Stayed here for my bachelor party. We attended the races at North Wilkesboro. Nice place. Nice views. Master shower was stuck on scalding hot & the tub had black hairs in it, which was gross. Other than that it was a good place to lay your head at night.

We had a wonderful time. We would definitely return to rent again. Lots of space, the hot tub was amazing with a view of the mountains and sunset. Kitchen was well. Stopped. Pool table and air hockey table were great and very entertaining for kids on rainy afternoons. Lots of space for two families to provide for some privacy. Very close to Boone and blowing Rock. Love love love

Our weekend getaway was top notch! The house was in a great location. We were able to hit the slopes, hike and relax. Prefect trip for a large group. We’ll be back!

Awesome house! No complaints.

This property was everything we expected. It was perfect for an extended family vacation. My favorite part of the house was the large dinning table, being able to have the whole family sit together was memorable. The property was very clean. We loved the basement and were able to have game nights with everyone. This property was accommodating for large groups and gave everyone their own privacy.

The only thing was the trash ..it was complicated because we have to take a long way and it was close because it was holiday. We stay five days and the disposal location was close 3 days.

Perfect for our multigenerational mountain trip. Easy access, nicely furnished and wonderful kitchen . We loved everything about A Home Sweet Home.

Great spot for our family as we enjoyed our wedding in the mountains. Was the perfect location to relax and spend quality time before and after the wedding

The cabin was awesome and the manager was too

This cabin has plenty of room for my whole extended family. Plenty of space for privacy but also designed for togetherness. Very close to Boone which is a perfectly quaint town for a sweet day out, also very convenient to the local food lion for groceries, and not far from a waterfall trail off the blue ridge highway. The views are breathtaking and the house was so welcoming. The house was perfectly stocked for all of our needs, we loved our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed this home. It was very comfortable and had beautiful long range views. The only negative was the very small closet in the master suite: it was tiny for hanging clothes space. Drawer space however was more than adequate. We have already indicated our desire to rent this home again for 2023.

As repeat costumers, our group was well informed of the directions posted throughout the house. While there is lots of information to soak in, it’s easy to understand. The second fridge downstairs is new and super handy! Especially for large groups. Very grateful for accommodations such as these. There are so many trails close by and even just walking the road to the house is a joy. We had several cars come for this trip and the driveway + additional side parking was appreciated. We could not find an outdoor light to illuminate the cars at night but at least most phones have flashlights nowadays to guide the way. The gas fireplace was our favorite communal gathering spot. It’s so cozy! And the timer makes it carefree to turn on, and walk away. We did bring more toilet paper and paper towels as this home does not have a great offering of paper products. Being here for a second time, we would suggest a kitchen sink drain filter to help with ensuring the water way does not get clogged. The only other item that isn’t super convenient to this trip is trash. As I’d imagine most people rent for a weekend, note that dumps are closed on Sundays so hauling trash back home isn’t very pleasant. We made it work but it would be swell to find a work around here. Another successful and amazing trip! This home really is amazing for large crowds. We could all easily be in the main living space while cooking, eating, playing games, and more!

Fairly effortless

The house was great, location was great. Only complaint is that the house is a little dusty.

The pictures online didn't do property justice! Looks much better in person! Furniture looked up to date! Decorated for the season. Very nice place!! & mountain views was beautiful!! Also, everyone in local shopping area was very nice!

Great cabin and very clean. We enjoyed our stay here with friends and had a great time in the mountains.

This cabin was perfect for our group! The views were amazing and instructions were clear and placed throughout the house. Check in and check out were effortless. Our groups favorite activity was nightly fires and viewing the night sky!

The ease of booking was AWESOME!

Beautiful location, tons of space, massive deck with an insane view, fire pit is first class.... can't really say anything negative (not that I want to). I would gladly return and stay at this cabin any time. Mayyyyybe update the game room couch, it's seen better days. But that doesn't diminish the visit. Highly recommend! Kevin

The house was perfect for 4 families and their children. The layout is spacious and set up very well for this many families. Location was close to tubing on the New River with High Mtn Expeditions. Banner Elk is a solid 45 mins away. Boone is about half that far. We didn't mind the drive to both.

We enjoyed our stay at the property but there were some significant cleanliness issues- primarily the furniture. We ended up putting sheets over the couches and chairs because they were so stained. The furniture desperately needs to be replaced. Appliances were aged and didnt work great- dryer took several cycles to dry even a very small load, ice makers did not work, and every night the oven took 30+ minutes to preheat. The home had plenty of space but we would not stay again- pictures were very misleading in terms of furnishing quality.

Views are amazing and house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. We took our adult children and toddler grandchildren and everyone had a great time!

Played the first day and that was it. New pictures need to be taken, the house looks nothing like the photos on VRBO. Owners do a terrible job with the upkeep on this property, which is too bad, it's a great house. We will not rent this house again.

Amazing location with a breathtaking view

Beautiful cabin. Furniture and appliances need updating but overall very nice. Location to trash dump is very inconvenient but the stay itself was very comfortable and inviting. Would recommend this cabin

Very nice house with the largest kitchen we have ever rented! The views were wonderful and could be enjoyed from the hot tub. It was located between 2 towns so plenty of things to do and restaurants to got to although with Covid19 we did cook in most of the time. My grandkids enjoyed the pool table and air hockey although the air hockey needs some repair. Would rent again.
