Everything was great at the hotel and the restaurant and bar on site as a huge convenience.
However the check in was a little disappointing. Room was not ready after 4pm and they had to find something else available. Perhaps was the staff via the hotel issue.

I reserved 2 rooms. Showed up and they only had one and the rest of the place was sold out. We had to search for a new place to stay. They did not even offer to help.

My room was clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. I had two very early days so didn’t get to use the breakfast or coffee areas. I did eat dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious. It’s a scratch kitchen so they were able to accommodate my food allergies. I want to go back when I can have time to enjoy all of the amenities.

The internet was out all day and night which means that I didn’t get a chance to watch television, just looked out the windows being bored and depressed.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times the past couple of years for work. Usually great. I booked a King room and arrived at 3:30, checkin normal starts at 4. They gave me a card key to go work by the pool letting me know they would give me a call when the room was ready. I checked back around 4:30 after no call and was given a double room on the 3rd floor(327). The shower drain was broke, as well as the light by entrance of the room. The sauna in the gym is also out of order.

While initially, the facility looked great from the lobby, the room initially had a nice smell but eventually had a fishy smell which we finally found came from the refrigerator. There were also ants on the entertainment center/desk. The piping for the shower was broken.

Lobby smelt musty. After getting into our room smelled really moldy. No water pressure in sink or shower. TV quit working@ midnight. Room is not very clean. Draperies and carpet are dirty. The first time we stayed here had a totally different experience. Will not be back.

Nicole..Nicole!!! I didnt know she was the Manager until after my stay when I called to speak to a manager about her exemplary service. I was evacuating Tampa from the storm and it was my Bday also, Nicole went Above & Beyond to accommodate me and make sure my stay allowed me to get my mind off Everything back home. She is a prime example of how Leadership and Customer Service should be implemented, and a great role model to her team. I will certainly be back again! Thank you!

good convenient location just off 95..and about a 15min drive to beaches..lots off restaurants and shopping close by...only negative it was a doggy hotel.. some barking at night ..normal hotels walls..great service....would stay here again.

Evacuated for the hurricane. I booked a queen suite and received a smaller room that was dirty and outdated. I appreciated the refuge from the hurricane but our room was not what I paid for, was dirty and smelled.
I will say the hotel was very dog friendly, which I appreciated. I was disappointed that with the hurricane they still charged the pet fee.

Old. Carpets look like they never were changed. If you're not aware entire hotel is pet friendly. Meaning your room can smell like dogs or cats. If your allergic or sensitive to smell you should know

I travel frequently, but don't write reviews. Jaylen at the check-in desk is the reason I am compelled to write. He greeted me with a friendly smile, quick service and selected the perfect room for a weary solo traveler. 8th floor room, corner end, with a sitting nook and view. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT & FABULOUS!! I was so pleasantly surprised with this room layout I had never seen in ANY hotel ANYWHERE before and certainly wasn't featured the pics or website (I check every amenity). The pool and deck overlooking the lake, gym sauna, breakfast buffet, FREE PARKING and on site restaurant and Starbuck cafe were all bonus!! The area also has places to eat and Harrah's Casino is short distance away for a little adult entertainment. There is also shopping nearby so definitely a hidden gem great for family or solo trip anytime. Enjoy your stay, I sure did and will be back!!

The Westin Fort Lauderdale was an amazing stay. The property and staff made it a very enjoyable one. For people complaint about the rooms, yes they are a little dated, but they are clean, the bathrooms are lovely and housekeeping was on point. Loved it and will be back to stay in the future.

Quick check in and check out. Ahead of schedule but it’s not the busy season. Room adequate in size and comfortable. The bathroom could use the proper vent to get rid of the extra moisture. Plenty of parking spaces. About 10 minutes easy drive to the ocean. Starbucks right next to the property. Overall very satisfied with our stay.

Depending on what side of the hotel you're on it's noisy. It is right by the highway which makes it a convenient location. We this know because we changed rooms a few times. I would have lowered the over all rating if not for the Front Office Mang Nicole. She is the only thing saving the hotel as far as I'm concerned. I cant believe this is a Marriott property. I don't know when it was purchased, but they need to put the Marriott touch on the property quickly!!. It looks old, and smells old. The rooms are dated, and falling apart. I could go into more detail but i'll leave it with, we had to call the engineering dept several times during our week long stay.
