When you read your description, it says that there is a playground which there was not it also says there was a washer and dryer there was not. I had to go to a laundromat and I had 14 people with me which was very inconvenient. I also felt like there was not enough towels or, there definitely would not have been enough cooking utensils I’m so glad I already brought my own and when we got there, you could see that the floors had not been mopped or anything. The baseboards were still very very dirty. Had lots of dust everywhere and other than that, it was a OK stay but a bathroom being in the middle of the kitchen was also very hard to deal with with a large group .

Very nice property located just a bit further South on Galveston Island. Not too far from beach access points and away from the busy areas. The property had everything we needed and was clean with everything working as expected. Extra bonus is it had a ramp rather than stairs that made it easier getting our stuff up to the property. The communication was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. All details were provided and even put together an online packet of information that was very helpful. We enjoyed our quick getaway stay and will seek out this owner for more rentals!

We had a wonderful stay at Anchor Away, StayBeachBox. The house was well equipped
The communication was excellent. We have stayed at other Stay Beach Homes and they are always clean and well stocked. We dont have any complaints, because Stay Beach rentals are always well kept. We came to have a great time of celebrating Christmas together and we did. Thank you for being a part of making our weekend a great one.

The Good: Great AC kept us cool. A short drive to the best public beach in Galveston (no cars, not many folks). Excellent television.
The Bad: Not enough chairs for the number of people. Not a single closet rod or hook (except near the shower) to hang up clothes. Had to go buy chairs for the kids, a drying rack for dishes. The flooring was starting to come up in places. "Sand fleas" ate everyone up if you were outside after dark. Won't stay there or in any of their properties again.
It did not meet our expectations and was a bare minimum property for what we paid. We've stayed in better places in Galveston.

The pictures made the property look bigger than in person but it worked for our family of 13! It was "cozy"! Property was pretty close to the beach (beautiful clean beach) but I wouldn't say walking distance, don't try to haul your chairs down there, you definitely have a 2 minute drive! It's a little outside of downtown which is fine but a good 30 minute drive to really get there or the seawall. All of the interior decor was perfectly fitting for the beach house (so cute) and all of the beds were comfortable. I LOVED the storm windows, it made sleeping in so enjoyable! I would suggest a washer/dryer combo as we struggled to use the same beach towel over and over! The owners were also so great with communicating! Would stay here again :)

This was a great property for large groups! The kids (8 total) had so much fun with the bunk beds and area under the house. It was a great location and easy walk to the beach.

This house is located right near the beach just a short walk or drive away, (a beautiful beach!) the rooms were so cozy and it felt like we all had our own space, we were very comfortable and happy with everything!
