Great spot on the water. Visited to do some scuba diving on the GBR. All the boats are a short walk from the pier. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. Very quiet and staff were pleasant.

It shouldn’t be a Hilton, the hotel is outdated and needs renovation. Has the best location and views in Cairns and I believe they can charge more for a proper Hilton. The staff are nice however and would go above and beyond to help.

Stayed 4nights.
The A/C unit in the room stopped working, and it made excessive noise on the day it got repaired.
Anyway, everything was sorted out on the second day promptly.
Although I experienced the issue with the A/C unit, I’ll 100% stay Hilton Cairns again if I visit Cairns for any reasons.
The managers and staff at Hilton went the extra miles to ensure my comfort while I was there.
Truly amazed how they did and what they did.
Stayed over 50 nights at many different hotels this year, but only Cairns Hilton is the place I want to stay again. (One of the hotels I never visit again is ‘Hilton Surfers Paradise’)

Rooms seem very small. Had to enter the hokey pool area(no bar, no anything) from the third floor stairway. Went to have a drink mid afternoon and there were jackhammers so loud it was horrid. No doormen in front of hotel to assist w bags etc….the whole program there seems run down and the service is terrible. we were set to return there but i immediately changed to the Shangri La.

We had an ocean view room for four nights. Outstanding view of the water. The room was fresh and nicely appointed. Plenty of horizontal space for luggage, toiletries, and other things. Extremely comfy pillows and bed. Well-trained staff who are happy to assist you. Breakfasts were great with a wide variety of tasty hot items, breads and pasteries, yogurt, fruits, rice, self-serve pancakes and all the rest. In a safe area with a wide variety of restaurants and shopping within walking distance…Loved our stay there and will go back at the earliest opportunity!

Absolutely terrible, i was in an executive suite which was tired and broken. The entire hotel was tired. Staff clearly weren't interested in customers, a smile would maybe help. O checking out the guy just looked at me gestured to say what?. Being a regular visitor, thought i would have a change, big mistake huge! Clearly Hilton are lunching on the brand but delivering well below expectatio . I complained about isses to only receive what seemed a pre packaged message, no substance, just a cafted measage, probably AI generated telling me thanks, but basically go away, we are busy.

It is clean and premium location but definitely was not in the class and luxury of Hiltons elsewhere… major renovations required such as double glazed windows to reduce noise transfer from busy surrounding areas such as Casino next door. The lobby, rooms, corridors need major upgrade. A bit disappointed for what I expected from Hilton

Hilton is very well located as it is right in the central hub and it’s easy to get to everything in town . Queue at check-in was long so maybe it’d be good to stagger check-in times . Nonetheless the staff at desk were efficient and friendly . Parking was disappointing as the spaces are small and there are not enough car parks to accomodate everyone .

We had a lovely room overlooking the inlet and wharf. The room was clean and modern. The hotel staff were excellent, very attentive. The breakfast buffet was the best way to start our day, the views from the dining room are perfect and the choice of food was huge. The location was great, even though it’s right on the wharf esplanade it’s not noisy and it’s a short 2-3 minute walk to the cbd. We would go back in the blink of an eye.

The property was located on the boardwalk. Beautiful and easy walk to shopping, dining, casino, marina with Great Barrier Reef snorkeling and diving tours and bars. Very safe. They have a beautiful pool with many chairs and very large area. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet had huge variety of fresh delicious food and even a juicer. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
