We stayed at this house back in November, and they’ve made even more lovely upgrades since then. Nice new decorations are noted throughout the house, and a new TV that is compatible with more streaming services. The house is just perfect. Very clean, has a lot of kitchenware, dog bowls, random things that you will need when staying a long time. The deck and downstairs is well maintained- fence in good condition to keep dogs in. Super close to the beach, and the beach that it’s close to is not crowded at all- you can drive your car right on the sand. Maybe we were just lucky but we experienced no mosquitos at all either. This will be our “go to” place for many years to come.

The pictures are accurate but the view is even better. The house is directly across from the beach, not far at all. There are multiple ways to access the beach, first you can walk out of the back yard and directly across the road, second drive around and park across the road, or third drive to a public access point closely located to the left and right of the house where you can also drive your vehicle on to the beach. The house had everything we needed for our stay. We had a few unpredictable issues, with one call Kathy was easy to connect with and resolved our issues fast. The house has an open floor plan that makes sense, with a group of 8 and 2 small dogs we had plenty of space to move about. The fenced in yard was perfect and safe space for our dogs and kids to play. The colorful chairs on the deck were my favorite, perfect for conversations and enjoying the view of the beach and waves.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean with plenty of room and all of the essentials needed in the kitchen for meals. The location is excellent, right across from the beach with a gorgeous upper deck view of the ocean!! It was the perfect family trip. We'd definitely stay here again. My boys had a blast.

Everything was great, location is spot on, plenty of space for everyone, yard was great for the dogs, outdoor shower was handy for coming in from the beach. Be sure to bring Off and a fogger as the mosquitoes are viscious if you want to sit outside at sunset. Also bring bath soap because none is provided. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and we can’t wait to go back!!!

We had the most wonderful time enjoying a non traditional family Christmas, amazing views of the ocean, property was perfect, beds were very comfy and yard was perfect for our fur babies.

We stayed three days. Perfect weather which made sitting on the deck a real pleasure. Great, direct view of the Gulf from the deck. Both dogs especially enjoyed the fenced yard. The house is exactly as advertised. We enjoyed it a lot.

I wanted to do something special for my family after my mom had been in the hospital, so I rented a vacation spot and took everyone to the beach. The house was pretty much as described online and we enjoyed ourselves immensely, having coffee on the balcony and watching the sunrise. There were a few things I would recommend to the property manager for future renters; my son was very disappointed to see there was no basketball goal as shown in the pic, we did not anticipate the mosquitoes being so bad, so having lots of bug spray in the house would be a great help & the essentials (toilet paper) didn't last for a stay of 11 people, just so guests would not have to think about the little things and can enjoy their stay more, instead of running to the store. Overall, the house, location and experience was worth it. It's a beautiful rental!

Our family had an absolute blast staying at Sunny and Chair. There was plenty of room for all of us and seating on the deck was great for evenings when we were relaxing, listening to the ocean. The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook our larger family meals and we didn’t have to bring much of our own stuff with us. The public access parking right across the street was perfect as well. Everything was better than expected and we’ll definitely be back again.

We absolutely loved this beach house. It is a bit of a drive to Galveston, but we enjoyed the place so much we barely left our entire stay. We had quick access to the beach and the neighborhood pool. It was a much needed relaxing vacation with our whole family. The fenced in yard was great for our dog too. Gorgeous views in the morning and we could see lots of fireworks at night from all directions. Perfect location for our long 4th of July weekend. So glad we booked when we did! We will be back!

The location is perfect! We could walk to the beach and it was far enough away from the crowds. During our stay I reached out via email and got a quick response. One tip.... drive that 20 to 25 minutes to the grocery store instead of stopping at the smaller/closer stores. You really pay for convenience

My family and I had an amazing time in the Sunny and Cher Beach house. We hope to be able to return back to this location. The Marina restaurant is a short golf cart ride down the road was a great place. All in all it was perfect. Thank you so much for sharing the home with us.

My family had a wonderful time here! We enjoyed the spacious kitchen, dining and living space as well as the outdoor patio areas. The colorful chairs up top were perfect for viewing the beach and down below we appreciated the shower, lawn, and area for grilling. I just had one small thing to note. The pictures lead me to think it was a propane grill but ended up being a charcoal grill. It turned out just fine. I could have reached out for clarification. The owner was very responsive on the day of arrival when we struggled to open the door. We also really appreciated all the kitchen amenities (baking sheets, ziplocks, and plentiful cooking utensils). Overall it was a very nice place to stay. Highly recommend.

Great stay at this property! The house was comfortable for our family of 5, and it was great to have a fenced yard for the dogs. The neighborhood was quiet, and the beach is a quick drive across San Luis Pass Rd. Loved listening to the ocean waves at night from the deck! Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for cooking. Bathrooms are updated and very nice and have plenty of towels to use. As noted in listing, you will need to bring your own shower toiletries. A property we would return to again!

We celebrated our daughters birthday at the beach house this weekend. We had an awesome time the kids had a blast. We felt like we were at home. We will definitely be back!

The owners have created a beautiful vacation home 3 minutes from the beach. The house has comfortable and modern look with all the amenities one might need. The large terrace looks out towards the beach, and the large fenced-in yard was perfect for our dogs. We had a very pleasant stay there.
