Better than described - a delightful home and property. Our family of 5 (all adults) plus our dog and cat enjoyed a fabulous and relaxing vacation together at this lovely home. The house was sparklingly clean and super comfortable, with so many thoughtful touches that helped make life easy. Each room was beautifully and comfortably furnished and there were designated pet blankets in each room as well as a set of outdoor blankets which made relaxing in the shade on the lawn with a good book an absolute delight. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals in and the owners were very generous with providing starter supplies and pantry items beyond what I would have expected. One of the best properties we have ever rented and one of the best vacations we've ever had. I hope we get the chance to return someday. We'll be enjoying these fond memories of our stay for years to come.

This was the most outstanding VRBO we have stayed in. The place was beautiful, and the setting was peaceful. The hosts thought about all of the little details and even accommodated a last minute request. This is a great place.

This was the perfect spot for our weekend! The location is great-close to town with easy access but a quiet country experience. As a family who lives in an old house, we loved the uniqueness and chance to enjoy such a historic place. But the thoughtfulness of the hosts and amenities were definitely up-to-date. My family and I were needing a break from our routine, so we found this property, which looked great online. We were so pleased when it was everything that was advertised and more. That is, the property was clean and comfortable, and a fascinating place to spend time. It is amazing that one can be in such a quiet place, with Manhattan literally just minutes away! We chose this property so my family could all meet and attend the opening KSU football game. The proximity to town was perfect....very short drive to down (< 1 mi) but remote enough not be surrounded by other people. The property was incredible with rich history. The hosts ensured every detail was considered regarding directions, instructions, and furnishings, to ensure we could focus on family time rather than running errands to get things we didn't think of. The hosts were the icing on the cake. They reminded us of the small town living and local hospitality we were used to growing up & all the reasons we chose KSU and Manhattan. If you chose this place make sure you take couple minutes out of your trip to introduce yourself to them. Thanks for the memorable weekend!

The Old Rosencutter house was a delight to spend the weekend at! It is very well kept, spacious, away from the hustle and bustle but yet only a few miles away from town. It was exactly what we were looking for! Highly recommend staying at this great property!

This house is fantastic! I can't say enough good things, we didn't want to leave. It was sparkling clean, beautifully appointed and the best stocked kitchen and pantry we've ever enjoyed in a VRBO home. Check in was seamless, we enjoyed the fresh "welcome" cookies and we especially enjoyed meeting the owner and learning more about the history of this great historic house. We can't wait to come back, thanks for sharing your home with us!
