Had to wait outside the property for ages no one there to let us in. eventually managed to attract the attention of another guest she contacted the owner/ manager to let us in. Same happened to other guest we let them in on our way back from eating out, they told us they had waited ages outside waiting for the owner to let them in, they said they had emailed the owner letting him know their estimated time of arrival, when I contacted him he said o yes be right there. If there as a bell to ring on arrival this would alleviate the anxiety. also sofa bed most uncomfortable a single bed would be more comfortable and practical.

It is perfectly located. The soda (local type of restaurants) at the corner serves delicious food, you can also get a breakfast there for a very good price. The hotel itself is perfect for a short stay, the price is worth it. There is so much to do in the area that you wont have time to chill in the hotel :). The only problem we had is that we couldn’t dry our close after the rain, which was basically every day.

Location was good. A few blocks from the center of town. Close enough to walk easily and far enough to be quiet. We had several walks out of town that got us in rural and jungle like settings. Marco, our contact, was pleasant and as helpful as he could be . The unit was new and clean.

Confusing location. No street signs. No Coati Lodge sign. No house numbers. Television screen damaged and foggy. Kitchen faucet loose and difficult to operate. Hot water in shower inoperative. Circuit breaker trips in a minute resulting in a cold water rinse off. A cooktop would improve the utility of the kitchen.
