The house was great! The bedrooms were all nicely furnished and plenty of space for us to gather as a group. Location on the beach was wonderful! Communication was excellent.

This house was really great. Closest to town regarding beachfront homes in Galveston. We had 11 people and everyone was comfortable. First rental home we have ever stayed in that the AC worked properly. We will rent again.

Property was amazing with so much room, clean and comfortable. Steps away from the waves and beach was quiet and private. Location was still close to shops and attractions. We had a great family get together!

Lovely Beach house, excellent location. Plenty of beds and spacious, open living area.However, several bedroom outlets were not working as well as several televisions. Overall, very pleased with the home and would definitely stay there again.

The location could not be better and accommodations were lovely. We had an issue with water heater and microwave on Christmas Eve. However, there was a service team at the property within an hour or so of my phone call with a new microwave and a solution to the water heater. surprisingly excellent service. We would stay again.

The location was great for beach access but there was sticker patches to walkthrough to get to the beach. 10-15 minutes to downtown. We chose this house because of the number of bedrooms and space for our large family and wanted to walk to the beach with our kids. Pictures make it look more updated than it is. We enjoyed our stay but would look to stay somewhere else next time.

This was a great house with all the rooms and restrooms for a large family. Our family was able to spread out and we all enjoyed our stay. It sure made my 60th birthday a blast! All appliances worked except microwave over stove! Our bed was very firm but we did sleep ok. The elevator was not available- that would have been a great plus if it was. There are many many steps in this house.

Nice house, but was told the elevator wasn't for guest and after washing our first load of laundry we found out the dryer wasn't working. I called twice and was told someone would come out and look at it, but never did during our stay.

The location was great and convenient.

There were 8 adults and 2 children (7 and 5) in our group and this house was a great fit. The entrance to the beach was safe and easy with multiple options to shower off before entering the house. Lots of stairs but we appreciated the exercise and large landings on each set. The kitchen was a bit small but we made it work for the short time we were there. Regardless, we will be back!

Everything was great for the most part. Unfortunately I read the reviews and someone had mentioned wheelchair accessible because they have an elevator. However I didn’t know I had to reserve the elevator so my 80 year old mother had to walk up 6 flights of stairs several times. I asked if I could pay extra and have someone unlock the elevator and they informed me they could not. So my mother who just got over having half a lung removed and knee surgery had to suffer. I felt horrible considering it was for her birthday and this is what I put her through. I hope these people don’t have to take care of their elderly parents because God does not like ugly. Needless to say please make sure if you need the elevator put it on your reservation if you can find it since it wasn’t disclosed that you had to reserve and pay extra because I would have.

This house is bright and airy with wonderful ocean views from inside the home, as well as from both decks. There was more than enough room for our family of 11 and our two dogs. Not everything in the house is new or in perfect condition, but it was clean and functional. The beach is away from the crowds but not far from anything we wanted to see or do. We all enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again!

The main issue we had was the elevator was not available for use, it was locked. Every single smoke alarm in the entire was detached, we found them in a cabinet. None of the outdoor outlets worked. The rooms were so full of furniture it was difficult to walk or find a spot for suitcases. The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. There were 9 of us that stayed and we had enough beds, and couch space to hang out. It was right on a private beach which was perfect.

We loved our stay in this vacation rental. Everything was clean, beautiful interior furnishings and gorgeous view from the home. We will definitely rent this house again!

This stay was a great choice for our family. Beautiful views and super close access to the beach. House was so pretty and super clean. Just need to work on the outside showers.

My wife and I stayed in a Vrbo property in Sedona at Christmas 2022. We booked this Galveston beach Vrbo property for April 2023. We did not know that the Galveston beach property was manager by Vacasa. When were arrived one of the toilets would not flush, the oven door was broken, the handle on the exterior of the patio door to the balcony was broken and attached by only one screw and the two electric recliners had their plugs cut off so that they could not be connected to power. The number of towels, wash cloths and rolls of toilet paper were not consistent with the number of people booked to stay at the property. When we called Vacasa, we were told that our concerns would be referred to the "local team". We asked when we could expect to hear from the "local team" and were told no estimated time was possible. We asked for a direct phone number to contact the "local team" but was refused this information. We continued to call and text Vacasa the first evening with no meaningful results. We finally received a call from a Vacasa maintenace tech around noon the 2nd day. We weren't informed that he was enroute or a schedule for his visit, so our plans were held hostage by Vacasa scheduling incompetence. While the Vacasa tech was able to fix some of the issues, the ability to enjoy our visit to Galveston was diminished by the failure of Vacasa to demonstrate any effort at proactive property management. We will NEVER stay at a property managed by Vacasa again.

Dishwasher didn’t work properly, also elevator was locked, but everything else was really perfect.

The location was nice. Right on the beach and just outside of the hustle and bustle but not too far out that Uber would still pick us up. Plenty of room in the house for everyone to spread out.

Highly recommended. Lovely view. Easy access to attractions and restaurants.

Used this house for a business trip and it worked out well. We had a few small issues like inconsistent hot water in the showers and no remote that worked for the main TV in living room but overall house worked well and accommodated five people very easily. The pit downstairs was great and the kitchen has all the needs we had for making a meal.

We had 12 people stay in this fantastic beach house. We had plenty of room and none of us wanted to leave. The only thing was not having enough hot water for showers for all of us. Other than that we would LOVE to stay again and again and again.

We always go to Sunny Beach so we decided to stay here. The house is very roomy and has great views and beach access.

Really enjoyed our stay as there was plenty of room for all our family and had great access to the beach. The house is just 10 minutes away from the busier beach areas so it was nice to be close but not too close. The house was very clean and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. We loved the main room with large TV and ample room to play games in the evening and great views of the water!

This property was great, right on the beach, quiet, convenient go anywhere you want to go! We just couldn’t figure out the oven and the heat never made it downstairs, but that could have been user error :) fantastic place, would stay there again! Thanks again for a wonderful vacation!

Beautiful home, accessible for guests in wheelchair, amazing views and comfortable space

Disclaimer: all vacation rentals have issues. I haven’t encountered one that was “perfect” but this one came very close due to location and the ability to host so many people (12 in our case). Some caveats: 1. Professionally managed. I try to avoid these because they lack the personal details you’d expect from renting someone’s home. With this is also late check in (4pm!) and early check out (10am!) - the worst of all possible worlds. For the cost, the times should be standard (3/11). 2. Bring your own cooking and cleaning supplies. Plenty of pots and pans but not much else. Same for bath soaps, paper products etc. 3. Small kitchen for the size of the place. 4. Master king is like sleeping on a box springs. Needs to be replaced. 5. Some of the appliances are outdated. Pro: great living spaces, great entertainment options, comfy couches, fantastic porches with Gulf views, steps from the beach, lots of room in the house, plenty of entertainment options in the house (multiple TVs, streaming etc), close to the main part of Galveston but far enough away to not be in the thick of it and finally, family friendly. Would definitely rent again. The caveats are minor irritants.
