area with a fireplace. Location was ON POINT! Just moments away from everything. The cabin was pet friendly so we were able to take our furbaby but it was impeccably clean. No signs of previous pets. Wifi was great. We all had the best time and will definitely be back again! Definitely recommend this cabin. **the ONLY things I would recommend would be a gate for the bottom of the steps to keep children from going up/down stairs and possible some warmer blankets for cooler weather. All in all. Owl's Nest was FANTASTIC!! 5/5 Stars!!

Spent some much needed family time for my birthday before heading to FL. Enjoyed the house and scenery! Hot tub didn’t heat up as much as we would have liked but still enjoyed! Loved the idea of the map and pin board.. we made our mark with a red pin. And the journal of everyone’s visit.. the stories was like I knew them. Didn’t get to see any bears.. not that I wanted to but it would have been a cool story to tell! Thank you for great trip, will definitely be back for a longer stay!

location was very close to all attractions and parkway. very clean and so many balconies!

This home was perfect for our family of 5 adults and two children. There were plenty supplies for the kitchen and bathroom items were nicely displayed. The house was clean and well maintained. Communication with the owner was great. The property was easy to get to and quick to get to Dollywood. I would highly recommend the “Owl’s Nest” for your next vacation.

Great cabin! Right off the parkway and close to all major attractions! VERY clean with plenty of towels. Jim was highly responsive. Although our stay was great, I know if there would have been anything actually impacting the stay, it would have been taken care of promptly. Stayed in a lot of cabins over the years and this was one of our favorites!

It was good. We were under the impression that the bathrooms would have toilet paper rolls (2 each) and shampoo, conditioner and body wash travel sizes in each but most bathrooms did not

The cabin was beautiful! Everyone in our party agreed the cabin was a hit. The wrap around porch with plenty of available seating made it a daily spot to gather and talk. The location is less than 5 minutes to the main road, yet the cabin feels very secluded. Trips to Gatlinburg took less than a half hour for hiking in the Great Smokey Mountains. We cooked in for multiple meals. The kitchen was well stocked. One item that would be helpful is a stopper for the sink. The bathrooms were well maintained, however, the fan in the downstairs bath did not work. Prior to arrival, I was sent a link to download an app to my phone for the cabin. That was a great feature! As noted in some other reviews I read before booking, backing out of the driveway is best done with a spotter at the end of the driveway. The cabin sits near the base of a windy, mountain road (as do many cabins in this area) and this was done out of caution to watch for vehicles coming down the road. We found traffic overall was light on this road. In summary, this was a wonderful cabin, and our family really enjoyed our time at The Owl's Nest. We would recommend it to others.

My extended family and I had a wonderful time. The location is great, easy to get to Gatlinburg and the national park. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed the covered porch. We saw wildlife in the area, including a small bear. The owners were very helpful and took care of all of our issues. They even helped us after our stay by retrieving a lost item for us. 5 stars all the way.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Owls Nest this spring. The property is large for a group and is very conveniently located in Pigeon Forge without feeling like you are on the strip. A very nice house that met our needs, the cleaning crew could have paid a little closer attention to detail but this did not dramatically impact our stay. I would highly recommend this property for a large family.

Overall the house was nice and comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s in a great location and had adequate space and different areas for relaxing. If you have a large group and pets, this is a perfect place. The driveway area is tight with a steep drop-off and no turning area. Be careful and be prepared to shuffle vehicles and back out / in.

Loved the location and the decks upstairs for the safety for the little ones and dogs. Parking was a challenge.
