The decor in the place is quirky but in a great way that you see something new everytime you enter a room. We loved it.

Each bedroom having a bathroom is such a luxury and the house has been decorated so beautifully, it's just gorgeous. It was a wonderful place where we could experience a mansion in the early 20 century without discounting the modern convenience, and where the beach promenade, Pukekura park, even the grocery and takeaways are near. The staffs are also amazing with fast and thoughtful services.

Excellent for 5 older sibling couples

Group of 10 friends have weekend away once each year. This accommodation was wonderful, great facilities and very comfortable. Also convenient location in central New Plymouth. All in all, was base for an most enjoyable weekend.

What a wonderful venue for us all, it provided shared spaces to gather together, individual rooms offering privacy, Timata Ora was aesthetically furnished, warm, welcoming and well resourced for all our needs. Central, easily accessible and clear expectations were helpful.

The whole house was a comfortable temperature (given it was winterish outside), the rooms were a good size, as were the bathrooms. It is very close to the middle of town without being noisy or too busy. We all enjoyed our stay 100%
