We loved our three night stay in this charming character cottage. The house was well equipped with everything you could ask for and the welcoming bottle of wine was a nice touch. The cottage is ideally placed with the high street and beach just a couple of minutes walk from the property. It’s ideally placed for all the local pubs, bars, restaurants etc. Parking is the only issue as it’s all permit parking but you do get one hour to unload. We managed to park for free a couple of streets away but there are car parks not far away. We would definitely return and recommend this property.

Lovely little cottage on a great location, everything within minutes of walking distance, High Street ,the beach, pub,supermarkets, and restaurants.etc,etc We had a great time exploring Whitstable and a few other places in Kent. Me and my wife had a wonderful stay at this location. If there is anything to "complain" see it as constructive cristisism: We missed a coat rack and a microwave. and being Dutch we would have loved a coffeemaker and for the elderly among us the stairs to the first floor is a challenge

Perfect location, 5 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to City Center. Everyting in walkable distance. Good communication

Our party of 4 (female friends) had a fantastic time staying at Stillwater and in general it met our expectations. The house was clean and modern and is in an excellent location, just moments from the high street and the sea. We had a fabulous time exploring the town, eating and drinking in the local bars and restaurants (which are many and varied), and walking along the sea front. There were just a couple of things that negatively affected our stay: - Heating: There appeared to be no heating in the kitchen, so it felt cold in the evenings; in addition, the towel rail in the bathroom wasn't on enough, so towels stayed wet. We followed all of the heating instructions provided but couldn't heat the downstairs as well as we would expect for a property like this. - Equipment: There was only one frying pan so making certain meals was tricky, and no microwave, which isn't the end of the world but it would have been useful. There was also nowhere downstairs to hang coats, which was inconvenient, and not great if you've been out in the rain. - Doors: We opened the balcony door but as it had swollen in the rain we couldn't close it again; we did report this so hopefully it has already been rectified. Also, the first floor bedroom door handle came off in our hands. Most of these issues would be very quick to rectify.
