Let me say first that Paulo is the ideal host. He communicated well throughout, even when I had massive airline travel issues. The place was great, restful, with good light, bed, kitchen, bath, and outdoor space. The location, in the heart of Islington, is also ideal. For me, this is the better way to do London--live, rest, eat, and go to the theatre in Islington in the evenings; go out to the hubbub of more central London during the day. The restaurant beneath these flats is great, as is the breakfast place right next door. It is easy to get to Angel Station and even closer to Highbury and Islington Station. There are parks, coffee shops, and restaurants of every kind. I have traveled to London 30 times in recent years, and, so long as it is available, this will be the place I stay on future visits.

Overall, I had a really good stay in Islington at this flat! I had a bumpy start to my stay since I was not placed in the flat that I originally booked due to an issue with the boiler. However, the property owner/manager was great to work with me and switched me to my original flat once the issue was resolved. The place I stayed had a nice private outdoor space which was a nice reprieve from the busy city streets below. It was hot in London at the time, so my main feedback would be to add some blackout curtains in the front to cut down on the sun during the day. I would recommend this place for others to stay!

Goed ingericht appartement in een rustige buurt van Londen. Metrostations op wandelafstand, tal van bistro's en restaurantjes in de buurt. Alle noodzakelijke items aanwezig (servies, bestek, vaatwas, haardroger, ijskast, ...). Ideaal appartement voor een koppel of vrienden.

We loved the flat! It's located perfectly in a street full of nice shops and restaurants. Tube and busses are just a few steps away. You'll find everything you need in the kitchen and also living room. The bedroom is quiet and there's an access to a lovely terrace. It's really nice to have this option to sit outside on a hot day, we enjoyed a lot. We would definitely recommend the place and come back ourselves. Silvia & Martin

Had a wonderful stay at Paulo’s apartment in London. The location is simply great, very nice and safe area where the ex Mayor of London lives! Many restaurants and shops, and well connected with metro and busses everywhere and the Eurostar down the road. The apartment is warm and has a very comfortable bed and a private roof terrace. Cable TV and WiFi are super. The team was super responsive, smooth check in and checkout. I must recommended!

This apt is exactly as shown in the photos. Compact but with everything you need and more!! Top floor of building. No problem sleeping as bedroom at back of apt away from street. Generous supplies of shampoo, conditioner, washing supplies and no need to buy anything at all. No need to go out for a coffee first thing as there is a Nespresso machine with a supply of capsules. All in all a great apt in a fabulous location. Handy for 2 tube stations. Safe at night. Felt safe walking at all times. Many great shops, cafes and bars within a stroll. All budgets catered for here. Would recommend this apt to anyone. Only minus is the many stairs to climb from front door but keeps you fit and slim!!!

Paula has a good service and great communication; when we arrive Ela (Paulo staff) was waiting for us in the unit, she was really nice and explain to us all we need to know during our stay. The apartment was clean, but the inflatable bed was damage :( we find this in the moment we going to used so one of us need to sleep on the floor the first night, Ela fix this on the next day. The sofa bed that suppose to be for two people it is not :( (very small for two adults), just a couple of inches bigger than a twin size bed, we were 4 adults and a toddler so we make it work, the bed on the bedroom was very comfy :) The kitchen was well equiped but really uncomfortable to used, was not space at all over de countertop (already full with different small appliances that are necessary on the kitchen) and all the utensils, pans, plates, glass was very difficult to reach because the spaces on the bottom are full with cleaners and stuff they need for maintenance. We was in this unit on August and we can't open one of the two windows on the living room the weather was on the 80's so the flat feel hot during the day and part of the night (No fans on the flat :(, the window was kind of dangerous for our toddler no protection at all (the apartment was on a second floor). A convenient store was just couples of steps :) and good restaurants. The good thing is that we have a clean please to stay in London on a safe area, but not very comfortable for our needs ( we stay a week early in Paris in a lovely and comfy one) maybe that’s the reason we feel this way. The transaction was smooth with no problem at all, Paulo return our deposit via Home Away one week after we leave. Maybe we not stay at this flat in a future visit, but we definitely contact Paulo and ask him for other of his properties that fit better our needs. August 2016
